They should get zero stars; or more correctly the waiter should get zero stars. My friend and I walked in with her baby. We were totally ignored. After he served the second table that came in after us and still continued to ignore us, we walked out.

Everything I’ve had from here is really good. Got some cheese puffs based on other reviews. They’re totally worth it, a new favorite for me. Customer service is awesome here. Food seems a little overpriced, however it’s a Mom and Pop type place and I could see them having higher costs and therefore having to inflate the price a little.

We were hoping for a «non chain» restaurant for a good breakfast. Found Amy’s on Unilocal and thought we’d give it a try. So glad we did!!! It was delicious and an excellent value! The biscuits and gravy were honestly the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant(and I’ve tried many)! Don’t miss Amy’s if you’re in Eureka.

This place has been one our favorites until today. I have never seen such an unorganized server ever. Not once did ask about drinks or ever come back to the table. He kept saying they where busy but it was half empty. Will NEVER go back!!!

Simple delicious food prepared with attention to details. The restaurant is owned and operated by a local couple which you have to love. Thanks for the good food. I think they serve breakfast all day!

Mom and pops restaurant literally. A couple owns this restaurant and they are the only ones working. They seem very happy and down to earth and work hard. The service is great for having the husband be the only server there. Restaurant itself gets kind of busy. Food is cheap and good. Parking isn’t bad at all in this area and had no trouble finding a spot right around the corner. We ordered the biscuit n gravy, half order of fried rice, Taiwanese breakfast, and a side of bacon. We were ready to pig out since we had not eaten. I would come back here again if I am in eureka.

For a town that doesn’t really have much, this little hole in the wall spot simply satisfied my hunger. My BF thought it was good too! We were in the area and starving and found this little place on Unilocal. Not too crowded and I believe the two owners(married couple) were the only ones working. Even with them only working the service was great. The man working there was sooooo nice and sweet. We ordered the fried rice, and I had the Taiwanese breakfast or whatever(which isn’t on the menu lol). Very satisfied. Would come back if I’m in the area. Also cheap, good eats always wins!

Food was great for simple breakfast fusion, although my personal taste it seemed slightly bland, but that’s what condiments are for. Owners are super nice and really adorable. What’s great is that you can customize everything basically in the menu. No onions, no problem.

Amy’s is a really adorable hole in the wall restaurant that has great service. The menu was interesting, the variety consisted of typical breakfast and lunch stuff then it had a Chinese side. Though the food was well made and presented I wasn’t really amazed. We ordered pancakes, chow mein, biscuits, amys delight, and cheese puffs. It’s good for the price and quantity but you can find these dishes anywhere, perhaps I’d come back. my boyfriend really enjoyed the experience and food though, he felt it was great, fresh, and he said he’d come back. It seems family owned which is really adorable, it appears the wife cooks and she’s of Asian heritage and the husband deals w the customers, super sweet.

Wonderful owners, excellent service! On a road trip from Portland, OR to San Francisco we stopped here to get our breakfast fix at dinner time. We had the best service ever and the food was so fresh and delicious. We had the very tasty cream cheese won-tons, veggie omelette with perfectly cooked pancakes and hubs had the Taiwan breakfast(not on the menu) which was white rice with two fried eggs on top and a big side of spinach. They saw that we had our dogs waiting outside so they even gave us some of the fresh chicken that was leftover from their homemade broth they just made! ALL of our tummies were happy. 5 star service and food with a great variety of both American & Chinese menu options. They really are the nicest people! Support this wonderful business! We will definitely be back on our next road trip through the area :)

Breakfast this morning was truly a delight. I’m so glad I checked Unilocal and found this sweet little place. The server was friendly, funny and clearly knows how to operate the front of the house properly. The food was all amazing. I got the Amy’s delight and I want more. Clearly the back of the house is run properly as well. Wonderful place. I loved every second of it. Thank you Amy’s Delight!

Went to this restaurant this am. Being that we are traveling through town, based on the reviews Amy’s looked like a good option. Boy were we wrong. This review isn’t about the food because we never got that far before we left. It’s all about the service, or the lack there of. My daughter and I sat down without introduction, and an elderly man FINALLY acknowledged our presence, and said he’ll bring us waters soon. Then two men came in and we’re greeted by the same elderly man promptly and were given waters immediately. He finally brought us waters then went back to the two men that had entered AFTER we did and took their orders. WTH? So we left. It is obvious he prefers men and gives obvious preferential treatment to men. If you are a woman, better go somewhere else cuz you aren’t going to get good service at this rainbow business. Never. Going. Back. Here. Ever.

After knowing the owners through the community, it’s hard to think they could be any nicer… Until I dined here! The kindest people, with excellent customer service. A small hole in the wall restaurant, you’d never guess by the outside what delicious food lies within! Came in for their advertised ‘breakfast served all day’ at lunch and couldn’t resist the Amy’s Delight omelette. An omelette stuffed with ham fried rice and topped with tomatoes, cilantro, and cheese, served with a side of homestyle potatoes and toast. I like omelettes, I like fried rice, but have never had them together… Mind, blown! This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Spicy garlic chili sauce and condiments readily available. In addition to my breakfast, I was tempted by cheese puffs. Served hot and fresh with sweet and sour sauce. Owner run and operated, this place is amazing! Highly recommend to anyone.

Walking around Eureka a few years back, I came across this great mid-town diner. In the neighborhood between Eureka Mall(Winco, not Bayshore) and Henderson Center. Chinese-American style, wontons and hamburgers, breakfast served all day.
This is the kind of place I don’t like to talk about, for fear of changing what makes it great. It’s friendly, relaxed, unhurried, and you should be too if you go here. Amy’s kitchen has a view of the entrance, and she sometimes greets people as they walk in. You might be offered some orange slices, or a newspaper to read while you wait. You can always look out the big windows and watch the traffic go by, or listen to the owners chat with the regulars.
The food is on point. I had the house special fried rice omelette with potatoes, I don’t recall seeing anything like that elsewhere around Humboldt. I’m not the kind of person to take pictures of my food, but I had to resist the temptation here, it looked amazing and tasted as good as it looked. I ate the entire plate. Also the English muffins were nice big ones and slightly sweet, almost like pancakes. I haven’t been amazed by and English muffin in quite some time.
The burger I had on my first visit was great as well, of course. If I lived in Eureka I would be a regular no doubt.

Pork heavy menu… not my fav, but they seem like such nice people & they try so hard to please that it’s hard to be critical — but here goes: A decent variety of items on the menu, but I would have liked more choices than ham, sausage, or fresh pork i.e., fried rice is with HAM. Chicken fried steak is with a PORK cutlet. Very homey. I only saw one item on the menu with BEEF — spaghetti and it was pretty good, too. Just passing thru, but we would return just for the great vibes.
