Ehh, I have been to bisuteki a few times our most recent visit was very dissapointing. The resturant was freezing — the AC was blowing and it’s mid January! Everyone in the entire resturant was eating with their jackets on and the staff could careless, we requesting shutting it off more than once! It was so cold that the food instantly got cold! The chef was great, very entertaining but I didn’t like how the food comes out in waves so you have basically finished your rice before entrée is served. That was likely our last bisuteki experience.

We came here twice — typical hibachi — nothing special and a little overpriced for what you get. The staff was ok, again, nothing special and pretty much what you’d expect from a hotel restaurant — a transient clientele means you don’t give as much effort since they likely won’t be back soon enough to remember the experience. The room itself is of reasonable size and it did fill up quickly both times after we arrived. The quality of the food is good and both chefs were good. Just a good experience. My one major beef is how cold the restaurant is. I mean, I get that you are sitting inches away from a grill, but when the grill is off, it is uncomfortably cold. The other is the order in which they prepared the food. By the time the protein is cooked(at the end) the rest of my plate is cold because of how cold they keep the restaurant. We likely won;t be back as there are other superior hibachi places around.

Sent away because they were holding room for party of 75. My wife and I have for years have frequented the Revere location and make it a monthly visit. Well last night we arrived at 645 pm looking for a table for 2 and were rudely sent away because they said they were expecting a group flying in from Japan at 8:00pm. They kept refusing us entrance even though they were serving customers in the restaurant. Manager was rude and very stand-offish…when we asked for the owner again we were rebuffed. After mentioning to the front desk of hotel, we again were given no satisfaction. Looks like it time to travel back to the Cambridge location… actually they deserve NOSTARS

Saw 2 mice run across the floor while eating a filet. Never again. Please do not spend your money here.

We have been to Bisuteki several times and each experience has varied. The chef’s role is to entertain you while he cooks the food and undoubtedly there is great success at achieving this goal. However, there are times you are seated and order taken immediately and there are other occasions whereby you wait until the table is full. There seems to be no consistency with the seating arrangements… the food is okay. I have had sushi here albeit not the best but most people come here for the hibachi. It’s okay…

Big time waster! We went with four adults, a toddler and a baby. There were five more people at the opposite table. We were told that the hostess would wait another 20 minutes to see if two more people sat down to fill our table before the chef would even consider taking our order, at which point he had to prep the food. I know the food is prepped ahead of time, though, and I have been served in other hibachi places in a party of less than eight. Unless you feel like waiting around all night, or just want an excuse to fume about lack of common sense, give it a miss.

Update from my last review. It has been taken over by the Tokyo brand company. Still good. But not the same. Not everything tastes just like it was and food portions are definitely cut down a lot from what they were.

We had a great time. Waltzed in at 6 on a Friday, seated right away. Pino Grigio was fine, followed by light soup and salad to keep you busy until main course. I wish I’d gotten the fried rice, it looked great, but my scallops were perfect and more than enough. Chef was skilled and funny, everything was cooked perfectly. There were families with kids, but all the activity kept them entertained.

Tons of food for cheap! Delicious too. I always get the hibachi filet and it never disappoints. I noticed a bunch of bad reviews here and it makes no sense to me! I come here a few times a year and its always great!

Consistently good, not great, sushi and hibachi. The chefs are really funny and make the experience worth it. Also the Mai Tais are really strong which is a nice bonus. This is a good spot if you want to keep it local and stay out of Boston. Nothing super special or awful about it.

DONOTGOHERE! If I could give it 0 starts I would! I made reservation for 7 and was not seated until 9pm! I overheard one the parties table broke and their food was cooked in the back but still had to pay full price. You go here to be cooked in front of. Hostess was one of the rudest people I have EVER met. I wanted a nice date night but it turned horrible. Everyone was complaining. I wish they stuck with the old owners, they place used to be great but now its awful.

Let me start by saying their food is the best around the hibachi is excellent. What is lacking is customer service in spades received the bill for four people 144. Gave the waitress the groupon when we got the bill back she had tacked on 18 percent for her tip. I have no problem with tipping 20 percent most of the time but when they think they can force you and dupe you who do they think consumers are idiots. I always tipped the chief also. And that’s not the worst of it we still had forked in our mouths and they were taking the plates away. The whole meal was under 55 minutes talk about a conveyer belt had to beg for a refill of water let me say again service is terrible food is excellent?

I always have a good time going here. The chefs make it enjoyable for you with all the tricks they do and they interact wih you while you wait and while they are cooking it. The food is excellent and cooked well every time Ive gone. I usually get the chicken and shrimp with noodles. They do give you a ton of food plus the salad and soup. So you wont leave there hungry that’s for sure. I would say the food is pricey, but all hibachi places are so you kind of expect that. Its about $ 30 per person but you will definitely leave with leftovers. When I go, I ask for Michelle. She is a young woman server who is very polite and makes sure you are satisfied so ask for her!

I eat here when stuck at the hotel. I have the sushi most times and it is good, considering. For something different try the avacado salad.

Reasonable base prices, but they will nickel and dime you. I asked for extra veggies and they charged me $ 6; super disappointing.

Came here this evening with my husband and two young children. Yes we are a young couple(27) but we are both in the service industry and are far from«cheap». We go here often and always enjoy the food. Tonight when we got our check we noticed that the waitress had already included 18% gratuity. Not only is it illegal in MA to add gratuity to a party smaller than 6 but we were honestly a little insulted. On our way out we stopped by our waitress and asked her if they added gratuity to all of their parties and asked why she did that to us. All she could say was sorry and acted like she didn’t understand. Your loss. We ALWAYS tip above and then some. Goodbye bisuteki. We will take the ten minute ride up rt 1 to misono from now on!

I have come here a few times and each time has been a wonderful experience. The bartender Leo is witty and friendly. The restaurant staff makes you feel more than welcomed. I will continue to return here… Leo makes a great scorpion bowl!

I used to go here all the time, then it started it go downhill. Now they are under new ownership so my wife and I decided to give it another try. The food is actually pretty good. The sushi is nice and fresh. The hibachi is good and the chefs are friendly. The sauces and the salad dressing, although tasty, are loaded with onion. Beware. The major negative that dropped it a star is the reservation system. They book your reservation for a set time and then intentionally make you wait for 30+ minutes to get you to buy some extremely overpriced drinks at the bar($ 19 for 2 drinks). We almost left because of it. Luckily the food ended up being good enough to get us to go back again at some point.

I have fun at this place! They always treat my friend and I with respect, and always welcome us with a smile. The bartender across the way always takes care of us when we order drinks, and the cooks are fun! I enjoy hibachi a lot, and I am happy with the portions given. In fact, when I went there for my birthday a couple of months ago, the portions were overwhelming. YAY, leftovers for tomorrow… lol… If I have one complaint at all, and it is a small detail, but one that I always enjoyed, it is that they no longer give you a warm towel to clean your hands with anymore before the meal begins… Regardless, I still plan on returning…
