Very disappointed in the food selection. Everything looked like it had been sitting out since the AM so I ordered a lumpia. Although made to order, the actual lumpia was incredibly bland and the sauce they use tasted like a more diluted version of the one everyone else uses. The only saving grace here is the people. They seem incredibly nice!

HOTGARBAGE!!! if I could wave a sign to detour patrons I would. for starters the food is all pre made either early am or the week prior(who knows). We ordered the adobo, some beef steak and crispy pork. the adobo was so salty and dry that no amount of water could help, the pork was rock hard and covered in salt. the beef steak had the texture of microwaved beef. the rice wasn’t fresh as well. Being Asian and growing up with many Filipino friends I know that is not how the food should taste. for 2 people and $ 40 later it was a waste of time and money and we were still hungry. The aftermath was not pretty as we all had G. I issues for a few hours, not how we wanted to spend our Friday. save your money and your gut and avoid this place.

I wasn’t expecting to feel right at home in Lachon Palace, but that’s exactly what happened. It reminded me of going to any local restaurant in Zambales(a province in the Philippines). They provide you with a good amount of rice and their entrée(also known as ulam: oo-lam). When my husband and I first visited Lechon Palace we were so hungry, maybe enough to each an entire pot of what they were serving that day. I noticed that the menu items vary which is great for anyone who gets easily bored of having the same thing everyday. Just imagine yourself at your Filipino friend’s house(or your auntie’s house) and you’re served with a lot of food! Like I said, a good amount of rice and also the perfect amount of ‘ulam’. We knew then that we couldn’t finish the whole pot, the size of the entrée in the bowl was good enough. I ordered their Lechon for my mom’s 50th birthday as well. It isn’t the cheapest but their Lechon isn’t the typical type of roasted pig you can buy from China Town or your local Asian market. The perfectly crisped pig comes with stuffing as well as their homemade ‘Mang-Tomas’ sauce(also known as the All Purpose Sauce). Just like how they make them back home, keep in mind you pay for what you get, and every penny spent was worth the flavor and crunch. Lechon Palace catered for my late Grandma’s funeral early March, though no one can compete with grandma’s cooking, their Adobo, Pancit and Pinakbet were so good! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone that’s looking for a home-style, from your auntie’s kitchen-made Filipino food. So if you’re in Everett and don’t really care for anything fancy, just something different(if you’ve never had Filipino food before) and filling, try ‘em out!

We went in for a quick lunch on weekdays. The menu was very limited to what they wrote on the little white board on the cash register counter. On the day of our visit, there were only six items served. We ordered pork mitsado and chicken afrtada(both $ 6.99 each and came with rice). The food were kept on aluminum tray on top of another aluminum tray filled with water inside a heat lamp food display case. However, since it was not a steam table, the food was luke warm(we hate luke warm food). The pork was overcooked and very dry. The chicken had good flavor, but some potatoes were undercooked.
