Denny’s

I sat and they took there time just walking around doing nothing the food took around thirty minutes and the service was by far the worst I would never recommend it to anyone if you want to eat at a location with great service then don’t come to this location.

I got a Belgian waffle slam. Simple. Nothing extra to it. Me and my guest had time to eat all of our food (half of mine) plus down half of our milk shakes before I even saw my waffle. People who came in after me got all of their food. Why was a waffle so hard to make? Took them 40 minutes to make me my one waffle. Horrible server. Sorry but no tip was left by me. If waffles are too hard to make tell me, don’t make me wait and eat half of my order. On one side note she had 3 tables and the other server had 6 wish I got the other server. She also was very chatty with her co workers, I didn’t like being ingored. I’m willing to go to ihop or take the drive to the one in everett

I often come here after concerts in Seattle because I have the munchies. Every visit is a disappointment, yet I always return. It’s probably because there’s a gas station near by and I always fill up there. The service is very slow, it’s always busy and most of the time I go there there’s only one cook and one server. Why only have two people working when you know these damn kids are going to come in with the munchies for pancakes at 12pm at night?!
Sometimes they don’t have what you want because they don’t have the ingredients. Sad day.
I think this will be my last time coming to this Denny’s. I had ordered onion rings one night and I got a block of it… literally a BLOCK of onion rings. Look at the picture, I’m not even kidding.
I know this isn’t a high standard fancy diner but c’mon. Can’t you at least break them apart and fry them instead of frying a block of it all together? I’m going to drive closer to home to a most likely better Denny’s that hopefully won’t disappoint me and won’t fry a block of onion rings and serve it to a customer.

Worst service ever! From the moment I walked in, I felt ignored. People who came in after me were seated before me and it was not busy – only 6 tables taken in the whole restaurant when I first got there. Once seated, I waited at least 10 minutes before someone noticed I didn’t have a menu. At least another 10, probably more like 15, before my order was taken. My food took forever and was cold when it finally arrived. The waitress never checked back even though I desperately needed more napkins. She finally returned, plunked down another drink I didn’t need, and took my plate. Despite this, I decided to order dessert. I thought they couldn’t possibly screw up ice cream! 20 minutes later, nothing. After I watched her deliver desserts to everyone but me, she finally came back to ask me how I was doing. I politely told her I’d like the dessert I had ordered 20 minutes ago and her response was that they were out of vanilla ice cream. She couldn’t have mentioned that when I ordered instead of making me wait 20 minutes for nothing? I asked for my check and had to wait again. I’ve never walked out of a restaurant but I was so close to doing it tonight. Get your act together, Denny’s!

Free grand slam on your birthday! Doesn’t get any better. Actually it does: if they don’t demand a printed coupon and if they let you order something at a higher price and you pay the difference. It could be a win-​win in both cases. You save trees, and you get more $ out of the customer!
Service was quick. The customers who found out the Bothell location was closed ended up here.
The tables were cleaned, however there was a residue of some sort and a slight musty smell.
Unlike my favorite pancake place named with 4 letters, you don’t get a flask of coffee. No big deal. I don’t need refills on that kinda coffee, but that other place also has half and half in great flavors. Here there’s just creamer.
Pancakes were good with limited toppings. I was craving for blueberry with lotsa whipped cream. Boy I am whining. One kinda syrup.
Ham, it was a little dry but thankfully not horribly oily. Eggs, sunny side and hash browns: perfect.
To put things in perspective, being given a free breakfast is an act of kindness.
I will be back because everything in their menu looks wonderful.

Horrible customer service. Came here with a friend to get a quick bite to eat before work. Wendy had taken our orders, and after that have not checked up on us since. It’s been an hour and a half, still no food, and not one person had came to check up on us. DO NOT COME HERE!!!

Horrible customer service, food was burnt, took forever to get a refill or anything else

i am very disapointed with Denny’s on 196^th Lynnwood. We ate breakfast there & parked in the Gyro parking lot cause there’s was full. Gyros was not open & when we came out a tow truck was ready to tow our car, We had to pay $ 164.75 cash to have driver not tow our car, Gyro manager said he was just an employee & couldn’t do anything about it, We paid the driver $ 164,75 cash & then he towed the car next to us because the owner didn’t have the cash. Two other people parked & I told them they would get towed. They asked the driver & he told them he would tow them if they didn’t move. Denny’s said they were sorry but it happens all the time. If they know this they should warn there customers to not park there. We will never do business at any of the stores in that parking lot again.

The pancakes were dry, and so were the eggs and sausage. Service staff was not responsive, and I had to wait 20 minutes to get a to-​go box. Do yourself a favor and go the iHop across the street.

It’s a Denny’s. The food is the same pretty much anywhere in the country. The staff here are super friendly though. The best of any Denny’s I’ve eaten in, and I’ve been to quite a few.

I’m not sure why Unilocal doesn’t allow negative reviews, but in this case, it should. First off, I understand that the place was slammed, but there weren’t effective tools in place to manage the crush. The name list was on the back of scrap paper. There was also a lot of evidence of ill advised cost cutting on Denny’s part as the bacon was razor thin. The eggs were poorly cooked as well. They were probably rushed. Again, this is probably poor management. The piece de resistance was my grits. They were watery when they arrived, so I decided to let them sit for a bit to thicken. Once I did take a bite… Well, I then asked my wife to take a bite and what did she think? Yeah, the same as me. They tasted like coffee. How sloppy can you get? Oh, plus we got burnt toast. How could they let this stuff leave the kitchen? Please, quality before quantity. At least Denny’s quality.

By far the best experience I have had at a Denny’s. I’m not a fan of Denny’s since everytime I go to numerous locations I always receive slow and horrible service while the food is always sub par. So my friend and I had been working all day and finally decided to eat. Everything’s closed and he doesn’t drink so no bars for us! Not wanting to drive to Beth’s we opted for this location. Upon entering I could tell the single worker who was juggling roles of host, cashier, server, food runner and bus boy was overwhelmed. Common thing for Denny’s to understaff, seeing this I wasn’t very optimistic since it took us 5 minutes to even get seated. Dealing with a group of teens that couldn’t seem to just pay and leave it took him a little while to get to us. Since I was starving I ordered the starter of nachos to share and a omelette with tea. This is where everything starts to get better! The food came out quick! I was blown away when the nachos came out maybe 7 minutes after ordering and the omelets were close behind. Our server kept us topped off on drinks and cleared old plates quickly. The nachos were as expected; messy and delicious! All the food was surprisingly good (not Beth’s good) but good! I was happy to give the server a nice tip… Due to the look on his face it looked like no one had tipped him all night. I’ll return when I need late hour grub.

Food was good but service was bad.
Very slow and at other times, seemed servers wasted time gossiping.
It is one thing to gossip but not while my family was waited to be seated and served.
The workers I assume are clearly unhappy about something and it has affected their work quality.

Man where to start. Very unorganized, no presence of any management, servers just standing around hands in pockets, and nothing but gossip and talking about there guest they had or have. We are sitting the the dining rail and shocking the register girl saw us sitting here for 10 minutes and at least got us something to drink. Seems like everyone is here for themselves. And not to mention servers expo the food dealing with cleaning towels money and dirty dishes. Not once I seen any of them wash there hands. So dealing with food that’s nasty. Sorry but never again I’ll come here. Zero stars if I could give it that!

This «diner» was nothing but a disappointment. Food was OK but the service was a little lame. We raised our hands several times to get more water but weren’t attended to and we asked for the check to be combined but it was still made into separate checks. Not to mention, the vibe of the place was a little dry. No music and really quiet. It was awkward to have a conversation because we felt as though everyone could hear us. If you’re looking for a fun, upbeat place to dine with your friends, don’t come here.

It wasn’t busy at all and we didn’t get our water till right before our meals, so we sat there for 30 minutes with nothing in front of us. That’s one of my pet peeves when dining out. No water refills either. No wifi even though it advertises it. My daughter did get her meal free as advertised so that’s worth a star. The restrooms were clean and maintained, worth another star, but customer service and knowing the basics as a server… needs quite some work!!!

Please tell my why I have been sitting in this restaurant for 20 minutes and not one person has greeted us but the manager and service staff has walked by more than once? Zero star options should exist.

Awefull service, most of the severs are only serving on the counter. They took 15 minutes to bring us a glass of water. Please don’t waste your time coming to this location.

Horrible service. Asked for over medium eggs, got over easy. Server handed me a hot plate instead of placing the dish on our table. Customer service needs a lot of work. Worst experience I’ve had here.

Came to this Denny’s and did not know what I wanted and I kept changing my order but the waitress did not get mad or anything just gave me moments until I was ready and came over at perfect timing, after I order though my food could’ve came a little quicker but that just me being tedious after taking so long, while I was waiting the lobby was really chilled and the music was actually listenable. It’s nice and spacious so you can bring groups of people and it’s in a pretty nice location with plenty of business around, but how can you beat the 2,4,6,8 menu. Only reason this got a 4 out of 5 stars is that the waitress after barely came by and checked on my wife and I so we basically had to wave her down. But also another tedious thing because she was the only waitress waiting a lot of tables by herself. But other that good job.
