Jake is the ONLY person here with ANY knowledge on wood-​burning stoves and gas fireplaces. He is knowledgeable. However, he is also an-​ex-​marine, «Semper Fi» class A PSYCHO. And his wife, Gram-​Maw, spends a couple of Saturdays a month sitting around knitting doilies and contributing nothing, other than the $ that it took to buy this place from the former super-​sketchy owner.
BTW– DO NOT BUY A PELLET STOVE! I have owned TWO pellet stoves, and they were somewhat effective… supplemental heating devices. HOWEVER: Pellets had DOUBLED in price in ONE YEAR back in 2006 or so, from $ 3 a bag @ Home Depot, to over $ 6 for a 40 lb bag. TOO EXPENSIVE! Also, you do burn electricity to run the 3 motors that typ run these units: One intake fan, one exhaust fan, and the auger motor. And last– pellet stoves need to be cleaned DAILY if you use them daily. TOO $PENDY and too much fugging around.
This place had one good sales guy back in about 2008, for a while. He really knew his shidd, and helped me a lot when I bought a gas FP unit. But The Psycho probably got to him… so he left. I have seen females hanging about the sales showroom, but they didin’t know shidd about anything. Just hand you some brochures and take your # for Gram-​Maw or Jakey-​Wakey, the Semper Fi ONCE A MARINE ALWAYS A MARINE! GUY!

My wife and I walked in without a clue in the world about wood stoves, but we walked out feeling like experts. Without ever pressuring us to make a sale, Jake patiently walked us through all of our options, helping us decide which features were right for us. Eventually, we selected a stove and have it scheduled for installation soon. Will update once we’re up and running, but so far we couldn’t be happier with the experience.

Friendly, knowledgeable and honest.
We recently had to install a Wood Burning Insert for our fireplace. We had planned to stop in here first then price shop at the other fireplace businesses in the area. Well we didn’t get far. :o)
Being from Hawaii, fireplaces and fireplace inserts are all new to us. The salesperson spent 45 minutes with us answering questions and helping us figure out what insert would work best for us. We brought the dimensions for our fireplace, so he was able to get a good idea which fireplaces might work.
Their prices are reasonable. Everyone that we came into contact with was knowledgeable. The installation was quick.
We enjoyed doing business with them and they have earned a loyal customer.
