Just had a totally charming passport photo experience here. The owner is quirky in all the best ways, super friendly, affordable, really efficient. This was my first time in Image Gallery after living in Evanston over 30 years and it’s a little hidden gem that made passport renewal almost fun.

I came in here in a rush for passport photos — I was trying to make it to Kake S’s recommendation but ended up not making it in time since the other place closed at 5:30pm and Image Gallery is open until 6pm.
The owner and his wife were super friendly and it’s $ 9 for two photos. Here’s a great tip — they’re right next to Benefit Boutique — stop by for a little makeup touchup before heading over for your passport photos! Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with how they turned out; plus the owner’s wife and I share the same maiden name so an extra star just for that! Also, they have some fabulous art pieces, as well, and frames, too, that I’ll probably be back to check out since we get a 10% discount with our Wildcard.

This is a great store for looking at art, buying art and looking at frames for art. If you attend Northwestern, you can get a 10% discount on whatever you buy. Heads up!
