I just received the best costumer service! I had placed a delivery order from Sei bar. I had ordered spider maki, shrimp tempura, avocado salad and edamame and the grand total came out to $ 30. When they delivered the order they had forgotten the edamame. I called back & told them(I didn’t yell or fuss or fight, like other people do) I just simply spoke to them about it & I’m 10 mins I had 2 orders of edamame delivered to my house. The people at Sei bar definitely care about their customers.

Two out of the 3 foods that I ordered was great. Everything was hot and fresh. I loved the avocado salad and the chicken wings was huge. But I have to say the Pad Thai was AWFUL. I don’t usually like using that word but awful sums it up. Let’s just say my avocado salad had more flavor and moist than the noodles. I was practically eating plain tasting noodles that I had to re fry to have taste to it. I hope this post helps the company by suggesting that they retry or re-taste their Pad Thai before serving it again.

So many good things with this place. The delivery is super quick! My favorite of all time is the crab rangoon! The best I’ve ever tried! The go to dish is the pineapple fried rice. It has chunks of pineapple, jumbo shrimp, thinly sliced chicken, over a well seasoned rice with hints of curry & tons of veggies. I just wished they opened all night!

Only a few booths and tables in the restaurant but the food and service were great. I will definitely be back.

I ordered a delivery for the first time ever. They treat me so well by phone even though I don’t have the best level of English. And I got exactly what I ordered and that sesame chicken became my ultimate favorite!!! In less than a half hour!

The lunch specials are priced quite low for sushi(though there isn’t very much of it), so that’s the advantage of the place. Otherwise, I thought it a bit pricey for the quality. The rolls looked sloppy, and one of my friends commented that the fish didn’t taste very fresh.

Over all perception of my meal was just lack luster. Wimpy Dink portions. I took a couple pics because I was a little in shock about them. First let’s start with the Calamari. I thought it was flavorful, not very hot-temp wise and such a small portion for $ 7.25(over-priced) Soft Shell Crab: I was so excited to find another place that served this. When I saw the order I scoffed. At $ 8.95 for the one very tiny crab I was highly disappointed. For some reason it was cut up as well. Probably to make it look more than it was. Not hot because it was chopped to pieces… Crab Rangoon was average and decent in size in relation to price. Curry Chicken with soup and white rise was pretty good. A lot of Veggie not much chicken. Over all I felt they were extremely tight on portions. These small items add up fast($$)

Do not try to eat in. You will be ignored until all phone orders are complete. We were going to dine in, but after waiting to be greeted for 15 minutes, thought it would be better to take out. The food was good. I got the red curry with tofu. The veggies were perfectly cooked. Great food, but next time will call in for pick up :)

So, I am glad to say that Sei Bar is better than it was the last time I had it. Since I usually order my food online for delivery and they required you to call in, they fell into the background somewhere. I noticed earlier that they now offer delivery on Foodler and Eat24. I decided to give them a shot for old time’s sake. I ordered a create-your-own dish that was called Spicy Peanut. I paid an extra $ 3.25 for shrimp, and I was glad to see there was a good amount on there. The food was lukewarm even though they are only about a mile from here, which was not a good thing, but it was tasty either way. I would have given them a 4, but there was nothing REMOTELY spicy about my food, even though I indicated I wanted it very spicy. I may order again, but I will have to somehow force them to read instructions and make my shit hot.

Good food, quick service for such a small staff, and reasonably priced. Menu is expansive and definitely touches on a nice range of Asian cuisine. Upset I haven’t found it sooner.

I’m giving this place 5 stars because it’s my favorite small Japanese restaurant. They have amazing lunch specials. Amazing sushi entrées. Amazing menu. They also have amazing service. Delivery is $ 1 but I give them a few dollars because of how awesome they are. Dine-in is the best experience. If you’re over 21, order their chilled sake with pineapples and plum. Thank me later

This is my go-to place whenever I’m craving Asian food. I love their Thai fried rice with chicken. They serve good portions and in reusable plastic containers, which I like instead of the usual paper boxes or foil trays, which tend to leak. So far, the best Thai in the area!

This place is great. Had an awesome experience here last week. Awesome Makis and great staff. I’ve done the takeout in the past with my girlfriend and we’ve never had any problems or issues. We honestly try to try something new every time we go! One day we’ll get through the menu haha

Came here on a whim and so glad we did! We ordered the Maki regular plate and shrimp pad thai. The miso soup came first, which was ok(I’ve had much better.) Then the sushi. This sushi was fantastic! Different than most sushi that I’ve tried; lots of tempura, even little bits like rice crispies. The pad thai was only ok. COMEHERFORSUSHI!!! Next time we’ll skip the pad thai and get the Maki deluxe plate!

As Malden and Everett are not exactly crawling with good Asian restaurants, I decided to take the plunge and try Sei Bar’s Pad Thai. It was the worst Pad Thai I have ever had. The noodles were overcooked, no egg, no chicken and the peanut sauce was like runny peanut butter. I also got Crab rangoon which were pretty good but on the basis of the Pad Thai I think I should have asked for my money back. If you can’t some edible Pad Thai, don’t put it on the menu!

So I have ordered from here in the past & wasnt in love, but after reading reviews on Unilocal I decided t try them again(plus the bf was out & he hates Thai so I figured might as well take advantage), Was tol 30 – 45 mins on the phone & the food was there in 15 minutes, right away I was excited, like WOOHOO Fast delivery… To start the Miso soup was just horrible(Im not a huge Miso fan but I have had much better) Thankfully I asked for Extra Peanut Sauce because most of the items needed it. We ordered: Veggie Tempua Appetizer — If sharing you might want to order 2. There was 1 Onion, 1 Broccoli — 2 little mushrooms… Wasnt that greasy, but the veggies really had no flavor(where p’nut sauce comes in), it was good, just wish we had more. Scallion/Ginger Shrimp — Now I have had this before at other locations & its my absolute Fave, maybe Im comparing too much but this was Wonderfully spicy just had a weird almost tomatoey taste… Great veggies & tons of shrimp — just couldnt get over the weird taste. Chicken Pad Thai — The chicken in it was great, cooked well, not dried out like most places, just the noodles were wet which is good, but the sauce was tasteless. Shrimp Spring Roll — Love them they are my fave, just not from here… They were crammed in a small container & when we tried to remove them, they were all stuck together causing all the rice paper to tear on all of them… Was it decent — Yeah… Would I order from there again, No… Its unfortunate, because they were there in 15 minutes & have a very extensive menu… Just doesnt seem to be worth the lack of flavor that I seem to want!
