It’s sure got that country feel. There was even a guy in a Stetson there at lunch. But the rib-eye was massively salty and pretty mediocre. The house made rolls are tasty but reminiscent of the sweetish, light Kings Hawaiian rolls you can buy at the grocery. My friend liked his BBQ sandwich though so pick the right thing and you’ll be good.

I have eaten here once before about 3 years ago. The food was good. My neighbor and I had decided to try it again as I heard they had new owners. We shared a steak lunch. The waitress split all the food in half, from the steak, salad and baked potato. She was very, very accommodating.(The young gal with the tat sleeve) The steak was fixed perfect and tasted good. I will definitely go back!

If the review was just for my food it would be a 1 star. If you are vegetarian forget it. A wilted salad and fries are your only sad option. The baked potatoes are rolled in bacon grease before cooking so those are out of the question. The best thing I had was the peanuts. The other folks I was with said their meals were ok but nothing to write home about.

Sooooo… Love the smiles, drinks, burgers, and steaks… But time and time again the ribs: whether it be beef or pork, always dry and scarce of meat and appeal. Might be worth checking out other vendors for a product that would bring customers back. Until then, we won’t be… Sorry

OMG! I LOVE Jimmy Mac’s Roadhouse! Their menu seriously had me for a loop! I did not know what I was going to choose! We were given some complimentary house rolls(which are da bomb). And I sat and festered about what I was going to eat. Hmpfh! The house made rolls, are ooey gooey tender, and served with the most delicious honey butter. My hubby and I decided to share a burger —(which, in my opinion would have been better NOT shared… I wanted to eat the whole thing by myself). Ha ha. And then all of a sudden UFC was on the TV… we don’t care for UFC, but a gentleman came over and asked us if he could change the channel for us «to something else» because they don’t want to have such«things as the UFC fights in their establishment» We asked if he would turn on the University of Utah football game, and he did! This place is wonderful, and the food is superlicous! Don’t think about coming here, just come. :)

Yum… dead animal! Pretty much any way you want it! Have had different foods from a prime rib to pulled pork sammich and haven’t been disappointed yet. Drinks are filthy! Waitstaff has always been pleasant and you can throw your peanut shells on the floor. Another plus!

The lady and I stopped by here on a random Friday evening after some light shopping at the outlets… we were hungry but didn’t know what we wanted(sound familiar?) so I narrowed the choices down and Jimmy Mac happened to be near us so we decided to try it out.(Coincidentally, I’ve been craving BBQ food…) The place wasn’t bad, I like how the peanuts are thrown on the floor. Reminds me of being a kid again, for some odd reason. I ordered the strawberry margarita, which we didn’t know was happy hour(thanks to our waiter!) it was pretty good. The lady and I decided to split the combo, which gave us two sides and two entrees. Pretty good deal, I’d say. I ordered the ribs and fries, she ordered the salmon and salad. Salad was on the sweet side(seemed like they drenched the salad in dressing) and her salmon was alright. Wasn’t dry but it was definitely lacking something. The ribs were good, and the fries were fries. FresH! I would come back to try some other stuff, if somebody absolutely wanted to go. Wasn’t terrible but wasn’t the best! ***P.S. — Some tables were getting complimentary yeast rolls and WEDIDNOT. NOTONE. What the crap is that all about?! Not cool. Waiter wasn’t even attentive to that either…

Food is really good. Bob had a nice chicken Cesar salad, Steve had a sausage & baked potato with everything on it, I had a mushroom burger. Everything was good. Be sure and ask for your burger cooked the way you like it or else will be well done. Steaks are really good, prime rib is outstanding!

Good food but for the amount you get you’d think it would be cheaper. Eat before you go, or you’ll likely leave hungry.

Yummy! I love the atmosphere here! You get a yummy warm roll right when you’re seated which is perfect when you’re extra hungry! The food is pretty good as well

It was my first time coming to Jimmy Mac’s last night, and only because of a Corks and Canvas painting class being held there in one of their«dining rooms». Because we were a special event, we were only given the Happy Hour menu since we could not order food once we began painting(it wouldn’t be practical to eat and paint at the same time). So, my review for the food is based solely off their happy hour menu. To start, the outside of the restaurant is inviting, but the access is somewhat tricky since it sits behind a 7/11, with access both off Airport Road and Evergreen. Parking is mostly ample. The only downside to arriving at JM’s was the fact there was a hypodermic needle(South Everett critter trash) on the curb next to my parking spot. I kicked it into the fenced-in area behind my parking spot so it wouldn’t be an issue.(NO, I don’t think JM’s is to blame for the needle, but it was definitely yucky to see). Upon entering, you are greeted by both a hostess and a barrel of peanuts. There is also a display of good-looking steaks. We were taken to the class area, which was two rooms away from the main entrance(closest to the toilets). We got to our class early which allowed us to order off the Happy Hour menu — which technically ended at 6, but I think our server, Jesse, let the group order past 6 from the HH menu since it was our only option. It was made up of the usual suspects of fried foods, sliders, crab cake and crawfish chowder. My sis-in-law and I didn’t have raging appetites, so we opted to share the fried pickles/sweet potato fry appie as well as the ribeye sliders appy. Food came out freaky fast, which obviously means it’s all frozen and just gets dunked in a deep fryer upon an order being placed — with the exception of the grilled sliders, of course. The two sliders were served on tender buns, with grilled onions, cheese and a side of spiced fries. The sliders were on the greasy side, so I was glad to have a napkin(and painting apron) on to catch the grease drips. That said, the slider was very tasty. The deep fried dill pickles(5) were lightly coated in breading and seasoned with dill weed. They were served alongside sweet potato fries and a deliciously tangy-and-spicy dipping sauce(a hint of horseradish, perhaps?). The food was good, though typical of a HH menu, but the service from Jesse was fantastic. He handled about 20 of us painters with ease. Unfortunately, I don’t think it was a money maker for him but he was great at all times. Would I be back? Sure — I’d be really curious to try their regular menu items, and especially the crawfish chowder. I’d like this review to reflect a 3.5 star rating, but set it at 3 stars since 4 stars is just half a star too much.

Terrific prime rib and steak… baked potatoes are the best in town. Our server, Chance was very attentive and friendly. Recommend this restaurant to all! Get a table in Chance’s area if you can.

The best thing after the Hubcap burger and steaks are the sweet bread rolls! Very convenient lunch spot for Boeing and surrounding companies, has room for large groups. Happy Hour has good food and beverages. Can be a bit pricey compared to Outback or Applebee’s but it is worth it!

I really wanted to like Jimmy Mac’s, imagine my disappointment when my crab cakes were soggy and cold in the middle, my steak slightly better than the one from Denny’s, and cold hard yeast rolls. It was $ 41 and change for my meal and two kids meals. The waitress look put off when I asked for peanuts, it’s my first time lady how am I suppose to know I get them myself when I walk it? I would’ve asked for my money back or to speak to manager but it took long enough to get my check I said forget it… It wasn’t crowded either 6:00 on a Wed. If by chance a manager or someone reads this feel free to message me

Wanna be, rip off… !! (Texas Roadhouse… highly recommend if you are in a state that has one) The price was outrageous, sent the meat back not once, but twice. Service was unbearable. Absolutely rude and waited 75 minutes in total for the meal, drinks were never refilled and she only checked up one time. Save yourself time and money and drive to Seattle for a decent steak.

We met a large group here Saturday for lunch. Free parking is available in a private parking lot. Tabs are easily split. Discover is an accepted form of payment. This was both my wife’s and I first time dining here. We had a Val Pak coupon good for Buy One Hub Burger and get the 2nd Hub Burger free with the purchase of a beverage. We each ordered a couple pints of Armadillo Amber Ale by Hale’s Ale for $ 4 each. Tasty local brew. For our meals my wife ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger: topped with American cheese, a tomato slice, sliced onion and two dill pickle chips and served with steak fries for $ 11.95. Condiments are on the table so that one can dress up their own burgers. The steak fries were mediocre at best. I ordered the Sweet Onion and Cheddar Burger: topped with Tillamook cheddar, caramelized sweet onions and what was supposed to be Habanero Pepper Mayo(tasted more like Thousand Island or what they call secret sauce). This burger would have been $ 11.95 also if I didn’t have my coupon, which made it free. I didn’t really eat the steak fries that were served alongside my burger. Overall, I think the prices are a bit steep for the burgers and I think the burgers are better tasting at Bob’s or Red Robin. If I return, I will try something other than the burgers. Continue offering Val Pak coupons and I will continue to dine here Jimmy Mac. Also, keep serving up local brews. Nice touch.

Last time I was here took over 20 min to get togo and they weren’t busy. Also the steak was like a hockey puck. It was unreal. I guess it’s hard to cook a steak properly. They need a more friendly system and a better quality check on the food going out. One word: inconsistent Disappointed because my first few experiences were great.

I don’t hate it, I don’t love it. I am on the fence. We came in after the Hawks game on Sunday. Was not too busy yet. They do have happy hour all day on Sunday which is a huge plus and it is not just in the bar, another plus. I had the special which was chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and veggies. It was a HUGE portion and there was no way I could even come close to eating all of that. It was tasty though. The rolls they give you are amazing, hot, fresh and with honey butter. Doesn’t get much better than that. I also had a huge margarita that was not weak and worth the money. Even still it was a little over $ 5 which to me, is good. The rest of my party had gotten the two item combos with the ribs. Hus commented how good the ribs were and had pretty much no fat on them, for ribs, that is a huge feat in itself. He is super picky when it comes to that stuff. Only issue is that they did not cook my sister in laws steak properly. She requested to have it medium rare and it came out medium well. Not a huge deal, but pay attention in the kitchen. That is a pretty big difference in cooking. When it was all said and done with tip it was reasonable for the amount of food you are getting. Our server had remembered my sister in law and her fiancée from the last time they were in. Super nice, efficient but still seemed a little overwhelmed. She had actually put both steaks on the bill and needed to fix it because of the mistake. I would be back to try it again but it is not someplace that I will go often.

I loved Jimmy Mac’s when I lived in south Seattle, so I was pretty happy to see one had opened up here. We stopped by this evening to give it a try. The only reason they get 4 instead of 5 stars is because they are pretty expensive for what they are. We got two meals(a burger and a combo plate,) an appetizer(happy hour fried pickles,) one dessert, and two sodas and it came to over $ 60 with tip and tax. Having said that though, the food was good, service was excellent, cleanliness was… well, there are peanuts on the floor. It’s fun to throw food on the floor! Now on to the food. We had: Rolls: Always the best part about Jimmy Mac’s! Hot and delicious. Fried pickles & sweet potato fries: I love fried pickle spears, but the breading on these was a bit odd. You have to be very careful or the pickle will come out of the breading completely. It happened to us several times. The sweet potato fries were awesome. I’d probably order this again even though I’ve had better, especially at happy hour prices! Roadhouse Combo: Steak fries: I didn’t try these. Coleslaw: It was different. I liked it, my husband didn’t. It was kind of vinegary and onion-y instead of the usual sweet mayonnaise dressing. The portion size was generous. Coconut Shrimp: I didn’t try these but they all got eaten. Pulled Pork: Strong smoke flavor. I don’t think my husband liked the sauce they served with it. He didn’t eat much of it. Campfire Cheeseburger: I’m not a fan of charbroiled burgers, but they happily fried this for me. Yay for that! It was okay. Not the best I’ve ever had but it was good. Skinny fries: Kind of limp and not crispy. I wouldn’t opt for these again. Chocolate Lava Cake: It was okay. The cake was lacking salt. The price is good on the desserts though so we’d get dessert here again. Diet Coke: What can I say about this? It was cold and wet. All in all, we’ll come back. Probably for happy hour.
