Friendly staff, rustic and cozy atmosphere, and great menu. Good place to grab a bite to eat or to camp out at with a book or work. We will definitely be back!

I’ve come to the Muddy Buck twice now and both times have been quite pleasant. Most recently after a couple hours of ice skating myself, the BF, Carrie J, and her husband all decided that we needed a warm cup of something tasty. Though, ironically, three of the four of us chose iced beverages! Go figure. Even though they seemed to have quite the full house we got our drinks in under 10 minutes. I chose a simple iced vanilla latte and my BF had an iced mocha. Both were delicious and consumed within fifteen minutes. Carrie J had a hot chocolate and her husband had an iced tea. I love the mixed assortment of tables and chairs they use. I also just love that they kept the check in windows of the Old Evergreen Hotel as a partition wall for one of the seating areas. It really adds to the warm and quaint feel of the seating area. Chalkboard menus with ornate frames? Yeah they do that too. Great atmosphere to get you caffeine fix! If I lived a bit closer, I would love to come here and cozy up with a good book for a couple hours.

After ordering a chicken Cobb wrap and being told it’d be a 20 minute wait for a to go order, I took my first 3 bites to find that there was no chicken in the«chicken Cobb wrap.»

Stopped in for breakfast on a lazy Sunday. Think of this as a small café that serves up some great coffee and matches it with great food. Bonus: being able to sit outside on main street evergreen taking in the sights and sounds along the boardwalk with the dog. Breakfast burrito is the goto menu item, grilled in a panini press

The Muddy Buck is a great place to have coffee or lunch. Lots of gluten free options and great, friendly service. The building has lots of history and charm. It is also a great music venue during the evening hours. The Muddy buck is a great place to enjoy downtown Evergreen and soak up the mountain ambiance. Definitely a must visit in Evergreen.

Great place! The staff is friendly and the open mic on Thursdays is the best one around with a decent crowd and many talents. Their coffee and food is really good and the bar has a good selection of Colorado craft beers. They also have live music every Friday with no cover which is great!

Come check out this town and when you do, stop in for a very good coffee with super nice folks serving it. By the way the scone that we got was super good too. Should have gotten a few and brought them home!

Decent cinnamon role, not the biggest breakfast selection, but not busy, so surprised service was slow. Maybe better to try it in evenings when it’s a bar.

This little place was amazing! My wife and I were making a day trip into the mountains and found this gem! Everything we ordered was PERFECT! If you’re hungry and you love food or coffee stop here. We met the owner and she is exactly the type of person we expected to meet running such a great place in a fun mountain town like Evergreen. My wife said, «oh my that is the best sandwich I have ever tasted!» About the muffuletta sandwich. The portions were truly to die for! Great to share or take home leftovers! Go here seriously!

We picked up lunch for the office here this week and can’t wait to come back! The sandwiches are SO good! Huge too! Giant delicious, round sandwiches on herb flavored, amazing bread! Reminds me a lot of Schlotsky’s sandwiches and you can’t find that in Colorado, that I know of…

Let’s get one thing straight. If you want fast go to McDonalds. This place is awesome. Their drip coffee is way better than starbucks. Their breakfast burritos are incredible and reasonably priced. They have live music on Fridays that starts at 6:00 p.m. I come up here from Littleton every chance I get. I come with my wife and kids, I come to the Muddy Buck with my friends. I’ve stopped in here with 15 scooter riders unannounced for a meal. They are cooking in an area smaller than a closet. The food is always awesome. I don’t mind sitting and visiting with my friends while my food is being prepared. Yeah, Muddy Buck.

This place is not worth your time. The food is very good and the ambiance soothes me. However, it takes forever. Sad. It’s the center of the commerce of Evergreen, makes it even more pathetic. They have like 2 girls cooking on 2 electric griddles, it was just my mom and my dad and I and nobody else in the restaurant and it took 45 minutes for our 3 breakfast burritos. Not to mention their incredibly lack of menu diversity, like 10 options tops. Also much more expensive than the Unilocal says. Maybe I’m being too harsh. I just think it’s greatly overrated. Go try it and come back and rate it

Their cinnamon rolls are amazing and HUGE! I normally get the mini one. I ate lunch there the other day and did not care for it.(tuna wrap with potato salad). The wrap isn’t wrapped in a way that makes eating it easy(see picture) it kept falling apart. The tuna was also not great(I like albacore tuna). Potato salad was good though. I think I’ll stick to their cinnamon rolls I still LOVE the place.

Awesome atmosphere and décor in this little mountain café. Great iced tea and coffee. Staff was courteous and prompt. The best part was the seating and tables. Benches, worn in leather chairs, cozy wingback chairs, etc… Every table and chairs was arranged like a private little spot and there is something for everyone.

So good! Beyond satisfying! My wife is a connoisseur of tuna melts and she was very happy! I got the quesadilla and was in heaven! I couldn’t finish it! The coffee was great! The staff was friendly! It smells like heaven!

I adore this place; decent coffee and the cinnamon rolls are de-li-cious. Had several sandwiches there and they are really good. But the best part is the location and the style of the place. It has a cozy side room with a stone wall, and all I want to do is curl up with a good book and get lost in that little room. The place smells like it has a rich history. Wood everything with a hint of coffee and cinnamon. Great little place in sweet little Evergreen.

Cute little place. Friendly staff. I was pretty hungry after a hike and wanted to warm up. I ordered a green tea and a chicken quesadilla. The quesadilla looked fantastic! But once I bit into it, I didn’t taste anything. There were huge chunks of chicken breast, slices of green chiles, cheese, and bacon. I was really disappointed. Maybe the chicken needs to be marinated, and add more chiles. It came with salsa, very mild, guacomole, eh, and sour cream. And the portions are huge. There is plenty of seating, couches, high top chairs and tables. The bathroom was clean with an old school type toilet. They also have live music some nights.

Mediocre coffee and food. I have no idea how it got this rating. Eggs bacon toast and hash browns. Pretty simple but bad all except hash browns which they forgot. No knives. Grape jelly only choice for your toast. No butter. Only one salt and pepper shaker in the house taken from me for another customer before I had used it. Seriously I could cook a better breakfast when I was 10. Do yourself a favor and get gas station coffee.
