I have been eating here since I was like 5 years old, and have never gotten sick, a messed up order or anything. I love this place. Staffs really friendly and dumplings kick ass.

Terrible Thai Chicken Fried Rice, hardly had any chicken pieces even though it was a large order. Never going back to this place again.

Dragon Chef is far superior. For those that enjoy having their insides shredded apart for no apparent reason, then go here. Otherwise it’s just… Rough. Sorry Tasty Garden

I like this place. I have only ever sat in the bar and it was kind of «divey», but the bartenders are nice and the clientele are on the older side but sweet. The food is good and inexpensive and the drinks are very inexpensive. I would recommend this place for sure!

It was ok. The appetizers were fairly good, but either they screwed up the main dish or they make general tso’s like no place I have ever been to, we thought we got the wrong dish when we got home and opened it. Was expecting the usual broccoli with the chicken, and got tons of peppers, mushrooms, some leafy thing underneath and water chestnuts in with the chicken instead. Which we ate, it was all right but not what we really wanted. The dragon wings were the best part, they are pretty tasty.

So my husband and I were in the mood for chinese food and after much deliberation decided to order from here. The food came fairly quickly (about 30 min), but it was possibly the worst meal I’ve ever had. It was pretty much inedible and to tell you the truth, while we ordered sesame chicken and general tsao’s chicken, I can’t guarantee what the meat was in our order. I hardly ever write really bad reviews on Unilocal,but people need to know. Stay away from this place.

We have talked about going to Tasty Garden before and have just never made it plus there are a ton of similar restaurants around anyway right? Well we finally made it last night and am mad we didn’t try it sooner.
Everything was great about our trip. It was very slow when we got there but it was later in the day (8:30pm) and on a Wednesday. We were greeted and show to a booth right away. We were given menus, water and tea as we were seated. After a few minutes asked if we would like to order, placed our order and relaxed for a couple of minutes.
A very short time later our meals were brought to the table, we got the House Pu Pu for 2 and the house fried rice. Our server joked about not lighting the Sterno as it was hot out but if we would like it lit he would have.
Everything was great tasting and hot and the fried items all lightly crispy. I took a bite of the boneless spareribs and was pleasantly surprised at the taste, a little more of something but couldn’t quite tell was it was in the sauce but it made them very good.
Looking forward to our next meal there.

Decided to order take out and picked a fast food Chinese food restaurant near by. I ordered crispy fried noodle with stir fried vegetables. An order of scallion pancakes and a small lobster sauce. The crispy fried noodle was soggy and the stir fried vegetables has no flavor to it. The scallion pancakes have no special signature to it, but then again it taste and looks the same to me at every fast food Chinese spot. The lobster sauce however, was made very good. It wasn’t to thick and the sauce actually had flavor to it. To me personally, I have to be bedridden, snowed in, last option to order from again.

I am not sure why the other reviews are so low… or so high… lol. I mean they do not have the best Chinese food by far but they do have edible, decent, hot food that serves it’s purpose. I have thoroughly enjoyed everything i have had here. The servers are pretty friendly without being over the top… which I like. I don’t go very often but it is a nice place to just grab a bite… I would not take a hot date here or something.

I live in Everett, MA and my boyfriend LOVES chinese food. We decided to try Tasty Garden for something new. WHAT a disappointment! First when I called to place the order I spoke with one of the owner (according to another review), Anita. She was the rudest person I’ve ever placed an order with. First of all she didn’t want to let me use one of their online coupons because I could not print it off, keeping in mind that it was a generic home made coupon. I offered to write down the coupon word for word for her, she finally let me utilize the coupon on a «one time basis» stating that I was accessing an outdated website (I haven’t been able to find a different website for them). At the end of the call I asked how long it would be, after no response I asked, «30−40 minutes», Anita rudely answered «something like that, yea» like I was making her go out of her way.
And then the food wasn’t terrible, but also wasn’t tasty at all. The crab rangoons seemed like they came from a grocery store, the orange chicken was limp, and the chicken fingers were dry. All in all Anita won’t have to worry about me asking to use a coupon again.

We had a Key Club meeting here during high school. Have of the group refused to even touch the «food» and the half that did got sick. Avoid this place at all costs, unless of course, you like being ill.

Take out or Dine in. Catering for all Occasions Anita, Peter and Ma are the Proprietors and are always there.
This is a family run business and has been there for many years.
The food is great and the regular customers are treated like family.
I know this because I’m a regular customer.
They also have a Steak to die for and sell scratch tickets if you like them.
