I drive by here about once a month on Friday evenings on my way out of town and this place is always very busy so i knew i had to try it. Just so happens one night on my way to line dance, a friend suggested it. It was everything i expected. I got a pasta dinner dish the waitress suggested and the portion was large and great price. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. Definitely making this place a regular!

Burgers beer and Brady Cornerstone Pub is a local bar and pub type restaurant that is relatively new. Lots of other local bar and pub type restaurants have been in this location over the years and most have been pretty similar. The Cornerstone Pub definitely has a sports bar feel to it with lots of TVs placed around the bar and even a large screen projection thing in the large room area. In addition there are lots of photographs of New England sports personalities, teams and stadiums. Of course the Red Sox, Celtic, Bruins and Patriot games are always featured when they are on. The food is the pretty standard pubby type but is quite good. The burgers are a huge step above places like Five Guys and the bar offers a large selection of both domestic and foreign beers. A cool place to go to eat a burger, drink a beer, or watch the Patriots win another Super Bowl. It does get pretty crowded on weekends but it’s usually a pretty mellow group of local people. A pleasant restaurant to seek out when in the area.

We went in on a packed Friday night but only waited about 10 minutes. Mussels were amazing and so was the rest of our food. Service was quick. The place is a little loud but it is a sports bar so it was expected.

Another good local pub! It has changed a lot in a few years but this version has stuck. If you want good quality grub with a friendly staff and fair prices then Cornerstone Pub is the place. Great for going with buds to watch NFL, great spot for a first date for dinner too. I’ve been there many times and always enjoyed the experience.

Nice atmosphere, felt very welcome for never being here before. Beer was nice and cold, food was bomb. I got the mahi tacos and my girl got the chicken fajitas… I would have given 5 stars but the only thing I didn’t like was that our meal came out about 10 minute away from one another.

I had a hard time deciding whether to give 2 stars or 3 stars. I went with the 3 because the rest of the meal was pretty good. We went for lunch on a Friday and it was pretty quiet. We sat in the bar at a table and it was fine. The bartender/server was friendly if a bit slow about coming to get our orders and the check. We had asked for a few extra minutes and she came back we still weren’t ready — but then she forgot about us, or felt she shouldn’t come over — but we hadn’t seen each other in a while and needed 15 minutes to decide. We ordered the Mandarin salad chicken salad, a garden salad with grilled buffalo chicken, and I ordered a Greek salad with steak after reading a few other Unilocal reviews. It took about 20 minutes to get our food, and the salads were good sized and fresh. My Greek salad had kalamata olives, black olives, peperoncini, red onion, feta, chopped cucumber with the skin on(which I don’t care for) and Greek dressing. All good. Then I looked at the steak. I had ordered it medium rare and it was mostly that(in the middle, not the ends), but the cut of meat was small and very tough. The salads ranged from $ 7.99– $ 8.99 plus more if you added chicken or shrimp or steak. My salad was $ 8.99 plus $ 6.99 for the steak. Total $ 15.99 — Wow. For that cost I expected a really great piece of meat — not so large but a really good quality. No. I ended up leaving the ends of the FOUR slices of steak. We were there 1 ½ hours from start to finish so I didn’t send it back. I would go again if I were in the area — but definitely would NOT order the steak there. There are many other options, so go with those.

More sports bar than pub. Seemed like a great place to watch a game. Salmon was delicious, buffalo chicken dip was fun but not hot(spicy) at all and a little too rich. Carolina BBQ wings were cooked perfectly(not dry scrawny overcooked) but not enough flavor. Service was a bit slow but not horrible. Good enough for a stop for bar food.

Delicious! Glad we stopped after reading other reviews. Food was great and so was service! Hamburgers are ½ lb — and you can get them prepared any way you want. Fries are steak fries — yum!

Cornerstone is a GREAT restaurant that just so happens to also be an awesome sports bar. My wife ordered one of the specials this week, jambalaya with a red snapper filet on top. This dish would have been a great entrée if served in a café in New Orleans, over the top for a sports bar in Exeter RI. Burgers, sandwiches, wings, nachos all great and expected for a good bar but the entrees at this place go way beyond typical bar fare. Nice selection of draft beers, always COLD and having been to Cornerstone probably a half dozen times over the last year, I have yet to encounter an employee who was not friendly and attentive. Lots to like about this place and even though it is a bar there is enough table seating for families with children.

In the middle of nowhere, but worth the trip. Fish was pretty good, although the baked potato was very dry. Seemed to have a good selection of hamburgers, and service was quite good.

Love having this place so close to home! Jane is our favorite bartender in all of Richmond, Exeter & coventry! They’ve had great dinner specials, good live music and great tv’s for watching the games! I’ve won on keno there too! The atmosphere is comfortable and they keep the place clean! Lots of parking. Also great Martinis, good wines & iced cold beer!!!

One of the best resturants I have ever been too. Not being from the area but on the way back from foxwoods we Unilocaled and found this gem. Great menu and GREATFOOD! Steak was cooked perfectly and the BBQCOMBO was good. Only thing I would have to say tht I didn’t really like their BBQ sauce. It was more on the tangy side than the sweet and I prefer sweet but if you like tangy you will love it. Also got the sweet chili ribs instated of BBQ. I didn’t even know these could exist. Like heaven on a plate! Also get the green bean fries if avail, it was a special. Our waitress kristen was awesome. Very attentive and fulfilled our requests.

In terms of bars in Exeter, this is the peak of the mountain, folks! To keep it brief, Cornerstone is a way above average sports type bar with a really great menu and good quality grub. The wife and I have come here a few times during the past football season and really enjoyed ourselves. For starters; the food is top notch — from the sandwiches, to the appetizers, to the wings, to the build your own pizza; everything we have tried so far has been great. The eye opener for me was when my wife ordered the steak salad(something I would never order at a local pub) and she was raving that the salad was steak house quality with perfectly cooked, tender steak. Service and vibe were a resounding A+; our servers were always on top of us and were quick to refill our water and drinks when they ran low and even provided us with wet naps a few times during the course of gorging on their tasty wings! On game days, the vibe was fun — mostly locals, but no obnoxious drunk or loud people, just a bunch of local folks looking to munch of delicious pub food and have a few adult beverages. One of my favorites in this neck of the woods, hoping to catch some live music one of these weekend nights!

Good pub fare, but with one waitress and a couple of larger parties it was a bit slow on the service side of things. However the other staff members did step up to help bring drinks and clear plates. So kudos there. We split the nachos and we were full after those and powered on. The fries were awesome and my Reuben was delicious. One of my party had a BBQ pizza and said it was really good. We will return, but do wish they had a few more vegetarian options…

Well, visited the cornerstone again, and have to say I was pleasantly surprised. This visit I enjoyed the lamb special which was spiced nicely and cooked perfect . Quite a change from last months dinner. The place is very lively and full of local flavor! Remember this is a good stop if in the area and staff is friendly and attentive.

I’m just finishing my last game of keno and I figured I would write up a quick review. My girlfriend and I just split an order of garlic Parmesan tenders and an appetizer of buffalo chicken dip. The food and service was incredible. I would recommend this place to even the pickiest of eaters. Te food is clearly fresh and made to order. No frozen foods here! It’s a fun place out in the woods with a great atmosphere. The crowd here ranges from quiet older couples to a group of single guys in the mid 20s having a beer. Oh and before I forget, there isn’t a single place to sit that is not in full view of a TV screen. It’s just great.

At a glance: very clean, family friendly, excellent food, great service & good prices! The buffalo wings were the best wings I’ve had– crispy, tangy hot sauce. The blue cheese dressing was a disappointment. Such an amazing wing deserves homemade buttermilk blue cheese dressing. We had the Greek salad, chili and linguine with meatballs– all very good. But again, not homemade Greek dressing. I know the chef and owner could totally step it up and make excellent homemade dressings. Come on! Great beer selection. Kind, attentive service. Lord of the Rings on the TV as well as Red Sox baseball and a great selection of music playing(not too loudly): Johnny Cash, Joni Mitchell and assorted alternative rock. So cool. We have always needed a place like this between our home in NYC and our vacation spot in Cape Cod and now we found it!
