Always a great place to go. It can get a little loud as far as atmosphere goes but the pizza is off the chain

I loved the calzone I had and the atmosphere is great with classic rock and dancing mushroom paraphernalia everywhere. Trippy for sure. A great choice for lunch or dinner

Seriously, there is no better pizza than Mellow Mushroom. The eclectic environment and unique pizzas make this an extraordinary experience. Couple that with their diverse selection of beer and you are in for a real treat! Go, RUN… to the ‘shroom…you will not regret it!

It has been really good both times I’ve gone. Good beer selection, especially on draught. Even when it was super busy and packed service was fine and food/​drinks were great.

Best pizza in csra so far. Cool theme. Didnt know it was a chain cause the food doesnt taste like one. Mushroom pizza and bacon and potato is my fav. Yea you wouldn’t think it but it works. Fun decorations and theme. Only try to piZza and prob stay that way.

Pizza and beer is always a great combination and Mellow Mushroom brings you just that, but with colorful walls and paintings of mushrooms and the like all over the place. This place looks like it’s a bit Alice in Wonderland meets pizza.
Thankfully, there’s both good pizza and beer within these walls. We did a half-​half pizza of the House Special and the Magical Mystery Tour.
Hands down, House Special wins in taste! This pizza is no joke! You can taste all the ingredients from the tomato sauce to all the delicious meats and veggies on this pizza. The crust was great– a crisp bottom with a doughy top portion.
The Magical Mystery Tour was good at first slice (I’m glad we were able to do half-​half!) but really not as good as the former. This is a different pizza that’s cheesier with a flavorful crust. The jalapenos give it a nice contrast of flavor, but I wish there were a bit more.
A medium was well-​enough for the two of us, since we also shared wings in a Thai sweet chili sauce (I’d skip the wings).
I also got a beer– their Monday Night Nitro Drafty Kilt was delicious and just the thing I needed to settle into my travels.
Service was excellent and our waitress was super nice! I’m so glad I found this place!

Newer facility. Clean and spacious. A little loud but not excessive. Good draft and bottled beer selection. Will allow «half-​n-​half» on the pizzas. Good parking.

They have excellent pizza, but they also have some other great things too. I absolutely love the Greek Salad there! I find myself craving it. Their Hot Wings are surprisingly really good too! Its a bit pricey compared to some other pizza places, but here you really pay for the better quality product.

The food was excellent as usual; however, the service was horrible. Our waitress did not come back to check on us not once after dropping the food off. We waited over 25 minutes for a refill and finally I had to go over to the group of 9 employees (including our waitress) who were congregated and socializing at the front hostess stand. Apparently the staff at this location would rather socialize versus actually providing customer service. I will continue visiting Mellow Mushroom, just not at this location!

Mellow Mushroom really does know pizza. The pizza at a restaurant does not taste like the pizza we get from the delivery chains. It’s better, much better.
I ordered a 10″ Kosmic Karma: Red Sauce base pizza with Mozzarella, Sun Dried Tomatoes, Spinach, Feta, Roma Tomatoes and a Pesto swirl. And a drink for under twenty dollars. The pizza tasted great. The 10″ is a great size for one person or two. The vibe is funky, the music is loud but you do not have to shout to talk to the person with you.

Food is decent and fresh… service is complete crap and you are likely to wait a very, very long time… not the place to eat if you are planning to make it to a movie

One of my favorites, I always head in and get some dough bites, and a pepperoni pizza. They have the best dough, and it makes you want to eat the pizza backwards. When my boyfriend and I go, we eat and at the end, we just pick the crust off the leftovers and eat that, because it’s too good to waste! It’s ways amazing, and the service is decent. The only problem I’ve had in there was the wait time, but usually when something takes awhile, the waiter will come and apologize and they will even take something off our check, usually our appetizer, which is what is usually late. But it’s definitely a frequently visited and favorite spot! And so well decorated inside, it’s a fun place to eat!

Masters of their craft. I have worked in chain pizza places and the Mellow Mushroom beats them all. Short of a no chain pizza place called «Blackthorn Pub» in St. Louis, this is the best pizza I have ever had and it boils down to one key factor: fresh and whole ingredients. Every bite tastes of freshness. This review counts as two because my wife will back me up.

I’ve been to a lot of them across Georgia, I usually get the cheesy bread and pizza. Never have had a bad experience, good food and really nice staff. Pleasant, family friendly place to eat.

I took the family to Mellow Mushroom on the spur of the moment, its Masters week and most places are packed, but the restaurant was half full at best which was both surprising and welcome. We sat down and ordered an appetizer, the bruschetta (which didn’t last long) was enjoyable and light according to the rest of our party.
Our waitress was very kind and patient, even chiming in at just the right moment with suggestions. I ordered a gluten free pizza, as I have an autoimmune condition that is aggravated by it and she rolled her eyes a bit, probably courtesy of all the gluten free diet fads out there so I didn’t hold it against her.
Overall, everything was very good. Everyone enjoyed the meal that they received and no one went home hungry. Finding a pizza place that everyone agrees on is a high mark and we’ll be going back.

My honey and I headed over to mellow mushroom for dinner. We both were famished and needed protein and carbs in our system ASAP. I’ve been to several mellows and never have been disappointed. My sweetie started with a beer and ordered a calzone with chicken, cheese, onion, pineapple, and peppers. I started with a small Greek salad and a medium house special pie that basically had every meat possible and some veggies. The salad was pleasing and I finished it pretty quickly. Both of us waited patiently twirling the knives having conversation about anything to distract us from the rumbling sounds in our stomachs. Then we both saw it… A young girl with Two trays approaching our booth one hand carrying the calzone and the other majestic pie of heaven. Yes! We immediately grabbed our knife and forks and dug into the food. There was no words spoken except sounds of enjoyment. After several bites I asked my honey what he thought of his calzone. He exclaimed that it was appetizing and the dough and meat ratio was balanced. My house special pie was delightful. The only con was the bottom layer of the pizza was soggy due to the amount of ingredients sitting on top. The liquids from the tomatoes is a factor to the softness. Otherwise everything was great and our waitress was very sweet and attentive. Also mellow mushroom is supportive to the military so that is A+ in my book!

Love this place! I have been here twice now and so far I have tried the buffalo chicken, philosopher’s pie, mighty meaty and the funky q. chicken pizzas. The quality of the food is great. Service is quick and staff are excellent as well.
I plan on trying their hoagies next time. I love how this place is decorated. Very psychedelic/​hippy-​ish. They also have a karaōke machine but I’m not sure what days/​hours that starts.
They are located right across from IHOP in Evans on Washington Rd.

This is my first time visiting this Mellow Mushroom location. I think it’s great. I always forget that a location is close to me. Today, I ventured out in the rain to grab take-​out. This location is in the Evans area and the traffic is a little more frequent on this side of town. I like this location. It seems larger than the downtown and the bar in particular seemed to be the hot spot. Many of the guests were seated there. You must also place take-​out orders at the bar. The waitress was quick and nice. She took my order and I paid right away.
My food was ready to in about 15 minutes. I hung out at a table while they prepared my food. I noticed they have outdoor seating with outdoor heaters. This is one of the few places you can sit outdoors in the cooler months. The heaters are a major plus. I ordered the Mushroom Club and Hummus. Both were great! I love that they have clear take-​out containers, which allows you to take a look at your food while you are still inside. I will probably be here again in the near future, but next time I think I’ll dine in and possibly sit at the bar.
