There is a whole lot of quality items here, Their main focus is that everything is made by local artisans, either from New Hampshire or New England. There were a lot of interesting items including cookware, wine accessories, candles, home made cards and toys, jewelry and clothing a host of other things. They are on the pricey side, but it is certainly worth a stop if you’re looking for that special item for someone and and want to shop small and local.

I’ve bought many nice presents here over the years, jewelry, prints, glassware, etc. Also took a few watercolor classes, and my daughter took some pottery classes there before they changed names. Nice view of the Squamscott River out the back windows.

If you’re looking to buy jewelry that doesn’t look like it came from the mall, this place is worth a shot. Fancy cutting boards & all kinds of other artsy stuff is here. I’ve always found the staff to be helpful, but I’m not young. Several years ago, they used to be «The League of NH Craftsmen» or something like that. I haven’t noticed a big change other than the name.

Really neat and unique gifts. Everything in there is hand crafted by master artisans, so this is not a place for purchasing cheap gifts, but the cost is worth it. The sales staff can be aloof — especially if you’re young — but the owner was once went out of her way to help me track down an artist that they deal with to make a special gift for my husband.
