The food tasted good, and they did prepared my grandma the wheelchair seat as I said when I made the dinner reservation, which is very nice. Hope everything keeps going well in the future:)

My wife and I had dinner and drinks here. We enjoyed the food it was very good. We are both beer drinkers. The beer prices here are way to high $ 6.00 a piece. We feel a bit unreasonable. Because we will not return.

The service was excellent. Probably the best authentic style atmosphere in all of Evans. I had the burger which was perfectly cooked but was larger than the bun so a little messy. Not a bad thing for me anyhow. My wife had the chicken salad sandwich which was very good. The Mac and cheese was clearly homemade and was delicious. Only downside is they could use a few more beers on tap.

A bit random and haphazard. Our waitress was new, which is fine, but there was no when shadowing her. There’s no beer menu. The beer selection is weak at best. Furthermore there’s a lot of overpriced sandwiches, somehow our sandwiches and salad and meal for the kids ended up being $ 70. It’s okay.

To begin, the service every time I have gone had been amazing and the food comes out fast and fresh, no matter how busy the restaurant is. I ordered the Charleston Chicken and the food was delicious. My dad ordered the stuffed tilapia and swore it was some of the best fish he had ever had. Highly recommend the restaurant to anybody in the Evans area!

First the good. The food was slightly above average, and the bang bang shrimp was exceptionally good. Our waitress was very fast and efficient, very accommodating, and friendly. The décor is interesting to say the least. Now the bad. The design of the restaurant with the very high metal ceiling overhead makes the place extremely loud. What makes it worse is this place is a magnet for couples with young children. And I do mean young! The table next to us had a three-year-old, and a toddler. The three-year-old was whiny, the toddler was screechy, and the mom was pissy. The dad(I’m assuming) was no help, and mom was not happy with him either. It made for a rather annoying and uncomfortable evening until they finally left thank God. But needless to say lots of kids… Now I have nothing against kids — in fact I love kids! But what drives me nuts is that parents think that they can take these young young children to a restaurant and enjoy a nice meal. What the parents usually forget is that poor kids get bored out of their minds and act out. That makes for a rather unpleasant restaurant experience for the other customers wanting a nice sitdown meal as well as the waitstaff who have to clean up the mess left behind. This seems to be one of those places where parents like that seem to flock. So folks if you’re into that go here. However, for me if I would like a nice grown-up experience I’m going to choose to go elsewhere.

I’m going with three stars because I want to like this place. The good: I like the look of the place, lots of dark wood. I asked for a booth and they quickly cleaned one up for us. I ordered the soul rolls for an appetizer and so should you. Eggrolls w/collards, ham, and sausage? Oh, yeah. My wife’s chicken salad sandwich was excellent, according to her, and we both thought her mac n cheese side was tasty. Our server and service was outstanding. The bad: My burger. I ordered the Dixie burger, medium. Looked nice on the plate but when I cut it in half and chowed down, the bottom bun was soggy and the patty just fell apart in my hands. I ended up borrowing a bun from my wife’s sandwich to try to finish it. What was left was a mess of bun and onion ring breading. I want to go back because I have to believe that wasn’t the norm. Maybe it got backed up behind the appetizer and had to sit? The owner stopped by and saw my plate and asked about it, and I did tell him about the burger, and we chatted a bit. We’ll give the place a second chance.

Just found my new favorite place in Evans! You’ve got to try it. Southern American is what I would call the menu, everything from burgers to shrimp and grits. Outside and in it reminds you of an old house. The service is fast and courteous. I really like this place for my first time here and I’ll be back.

Fantastic Sunday brunch! My friend and I shared the Buffalo chicken dip, drunken mussels and fried pecan pie and we loved every bite! Mimosas were of generous pour and I love the 20’s style speakeasy feel of the décor. Unilocal says closed on Sunday’s but they are open from 11am-8pm. Will be coming back soon!

we went for lunch… one star for the service, and one star for the fried pecan pie. both were excellent. everything else was tolerable at best. i don’t think they make most of their food in-house and the things that are also aren’t anything to write home about. the sides seem like they’re pre-portioned and just sit out until someone orders them. my mac and cheese was weirdly congealed and not even hot, and all i could taste on my steak was salt. my husband & mother were equally unimpressed with what they got. my husband’s fried pork chops came out rock-hard and with no gravy(in the south? that’s unheard of) and my mother said the gravy on her chicken cutlet tasted like the canned campbell’s stuff. the menu is very small(only five entrees) so you’d think what they do they’d do well, but you’d be wrong. our server recommended the burgers; maybe we should have listened if we go back it’ll just be for the pie.

I had pretty high hopes for this place, but wasn’t impressed. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things. We waited a short time at the bar on a Friday night at 6:30. Once seated our waitress quickly came and got our drinks and took our appetizer order. We got the waffle fries, which came loaded. I wish I’d noticed that they were loaded with ranch dressing. I missed that on the menu, and I don’t do salad dressings. We then ordered a cowboy burger, because the ones we saw coming out of the kitchen smelled and looked delicious! I also ordered the Eli’s melt. The burger was fine, with a side of black eyed peas. The melt was blah. The chicken and bacon on the melt had no seasoning– no salt, no pepper. It was just meat. The fries that came out with the melt were steak fries. They were seasoned but a bit soggy. Staff was very friendly, but our waitress was MIA during our meal when we needed more water.

Thought we would try it since there we some really good reviews. We were VERY disappointed. The great atmosphere is about the only thing going for Eli’s. The kids meal hamburger was better than anything else we ordered and our waitress was non existent. The manager and owner filled our drinks while she was MIA. My husband ordered the Caribbean Jerk burger and only ate half. It was dry and very bland. I ordered the shrimp and grits which was decent but definitely not in the top 5 best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had. We will not be returning.

Has become one of my new favorite places in Evans. Greet service and its welcoming seeing owner and manager always working to make sure everything runs smoothly. Jerk chicken sandwich and the charleston chicken are my two favorites. Will be back again. Very kid friendly as well.

First time we tried to come here the wait was 45 minutes, which is testament to how good the food is. I really like the baked potato. The fare is simple and delicious and the menu is not overwhelming! Definitely would come back just to drink the Augusta Lemonade!

I went here with a friend on a Monday evening, so it wasn’t very busy. It was still happy hour, so we both got Moscow Mules which were great! Jessica was our waitress and she did such a fantastic job! She was able to answer questions about the menu and give good suggestions, all with a nice dose of humor We split an order of the Buffalo Chicken Dip which wasn’t bad, but I think it could’ve used a little something else to make it less dry and have more of a dip consistency… but I still enjoyed it. I had a salad and the Charleston Chicken with macaroni and cheese; all of which were great and brought out with good timing and at the right temperature. My stepmom was also very happy with her meal! Then… something happened that changed our lives… The DEEPFRIEDPECANPIE. OHMYSWEETGOODLORDINHEAVEN!!! We couldn’t even think straight because of how amazing this pie was! The service and the food were good enough for me to already recommend this place, but after that pie I’d say it alone warrants a trip to Eli’s!

Eli’s was hit or miss when they first opened, but they have improved significantly since that time. The menu feels a bit limited, but what they do, they mostly do quite well. The burgers are quite tasty, especially the Farm burger and the Caribbean option; it’s no Farmhaus, but that’s a high burger standard set for the area. Kids meal options are a hit with our kids, and we’ve enjoyed the appetizers we’ve tried. They have an amazing stuffed tilapia entrée, and their deep fried pecan pie dessert option is one of the best things I’ve tasted in my life! The staff is always friendly and attentive, even when the place is busy. The owner is frequently out walking the floor on checking on folks, too — that’s always a plus in my book. All in all, I’m thrilled with this place as a new food option in Evans, and I hope they continue trending in the right direction!

Pros: Beautiful restaurant, great prices, great service. Cons: cold fries, wilted lettuce, ice cold mashed potatoes. Good news is the cons are easily remedied as long as management cares about being excellent. Burgers were otherwise pretty good, restaurant has tremendous upside. We’ll be back, hopefully the food quality issues will get resolved.

Went there for lunch today with my girlfriends, and we were pretty impressed. We usually try to meetup for lunches during the week and we end up at the same locations repeatedly here in Evans. It was a nice change of pace for us. The atmosphere is nice, somewhat eclectic with the décor. It’s a new open space restaurant and it was very clean. The menu had a southern charm to it with traditional dishes like Fried Green tomatoes, Shrimp and Grits, and chicken salads. The portions were substantial, and the prices were fair. I was the only one at our table of 5 that did not get a burger, I got the Jerk Chicken sandwich instead, and it was huge! It had a great flavor, and it was very juicy, a little on the messy side. I got a side of their pimento cheese grits, which were alright, and I only say that because I make some dang good grits myself, and I’m a bit of a snob;) Overall, it was a great place for lunch and I’m anxious to try it for dinner one day. It’s a nice break from all the chain restaurants in Evans.

Host could’ve been nicer, but everybody else was great and nice! Our server, _______, was very helpful. The stuffed tilapia is so good. I do not usually like crab, but I didn’t really taste it on the tilapia. The potato soup is very good. The salads are the best in my opinion!

Stopped in for lunch today. My wife had the pork chop lunch special while I had the cowboy hamburger. My wife said the pork chops were the best she has had in town. The cowboy burger was awesome. It’s a new place but the owner Bryan Mitchell owned the Cotton Patch before so up I know it’s well run. Give it a try and see for yourself.
