Corn dogs are unbeatable. I like getting a chocolate-dipped cone on a hot day as well. Classic!

How have I never written a review for this place? It is part of my fast food staples. Chili dog on a pretzel bun and chilli cheese drys, that is where it is at. This place is cheap and has decent food. You are not coming here to eat healthy or have a fine dining experience. If you are, I have to laugh at you. I grew up in CA so we had these all around. I have lived in WA for over 20 years now and this is the only location in the state as far as I know. Service can be slow but they are working in a small area. They are usually friendly and my food has always been hot. They added tastee freeze with the remodel which is nice. I have had a sundae and dipped cone from that menu and both were good. There is really not enough room to sit inside and eat. There are outside tables for when it is nice out.

We have eaten at Wienerschnitzel at least 100 times over the years at this location, here in Everett. Today’s visit was definitely an eye-opener as it involved discrimination at the point of sale. After ordering five Coney dogs and the chili cheese fries at the drive-through window, Kayla D, the on duty Wienerschnitzel employee took it upon herself to Project her racist beliefs of the company. While I find weinerschnitzel’s menu items to be tasty for the most part, I can’t ignore the discriminatory practices in place by this business and its current management. Black customers are routinely asked to produce id when paying with credit card. Please note that both visa and MasterCard prohibit merchants from asking for cardholder id for a card present transaction and signed on the back. Again, this card was signed on the back, as required by visa. Although this type of Blatant discriminatory activity doesn’t occur as often as it did years ago, it’s continued existence amplifies the need for continued monitoring, training and investigation of this discriminatory practice. Here is an excerpt from the Visa card manual for merchants: When should you ask a cardholder for an official government ID? «Merchants cannot make an ID a condition of acceptance. Therefore, merchants cannot as part of their regular card acceptance procedures refuse to complete a purchase transaction because a cardholder refuses to provide ID. It is important that merchants understand that the requesting of a cardholder ID does not change the merchant’s liability for chargebacks. However, it can slow down a sale and annoy the customer. In some cases, it may even deter the use of the Visa card and result in the loss of a potential sale. Visa believes merchants should not ask for ID as part of their regular card acceptance procedures. Laws in several countries also make it illegal for merchants to write a cardholder’s personal information, such as an address or phone number, on a sales receipt .»

I knew of course that this would not be a 5 star dining experience… but hey every now and then you just need a chili or corn dog. The service itself was reasonably fast. The dining area outside is typical concrete style fast food restaurant seating. The tables were pretty much covered in dried on food debris. The unfortunate lady that asked to have a table cleaned was handed a wet towel and told to do it herself! The temperature of the chili-cheese fries was not even hot enough to melt the cheese when I opened the lid about a minute after receiving the order. I went back to the counter and told them it was cold. The reply was you’ve had it for over 10 minutes. No. I ordered it 10 minutes ago. Well I can only give you two(very small) scoops of chili to put on it was the reply. The owner/manager needs to cover customer service with the employees.

Pay attention to what they give you and make sure it’s hot. Their policy(apparently) is after ten minutes«of ordering» they won’t give you a hot one. Tables were no where clean, full of dried food. Got what I paid for and nothing more.

Was excited to try this, especially for the Tastee Freez. First time, cone dipped in caramel was awesome. Yesterday — it was awful with no flavor and grainy. Small cone for the«regular» price. Been here several times and mostly what you get is rude people taking your order at the drive-up. Time before yesterday, we were told to HOLDON — when trying to ask a question and when we finally ordered and drove around — there was no acknowledgement for about 3 minutes — so we went elsewhere. Don’t know what it was like before but if it used to be good — it is not now. We will go down the street for ice cream and will go elsewhere for hot dogs and hamburgers. Oh, and the website for Wienerschnitzel says they serve breakfast — a biscuit. This place doesn’t as we found out recently. Forget it…

Sitting in the drive through right now! Pros: tasty dogs, one of the ONLY fast food places weiner lovers can buy their fave in the Northwest, lots to choose from, PLUS they now serve Tastee Freez ice cream. Yum! Cons: not very fast-had time to finish review while waiting, can be heavy handed with the ketchup and mustard, better off asking for your own little packets, very few locations(I only know of one), parking in relation to drive through is wonky for those of us that would like to order and park to eat our lunches.

OMG, OMG, OMG… FINALLY!!! Tastee Freez is NOWHERE!!! They have remodeled, read a nice article in the Everett Herald, so we made the trek from Shoreline… sooooooo glad we did! I wrote about the other Wienerschnitzel in Marysville many moons ago, I warned folks up there and nobody listened, and sadly they closed up shop… SOBEWARNED, if you want Tastee Freez GETINHERENOW!!! And talk to the hand about DQ… that is all. Lastly, they now actually have a drive through window and ordering station, no longer have to wait for someone to come out of the little yellow hunt… OMG, I’m doing the *happy dance*…

I always liked this location. Ordered the pretzel dog with cheddar and a large fry. Dining in here means eating at the counter or a table outside. Being that this is the Puget Sound I don’t imagine those tables are used much.

Being from San Diego we have these all around us! I made my husband drive an hour just so I could get a chili dog from here! And it was so worth it. The service was great and friendly even when my husband pulled a joke on the cashier!(He said«can I please get 3 number 8’s, wife is pregnant» he laughed and asked if that’s really what we want.) having to wait for them to bring your food to you is a nice touch. I really enjoyed that one and one customer service! If I can convince my husband to drive the hour again we will for sure be coming back!

First time stopping at Everett’s classic Wienerschnitzel(Store 256, built in 1970), and I am disappointed. The food was great, hot, fresh, super tasty. The four ladies working in the store were friendly, and quickly got our food out. We had two Chili-Cheese Dogs with Onions are($ 1.99 each, free onions, Yea!), a Chili-Cheese Dog($ 1.99), and a Corn Dog($ 1.39), which was golden and crispy perfection-on-a-stick. DERlicious! Classic American Five-Star Fast Food, but I am docking you Two Stars for the abysmal appearance of the building. The iconic yellow roof is dirty, mildewed and appears to have not been painted in years. The whole store desperately needs freshening. It appears the franchise owner hasn’t invested in this store in decades, and it shows! I wouldn’t bring the family back here.

Had my first hotdog from there the other day. It had Bacon. The bun was disappointing. Was like the kind you get from the grocery store to use with an oscar Myer cheese filled dog. The bacon honestly saved the dog. Maybe had I ordered it with the pretzel bun would it had been bomb. But either way, 2 dogs, large curly fry and two drinks for under $ 12? A price that can’t be beat now a days. Service was good. Shift leader/manager brought our food outside. Will I go back? If I’m in the area, sure!

Um hello, biggest hot dog chain… hell YES I’m a fan. It might not be high quality food but it’s consistently good and I’m a sucker for a big ass chili dog!

We were driving up to Bellingham for a wedding and came upon this Wienerschnitzel. Just fabulous — chili dog and hot dog were great, fries were okay, lemonade. It’s an old school A-frame building, good cheap food. Staff was pleasant, service pretty fast.

These guys are great, always quick to fill your order. Corn dogs, hot dogs, and pastrami sandwiches to go or eat on site. Just add mustard:]

This location just doesn’t stack up with the rest of the organization. No Fry sauce, No Italian Sausage, No real seating. My wife and I went on a Friday night around 9pm or so and it was sort of a bland experience. The Pretzel buns were awesome, the Chili Dogs were great, the Corn Dogs were just ok. We had freshly cooked fries, so they were as good as they could be, but nothing spectacular. Service lacked enthusiasm and friendliness. All in all, I wouldn’t make a special trip to go here. If I’m in the Everett area AND I’m not in the mood for Blazing Onion, then MAYBE I’d go back.

Everyone who has been to the Der knows that its the best food in the world. Better than any 5 star restaurant. They could charge three times as much and I would still splurge. Decent prices, I recommend any variation of the chili burgers. Don’t forget the chili cheese fries.
