Denny’s

The food here is not too bad for Dennys.
However the lady that works the grave shift has absolutely the worst attitude don’t know why she’s even working for the public and she is not a people person for sure this after hours Denny’s is the worst

Don’t waste your time here. They promise a 10% discount if you are staying at the Motel 6 next door, but then tell you it is not available unless you bring in a signed receipt from the motel, show your motel key, and show you driver’s license. What’s next, a note from the doctor that delivered you testifying that you are indeed who you are? Maybe I should have brought witnesses and a copy of my birth certificate! Treating guests like they are tweakers is definitely not a good way to run a restaurant! Plenty of other much better places to eat in the area, avoid this place!

I usually don’t do this but after today it was a must. I came in with my 8 year old around dinner time. We were waiting at the front to be seated for 10+ mins, nobody greeted us even though there was staff at the front a few different times. Finally we got sat, our waiter seemed rushed. It wasn’t that busy, anyway, I ordered county fried steak and my son a kids meal. My son got his food first within 25 mins after we ordered & I was waiting for over 45mins for my meal. the waiter came over and asked if I wanted my check BEFORE I even got my food! He never checked on us, only to ask again if I wanted the check after I received my meal. WORST SERVICE EVER!

The food came fast and the service was good. Senior menu food, grilled chicken and tilapia, actually tasted good with lots of variety for sides. The extra surprise was that the restrooms were clean.

Well haven’t been to a Denny’s in years. It will be long time if ever decide to come back. Service there is none. Was ignored for more than 15 minutes before we saw a waiter. The place was not busy. When the waiter finally came it was another 15 minutes to get our drinks. Food was ok. Was cold figured it sat in window for awhile. Going to taco time faster service and warm food. To bad I do like diner food. Really need to train servers on customer service. If its busy there leave if you want to eat in near future.

Got the spicy chicken skillet was decent. My wife got the super bird. Winco deli meat is more appetizing. The best thing I had was the 800 cal Oreo shake. I would
again if im in the mood for a decent shake. Oh the season fries are pretty good. The waitress was decent and nice. No issues there. Cheers!

I use to go to this location all time and had no complaints. Went in last night and probably won’t be back. We sat for about 20 min. No drinks no nothing. After we had been sat the waitress said she’d be back for our drink order and we never saw her again. The manager in the meantime sat a group in our section and then sat at the bar. She looked over a few times but never got up. I don’t know what she was doing but she did not give any regard to the dozen people sitting in our section. No service at all. When we walked out and brought our menus up to the bar and dropped then on counter next to the manager and another waitress who was now sitting there too. Neither one so much as looked at us. Horrible!!!

There was a time when I would have given this place 4 stars but this day is not today. This Denny’s issues stem not from its overworked staff but from its completely incompetent management. After inedible food the manager came and «took 20%» off this meant we couldn’t use any of our other discounts due to their incompetence!!!(which btw added up to more than 33%) so we ended up paying for their gross lack of service!

We’ve been coming to this Denny’s off and on for the past 30 years. We like the attentive service we get no complaints at all until recently.
Our last visit was disappointing. All was fine until our server gave us our meal. The server never came back. We were not asked if everything with our meal was okay of if we needed anything, no refills, not asked if we wanted dessert. We had to go up to the cashier to get our check.
We thought we would stop today for breakfast before we headed to the mall to finish up our Christmas shopping.
We go our drinks right away, our order was taken. Tables who arrived after us were served their breakfast before us so I asked why we haven’t been served breakfast yet. She apologized and said she would check on it. She never came back. On our way out we saw her talking with the manager.
Next time when we want a bite out Denny’s on 128^th will NOT be an option!

I like Denneys-​always service w/​a smile. the 2−4−6−8 menu is a bargain. Not too sure why they close off sections when crowds are waiting to be seated though. I go off hours-​like 2pm so never had to wait. Of course everyone knows about the free Grand Slam on your b-day.Well now they do ‘Diners Perks’you can do online or there. Got a free (w/​no o ther purchase!)build your own slam-​your 4 choices of like 12 items ($ 8.49)got 2 poached eggs2 bacon strips, english muffin and GRITS a huge portion. Only Denneys does grits-​before 2:30pm-then you get perks for $ spent. Love that they do milkshakes w/​REAL hard icecream. I do patronize other places but the Dining Perks will bring me back more often.

Extremely slow service. Saw a lady who worked there starring at me like she knew I was irritated but didn’t think to mention that to my server to save his butt. I’ve always like the food and this one is clean, TODAY at least. It crossed my mind that I should leave at get McDonald’s. That’s not the kind of reaction you want from a customer. I don’t want to see Denny’s fail, please modify your company to do better.

Stopped in for a late dinner before driving to Portland. We used to eat at Denny’s on road trips years ago. Pleasantly surprised. Our server, Christina B., was a breath of fresh air! Delightfully friendly, helpful with suggestions, and fast service. She even filled our travel mugs with coffee for the trip. The tilapia was perfectly cooked, to my surprise and enjoyment. We’ll be back.

It wasn’t bad, it wasn’t terrible. It was just Denny’s. The whole chain is in a dire need of a resurrection, rebirth or just new direction from the Top to bottom. My first time in this location and I was baffled that it looked IDENTICAL to the one I grew up to in michigan. everything from pictures to the type of block used on the wall. The food is not fresh and they may have local produce brought in on a limited basis. But I can tell you 70−80% of their product comes frozen. The server was very nice, very attentive but come on, wasn’t Rosie wearing the same uniform in Flo’s diner? Seriously, update your executives so they can update the stores. Everyone there is doing their jobs. Set them up to succeed. A business stuck in the past will eventually become just that, the past.

Service is slow I mean it took 30 mins to get my order and they had their favorite get there order be for I got mine. I well never be back to this place service really sucks. So people don’t wast your time on this place

What I would really like to know is how do you screw up a cheese stick? you literally just pop them into a fryer and bam there you go. Well my cheese stick was still frozen in the middle, everything else in my Sampler was either over cooked or under cooked I ended up returning it and just drinking some Water while my family ate I was so disappointed I didn’t even want to try again. Not to mention my daughters mac and cheese looked like it had been sitting out for hours there was a thick layer of skin over it. I will NEVER GO BACK!

The food was Denny’s food, it’s been the same quality since forever, what really sucked, our server, she has short dark hair and think her name was Christine, she has a horrible attitude, snapped at us a few times during ordering, couldn’t remember what we had asked for, never refilled one drink for our table, started stacking plates on top of food that wasn’t finished and when something was said, basically just asked how we wanted our checks, no apology for taking uneaten food. I’ve been coming here almost 9 years now, and because of this single instance I don’t want to come back, and if I do, I will remember her and request a new server.

This is the worst Denny’s I have ever been to the manager on duty was the one serving us as well. We waited over an hour to get our food alone sodas took 20 min. And there was only two other tables being Waited on. It wasn’t like it was a really busy at all I could understand it if it was. Plus the manager was screaming at the employees for everyone to hear. On a plus side she did crank up some rap music to cover her screaming at the employees. My 9 year old son to loved listening to cursing rap song. Don’t go here ever this place is a joke

This place is okay. Came here because IHop was too packed. We were seated right away and the place itself is a cute little diner. They give you good portions, I couldn’t finish the whole meal because there was a lot but that’s good, you get your money’s worth. Only thing was, the coffee is horrible. Really bitter and just not good and it was a fresh pot too. Also when we got our food, our plates were covered in grease. I’ve never had a greasy plate like that so it kind of threw me off. But other than those two things, for a quiet and cheap breakfast, this is the place to go.

Got here this morning 6 am was waited on almost immediately. The guy took our orders let’s keep the coffee coming.
Now just waiting on food and haven’t even been here five minutes. Keep theses two that worked graveyard and early shift. They got their stuff together on customer service.

I never had a breakfast at Denny’s in Vancouver, but, always do when down in States.
As a chain restaurant and most Denny’s are located in proximity to freeway exists, so much easier for us to drive in and have big breakfast before our shopping trip.
The service was a bit slow but we got coffee refilled and water as well.
Kid’s meal — Mac & Cheese w/​grapes. Macaroni was good, but the grapes were frozen cold and hard.
Lumberjack — Ham, bacons & sausage with eggs and hash brown. Big full breakfast was good.
Ultimate skillet — Grilled breakfast sausage, fresh spinach, roasted peppers and onions, mushrooms, grape tomatoes and red photatoes with 2 eggs. Taste good.
American slam — 2 bacons & sausages with eggs.
From my past experience, it won’t be wrong to have breakfast at Denny’s if don’t expect too much service and food quality.
