I am in an abusive relationship with mama floras. I love the food here, it’s wonderful! I usually order from here for lunch during the week. On the phone they say it will be 45 minutes but it usually turns out to be an hour or more. By the time the food gets to my job it’s luke warm or cold. I usually have to reheat my food which sucks if I order fries or pizza. The food is good, the only problem is delivery and by the time you get your food it’s cold.

The pizza is decent, and good for Ewing, but a 20 minute drive will find you better pizza. I like the Sicilian pizza, and it’s our local go-to spot for quick Za. Very friendly staff, and I’ve only had pizza, so I can’t talk to any other food they have!

Great place for friday night pizza. So far its my favorite in the area. The taste is great. Dough is not too crispy and tastes great. Cheese and sauce is balanced. No spiciness with the sauce either. Cheese is not overly salty but is a tiny bit oily. I just annihilated 5 slices so I will be back. The guy I spoke with was extremely friendly which tells me they care about what they do.

Nice little sub shop in Ewing. Found them on Grub-hub and ordered the Philly Cheese-steak. I also ordered the garlic wings. They were a little greasy(the bag had a river of grease coming from the box unto the bag). Delivery was quick but did not provide a receipt.

I placed my order on their cite. You can only pay online which was a little inconvenient because I wanted to pay in cash but whatever. Then the food came on time but my jalapeño poppers were just alright and came with a marinara sauce which made no sense to me. The caesar dressing was sweet I’m not used to that. The pizza was good. The veal parmigiana was pretty good. BUT what rubbed me the wrong way was the $ 6 I paid for the TINIEST slice of their raspberry cake which wasn’t really worth it. Guess I should’ve gotten the tiramisu. I probably won’t order from them anymore. It got the job done but I expected better.

I am not sure why the pizza gets raves from here. I find the crust to be very bland and the toppings to be adequate. The pizza gets 1 star compared to the other great pizza in the neighborhood like palermos, pete’s, and Danny’s. Their dinner entrees on the other hand are excellent. I love their chicken and eggplant parm entrees. The sandwiches are good! The bread they serve with dinner is absolutely wonderful. The owner is always happy and greets people. Come for the entrees, pizza doesn’t work for me.

Wow! I wasn’t expecting much from this strip mall restaurant. Much to my surprise, the food was excellent. The chicken Caesar salad was fresh and delicious. The bruschetta was full of flavor and satisfying. The Bianca pizza was the perfect balance of ricotta, broccoli and garlic, with a perfect crust. The portions were large and the service was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

The staff is wonderful and friendly, which is one of my favorite Italian pizzerias. I’m a huge pasta lover, everything is always made fresh. Very clean and beautiful inside as well.

Let’s start at he beginning. Walk in and the owner is on the phone taking orders while we and others stand waiting to be seated. He finally speaks to us and says«we probably have a table for you. As we are looking at empty tables to our right. Took 45 minutes to get our food. The waiter handled all the silverware including the tines right in front of us. Who has this much time to wait to food of his caliber – strip mall Italian.

So I ordered take out from here for the first time a few days ago. I originally tried using the online ordering system, but for some reason it wouldn’t let me place the order. I called, and the man who answered, Gary(not sure if he’s the manager or owner.?) said they don’t deliver to my street. This place is only about 3 miles from the house but when I punched it into my gps I realized it’s actually a 16 minute drive! Gary was super nice and took 10% off my bill because I drive so far to get there. Made my day. As for the food: Appetizer sampler — fried calamari, fried crab-stuffed mushrooms, fried mozzarella, and fried artichokes. Yes, it was a lot of fried food. Yes, I felt guilty after eating it. This came with marinara sauce and some sort of tomato-butter-garlic sauce(which was fantastic). The mushrooms and artichokes were definitely a favorite. I also got the chicken amari, which consisted of a big slab of chicken surrounded by pasta, roasted red peppers, artichokes, and mushrooms. The sauce was really good, apparently its a brandy based sauce. Quite tasty! I think it would have looked more presentable if the chicken was cut up and mixed in, but that’s just me being picky ;) And finally, I had ordered a spinach/broccoli/chicken calzone that I had for dinner the following day. I crisped it up in the oven and it turned out great. Their marinara sauce isn’t the most flavorful I’ve had, and I’m honestly not a fan, but the calzone was awesome by itself. Their dough was flaky, crunchy, and flavorful, even after being put in the fridge and then reheated. I’m definitely interested in trying more of their dishes!

Really great service. We were stuck at the airport and ordered a large pizza. We enjoyed every ounce of it. Although the crust was Okay. We had a half supreme and half white. I wouldn’t order the white Ever again from them but the supreme was great! Awesome service, Nice people. Made our delayed flight much more tolerable!

This review is based on at least 20 eat-in and takeout experiences at Mamma Flora’s. This place is downright fabulous! We’ve had pizza, eggplant parmigiana, pasta, chicken dishes, hot and cold subs and hamburgers here and everything was great! The service has always been excellent. The wait and counter staff started recognizing us after having been here only a few times and they always treat us well.

Just ordered delivery from Mamma’s and it was great! I actually ordered it with Unilocal, which was a first for me. It took about 35 – 40 minutes from placing my order to having the pizza delivered, not too bad! The pizza was delicious and with only a $ 1 delivery fee — we will be ordereding from here again!

In town on business, ordered delivery and for 24.00 got a pizza that was burnt black on the crust and raw in the middle. Any place that lets that pizza go out just doesn’t care about their customers. Sad.

I had take out pizzas(Lg pepperoni and Sm white clam) from this place tonight. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their pizzas. The white clam pie was as good as that of legendary De Lorenzo’s. I personally prefer a thinner and crunchier crust, but it was very tasty! The pepperoni pie was as good as any in the area — there wasn’t a «wow!» factor. I will definitely go back here for the white clam pie! Highly recommended!

Mamma Flora’s is the most solid pizza that delivers in the Ewing/Lawrenceville area. Also, their salads are lovely — generous, with nice quality romaine and dressings that seem to be house made. The pies are thin crust, Trenton-style. To be honest, slightly lacking the character/panache of DeLo’s or Papas,(not to mention the char), but otherwise it is so far superior to other pizzerias in these neighborhoods that it’s not even a fight. Mamma Flora’s wins. They deliver to all of Ewing, and Lawrenceville south of I-95. Would they venture north to the village? Ask them(my gut tells me they would). Go simple on the pies — tomato pie, sausage or pepperoni. The caesar salad is lovely, and their entrees are delicious. If you want your food brought to you and you’re in this area, you need to call Mamma Flora’s.
