One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever eaten in, food is authentic and wholesome. Phenomenal dosas. Often a line out the door. Gets so busy they can’t do take out

Too bad there is no option for negative stars … The guy managing this place tonight is so unwilling and unhelpful. I just wanted some take out from the buffet since the full menu was not available for take out food — except for 3 apparent items. I politely asked many times. I get there are rules for take out, but not for being an asshole. Guess he doesn’t care because his place is always packed, but his customer service is sub sub par. Check this off my list. Edited below — Response to owner I can’t believe you turned this around on a customer to be honest, for a small request. I politely asked numerous times if I can get some food for my husband who could not join me, due to limited options on the menu to be ordered. I honestly have never seen the kind of response I got from your staff. Infact the individual was impolite, and lacked any kind of friendliness or display of good customer service. This is the first time I have had to put a review on a staff — it’s typically about food. Hopefully you guys figure out the value of helping a customer vs. making it appear like it was their fault.

Here’s what you need to know: South Indian food haven — excellent food that is fresh and flavor packed. Great, polite service to accompany it. This restaurant is famous for its Indian, vegetarian catering services and it is no surprise that it primarily focuses on its buffet offering. The food is authentic in its taste, does not overwhelm you with spices or low quality cooking oil, and offers a terrific variety of dishes. The appetizers, entrees, accompaniments, and desserts are all well prepared, and dosas are brought fresh to your table(included in the price of the buffet). The restaurant is very basic in its appearance and décor, but the service is friendly and efficient. Overall, a good value and excellent taste for South Indian vegetarian fare. Each buffet was $ 15.

Awesome South Indian food replica Joint We were looking for vegan food and we thought giving it a shot. Food was great we ordered plain dosa; idly vada combo, bisibelle baath and aloo — paratha spare the parathas everything else was so south indian we were reminded of chennai, the soft idlies the bisibelle bath and the sambar. All yumm. Reasonably priced too. The paratha was probably a wrong pick very doughy and cold. For a proper south indian feel you can drop by this place any time. We will

This review is for its lunch buffet on a working day. I never visit vegetarian restaurants in the US after couple of bad experiences. I visited vegetarian restaurant after a long gap. It brought memories of food back in india. The best — rasam, vada, all the sweets. The rest are good and better than all restaurants here. Good job guys. Never compromise on quality! Best authentic South Indian vegetarian food :)

The best 100% vegetarian restaurant in the surroundings. Always full of customers. Food is decent. There are a few exceptions in the menu though like pav bhaji, aloo paratha/paneer paratha, which are almost always dry and tasteless. Definitely recommended.

Wow! Wish I could give it 10 stars! Had dinner buffet on Sat night and this is the best South Indian food I have had in the US. I think this is like 10x better than Saravana Bhavan, and I was not expecting it to be this good… out in the middle of PA, nonetheless. Plus, Chef Thiru cooks better than Royal Sweets in Irving and better than Masalaa in Aurora and better than Annapurna/Udupi Palace on Devon. Try it! Dinner buffet Thurs-Sun, but lunch everyday.(call to confirm dinnner buffet since I might have it wrong by one day)

A vegetarian Indian buffet? What a treat. We arrived just after 6:00pm on a Saturday night. The food was fresh and there was plenty of variety. I really loaded up my plate! The buffet included two dosas(one for each of us), which were delicious(especially dipped in some of the chutneys!). I wish I could list all of the dishes we tried, but I can’t remember them all! I’ll definitely be going back in the near future. I wish that the food had a bit more of a kick(I typically like a medium — high level of spice in my Indian food). Other than that, no complaints!

Love this lunch to the point of obsession. Always something new and complex and flavorful to try. Seems authentic based on my less-than-authentic knowledge.

If you are in Exton, Devi is a must try. It has the very BEST South Indian food. I highly, highly recommend. I have been going here for years and the quality of food never ceases to amaze me. The staff is extremely friendly too; a special thank you to Dipika, who made my experience even better this afternoon. Kudos, Devi! May you have many more successful years in your future.

I came for the Sunday buffet, which was really great. Lots of choice, including pretty evenly split variety between North and South Indian. While of course the emphasis was on the South Indian food, with several different kinds of idlis and four – four! – distinct types of pongal, I thought that their paneer tikka masala was top-notch as well. The service was fabulous: a waiter with an iPad promptly visited every table to take dosa orders, which emerged from the kitchen in minutes. My paper masala dosa was pretty average(quite greasy with less masala than I expected), it really complemented the rest of the buffet. The only drawback for me was the price: at $ 16, the buffet isn’t a terrific bargain. However, it was very enjoyable, and overall a great brunch.

One of the best Indian buffets. Great service. All vegetarian, great selection of appetizers, entrees, desserts, and even masala tea(first time ever I had seen that item on a buffet).

My all time favorite place to have Indian food. When I used to live in West Chester, I would come here almost every week! Whenever I’m in the area, I always make a point to stop by. When I go for lunch, they usually did buffet style. They also gave a large crêpe to go with your buffet. The crêpe was crispy and light on the outside. Towards the center, the inside was filled with veggies and potatoes(aka yummy goodness)!! They’re food is spicy to perfection. This place is vegetarian so don’t expect to see any meat! Still definitely worth coming and trying out some authentic Indian food.(I felt it was authentic because whenever I was there, I was surrounded by Indian families that had their parents and children dining). I am never disappointed when I come here. The people are friendly too! The décor is nothing special but the food is superb! **Disclaimer– the last time I ate here was ~6mo ago so not sure if everything still holds true, fyi**

This is one of my favorite restaurants since I moved here to Philadelphia… Vegetarian food with tons of options. Authentic south Indian food! Only issue is that there are only 2 sweet options. Icecream is default… But I only come here for the rasam and dosas! Keep up the good work!

Best Vegetarian restaurant in the area. Friendly and warm staff. Only down side is its always busy and need to wait for a long time to get in over the weekend. Can’t help it as there are probably a lot of people who love it :) Like their facebook page for amazing pictures to make you want to visit this place more often.

If u wish to taste South Indian foods around the city then Devi would be the best fit. You will be delighted if u r vegetarian. Good service and standards r maintained throughout the buffet. :) it’s worth for money. Weekdays it’s $ 11 for buffet and on weekends it’s $ 15. A good place to dine with friends and family.:)
