Has that classy 30s feel with the décor. I had the bourbon and vinegar glazed pork shoulder which was outstanding. My only complaint is only 8 taps and two of those are shock top and goose island. To me the pub part of gastropub means a good beer selection

Great food!!! My only problem is the wait time for the servers to get it together and respond to our needs. AND! Yes I will be that girl that does explain her embarrassing moments … I actually tripped and fell on a upper stair way area to the front seating area. You can’t really tell its there, it’s too dark !!! Do be careful entering … Still mad lol…

We came here for my boyfriend’s birthday; overall it was great. I read the mixed Unilocal reviews before coming here, but ultimately I’m SO glad we came here! We had the Georgia Peach(it was okay) and the Rum Runner(very good) to drink with our truffled fries. The fries were amazing, I just wish we had more garlic aioli. We had the pulled pork sandwich(which was very good according to my boyfriend) and I had the scallops with pasta(which was a very small size, but after all the fries it was the perfect amount) and it was just perfect. We also got a caramel sundae and the whole thing cost maybe $ 67; not bad! Our waiter/server was fantastic; super friendly, very attentive. I would definitely go again.

I was just in town for a couple days and the place looks like it would be nice… Positive: great ambiance, great staff and a good musician Negative: the food! No one in our table even ate half their food. It was bad :( Next time I should consult Unilocal before trying any new places.

Had dinner earlier here tonight. We had the Truffle Fries with garlic aioli, Fried Green Tomatoes, and for an entrée we shared fried chicken with macaroni and cheese. The fries were so good! It was even better with the aioli. The aioli was so good I put it on the fried green tomatoes. OMG! It was like an explosion on my tastebuds! Our entrée came and I took the leg. Husband ate the thigh. Fried to perfection. Not greasy. Mac & cheese was a bit rich for me. Husband ate it all. Biscuits tasted like they had cheese in them. They were great. Best if all was the friendly waitress, Lindsay. She wasn’t just friendly. She catered to our needs, advising what was good, and talking to us like we were old friends. Nice girl. We gave her a descent tip.

I was really impressed with the Prohibition Gastropub! The food was delicious and elegant, the décor was gorgeous, and the staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. And I loved the musical duo playing and singing Oct 2nd. The only negative comment would be that the scallop dish was a rather small portion, but the pork and spätzle was amazing! I’ll definitely be coming back.

I’m actually pretty shocked by the amount of good reviews this place has. I guess it could have been a fluke, my experience, but based on the lack of other diners on a Saturday night, probably not. I will start by saying we have wanted to eat here for years. Recently we discovered the Majestic Café has closed down so we decided to try the Prohibition. We walked in on a Saturday night at 6:30 and there was one table occupied. In hindsight that should have been a clue to cut and run. Our waitress was horrible. The kind that asks you how your food is literally the second it’s placed in front of you. Overbearing, interruptive and untrained. Refilling water glasses over someone’s dinner plate so the water drips on their dinner? Really? Next the food is greatly overpriced for the menu. It’s a Ram menu with a Mongolian Grill bill. And the food is nothing special. The steak special was a rib eye and instead we were given a top sirloin that should have been trimmed because it was full of fat. While we sat and ate, 2 employees(both wearing white chef coats) came in and out of the door that was next to our table.(a side entrance that our table was almost blocking so they had to squeeze by our chairs) When we left the owner and one of her male employees were out in the parking lot smoking. Tacky. Both of these speak to the professionalism and the leadership you give your employees. We won’t be back.

Recently took a vacation to the Seattle area. I was born and raised on the Alabama shores and gulf coast. Nobody does«Southern Hospitality» like the Gulf Coast. Actually, I out right lied. If you are considering dining here(it really shouldn’t even be a question in your mind, obvious answer is yes) let me touch on a few things first. 1. Out of ALL the places my friends and I went to eat(and we are food junkies!) NOBODY came close to remotely matching the excellent, prompt, friendly and GENUINE customer service the crew here gave us on BOTH occasions that we dined in. I tell you… people come to the gulf coast expecting the customer service we got here. If the crew ever needs a part time job, they should consider having people come here to be trained on customer service. My career is based on customer service, and I was beyond impressed. 2. The décor, the atmosphere, the music. all surpassed my expectations. These folks managed to take a high class/upscale atmosphere, inject some good olé southern heritage in it and turned it out to a perfect spot that can be casual or dress to impress. 3. Finally, what you are wondering the most about. The food. I’ll some it up easily. Come Judgement Day for me, and God asks why I committed the sin of Gluttony not once, but twice here. All I’ll be able to say is «When it’s time for the second coming, you go eat ANYTHING off that menu. Go on, I’ll sit right here and wait. We will discuss this has you lean back with a tooth pick savoring the left over taste in your mouth!». Simply put. This is easily some of the best food I have had in my life. The home made soda is great(try ginger). They even took care of us southern boys with homemade sweet tea that was to die for. I know its hard to decide where to spend your hard earned money. I hope this review convinces you to spend that money here. I try to keep my reviews entertaining but also honest and blunt. There is one more thing though, that I need to comment on. This vacation was in honor of my father who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Jan 9th. My dad ALWAYS said«be happy, no matter the cost.» As we were leaving the first visit, the owner who had been visiting with us while we ate, reconnecting with southern folk and talking up a hunger storm about good food asked us to please come back and dine with her again. Of course, we all said yes without hesitation. Something magical then happened. She said she didn’t know why exactly, but she needed to hugs us before we left. That, blew me out of the water. I have NEVER seen a business owner care THAT much to hug RANDOM, OUTOFTOWN patrons. Folks. Its simple. Great people. Great place. Great food. Why are you still reading this?! Get in there and eat!

My favorite restaurant in Everett– highly recommend! The décor and atmosphere are super cool, both edgy and classy, service is excellent and food is to die for. I like to try the specials, which have been different every time I’ve gone in, and I’ve never had anything there I didn’t like. The only problem is that I am not a naturally slender lady and my boyfriend has high cholesterol. We would eat there a lot more often if we could afford the calories. These dishes are rich, so we save our meals there for special occasions and entertaining out of town guests.

This is a must in Everett! Hands down some of the best beer and food I have had. Had a bacon wrapped bacon and cheddar stuffed burger. Incredible ! Bs yes, Chef Ramsey did come here and put his touch on it!

Great food, very friendly staff. Had one of the specials, Barbecue Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese. Delicious! Also had one of their house made sodas, Orange Vanilla. Also very delicious. All in all a great experience, that we most definitely will do again sometime in the near future.

Great atmosphere, even better food. Went in on a whim, and glad I did. Got the short ribs, which were tender and tasty. The garlic mash was a great compliment to the ribs. It wasn’t a fluke because I came back a few nights later and it was just as good. The beer was good, the music made for a good atmosphere, a great place to hang out for a leisurely meal. Anthony recommended his grandmother’s apple cake, and sure enough it was worth the calories. I look forward to returning and trying the rest of the menu.

AMAZING!!! Blown away from start to finish! Best food and service I’ve had in a LONG time and we eat out quite regularly! My boyfriend and I brought my parents up to Everett to see a concert that was playing at the Historic Everett Theatre. We were searching for something close to the Theatre and found the Prohibition Gastropub online. I called to make reservations and whomever answered the phone was so incredibly polite and considerate. I was blown away! She asked if it was a special event we were coming for, but I explained I was just taking my parents to a concert a the Theatre. She went as far as to ask what time the show started, and then suggested we try to arrive a little earlier to ensure we made it to the show in time. MINDYOU… I later realized that I had called BEFORE the restaurant was actually open. Even more impressive that I received the level of consideration when the restaurant wasn’t open for business yet that day! When we got to the restaurant we were promptly seated. Our waiter(Randy) said he was new to that restaurant, but gave my family, my boyfriend and I the best service I’ve experienced dining out in years. He was very kind and attentive. The restaurant owner swung by our table several times to check on our experience. The food was spectacular, albeit the portions could have been bigger. I’d suggest having an appetizer or a salad along with your meal. My mom ordered the Meatloaf, my Dad ordered the IPABBQ Shrimp and Spicy Cajun Sausage meal, and my boyfriend and I ordered the Bourbon Cider Glazed Pork Shoulder and Pan Seared Sea Scallops. Everything was absolutely delicious, however the Sea Scallops were more appetizer size, not meal size. We live about 45 min away, but will ABSOLUTELY be coming back here! Thank you for the amazing meal and service! I wish more restaurants followed up to your standard! IMPRESSIVE!

We visited Prohibition because I had recently watched the episode of Kitchen Nightmare’s where this place was featured. It did not disappoint! First off the hostess was the owner! Very cool. Our waiter was really nice, he recommended the meatloaf so that is what I ordered. What a spot on recommendation! It was great! The portion size was perfect. Not to big but not small. We also had the bread pudding for dessert and the poutine for an appetizer, both were really good and great portion sizes. I ordered a specialty drink, All That Jazz which was a classic champagne cocktail very good(a little expensive $ 10 but that was OK, the whole night was a bit of a splurge). There was also live music which was really nice in the background, not too loud. I honestly would recommend this place to anyone, even if I hadn’t seen it on TV. It was really good!

I and my hubby decided to try this place after hearing about it from co-worker. Prohibition Gastropub also on Kitchen Nightmare with Mr. Ramsey. Décor was very nice, the service was great; but the food is a little disappointing. We started with the French onion soup, which was okay, nothing special. For main entrées, my hubby got rib eye steak with fries; the steak was not very thick, got a little of the flavor there but was under-seasoned; WAYTOOEXPENSIVE with the price $ 28. Hubby had to add a lot of salt and pepper. Bourbon glazed pork was very dry, mashed potatoes had a funny taste like it was made from corn. Meatloaf with bacon wrap was good, saved the day. I gave 3 stars for the good service and the drinks, but not so sure I would comeback.

From our first visit we were hooked! So, My husband hosted a work event in the private room. The owner was wonderful with helping us plan the event with short notice. The menu option and choice we selected were a hit with our guest. Our waitress was great at attending to our every need. Feed back from our group was so positive for location, atmosphere, food, and service. I highly recommend for your next small event or casual dining or date night. Place is romantic, casual, and centrally located with very affordable menu. We will be returning for another visit soon!

This place was A-OK. Beautiful décor, easy to find, great staff. But food was OK. Not vegetarian friendly :(The spatzle was incredibly heavy and very bland. Boyfriend got the steak and thought it was pretty good for the price.

Sat a party of 3 at a table literally right inside the entrance door. Took 10 minutes to order and after 30 more minutes, still no drinks. Caught the eye of the waitress(one waitress for the whole front room with maybe 30 people in it) and she gives me the(holds up one finger) «one minute». Very disappointing because the menu looked interesting and the indoor décor was very cool. This place may not have a problem with the food that we never tasted(we walked out after the 40 minute wait and still no drink) but the service still may need another visit from Chef Ramsay. Will never recommend and will not return.

I got the Ribeye Steak & Frites topped with garlic compound butter… and truffle fries w/garlic aioli… YUM! For dessert, the Butterscotch Bread Pudding w/whiskey cream & strawberry compote which was TODIEFOR! Seriously… I would drive back to Everett JUST.FOR.THIS! Overall, an amazing experience… the owner served us and she was absolutely charming, very friendly & welcoming! WIN!

This cool little place was on Gordon Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares. We stumbled across this nice little neighborhood PUB, Restaurant, while looking for something different than your regular lunch fast food. Prohibition Gastropub is very friendly and welcoming, with historic charm in the layout and décor. The owner greeted us with open arms and gave us a detailed listing of all the specials for food, wine and beer. Service was quick and friendly and made for a perfect lunch, that allowed us to have wonderful conversations and a memorable lunch. If I was living in this part of town it would defiantly be my weekly neighborhood PUB, for a relaxing drink or two with friends and family.
