Great customer service by the cook and the cashier today. The cooks are fast and spot on and they deserve some credit. The food is always amazing. My favorite food is the Spaghetti with Meatballs along with the bacon pizza. Also the deliver service is alway great with the food always hot. Just in general great place.

So I’m updating my review for Ness and bumping it up a star after eating here many more times. Their pizza is a very good thin crust. Some pies might be made with an extremely thin crust which may become more cracker like upon baking. It happens though, I’d still prefer a super thin crust to a doughy crust. I think Ness has really nailed the sexy sauce/crust combination. The sauce is very obviously home made and not from a shitty jar/can. Their sandwiches(I’ve had both the meatball and the chicken parm) are great and huge too. Their muscles are all right, I’d probably get them again but not the best I’ve ever had. Chicken caesar salad is fine(kind of a typical pizzeria salad). Overall, Ness will give you a good bang for your buck, prices are very reasonable. Ness is a hole in the wall type pizzeria(although there is a dining area to the side). Their counter space is kind of weird because on display is everything BUT their pizza which is inconveniently hidden in a corner. All in all, I’m a fan of Ness thin crust pizza and will continue coming back.

A Fair Lawn townie spot. Great food. Definitely try the vodka sauce. A little pricey compared to other pizza places.

Mixed bag. Love the Pizza, thin crust… best in the area. Food is good. Not on par with the Pizza, but good. The staff seems disinterested most times and annoyed when you order… the manager(I think he is the owner), is the exception always very pleasant.

STILLFAN — placed a delivery order today for large pep pie and house large house salad– and was told by the employee over the phone that they don’t take credit cards over the phone for delivery anymore– only cash or check– so I totally must have had a lucky day in July when they took my card– but anyway– they took my order for delivery-super nice about it and hope it is just as delish and tasty as my first order… — but just need to remember cash or check on delivery.

Ness pizza is the best pizza in Bergen County! Their cheese is perfectly balanced with thick, crunchy crust. My favorite dish is their penne vodka with chicken and broccoli. Everything on the menu is delicious!

This was my first and last time here. Your typical hole in the wall pizzeria that doesn’t wow your taste buds. You want to eat everything off of the menu(which is why we ordered a few things) but the food was not good. The crab cakes were fried to the point of no taste and the shrimp fra diavlo had jalapeños in it!(NOT Italian if you ask me) I was very disappointed…

I’ve been coming here for years. I love thin crust pizza and their vodka sauce is killer. The sandwiches are pretty damn good too.

This place is real. It’s the type of shop you see people return to for years. It’s the neighborhood pizzeria with that extra touch of real fresh and good food. Whether the guys at the counter know your name or they are too busy to say hi, they make your food with care from the heart. The owner Steve makes pizzas and doesn’t put on fake smiles like many new business owners. This place is real, with real people and real good and everything about it is great!

Well second time we come here and might as well Be our last. The first time we came everything was fine, but not this time. They have gluten free personal pizza but no regular personal pizza, and apparently it’s impossible to make. Apparently this pizzeria does not know what a veggie pizza is. I thought veggie pizza is pretty standard at any pizzeria. And when ordering a half plain and half veggie pizza, we got a green machine pizza. There was a lot of spinach, and broccoli and green pepper. So we asked our waitress, who’s attitude I did not appreciate at all, and she said she just threw three veggies that she thought of. Apparently there is a three veggie limit? So my boyfriend asked her if they could just put all the veggies they had except onions and olives. She proceeded to say to just tell her three things we want on the pizza. And she was going about it with a sarcasm and attitude. And she had apparently her friends sitting at a table in the same room who were talking about us and sayings we were the rude ones. It was just not what we expected and asked to be made again. The teenager attitude was not necessary. This experience did not make for an enjoyable evening after a long work day. Overall the quality of the pizza, to simply put it, sucked. We ended with a half plain, and three slices of eggplant, broccoli, and mushroom. Because apparently the slices were Extra large and we ordered large… Even though honestly it looked the same size but at this point who is going to fight over a slice we just wanted to be done and out. I personally wouldn’t have left a dime for tip because I’m a strong believer in good service, but my boyfriend being the nice guy he still left 20% tip, which she definitely did not earn.

Ok pizza. Rude staff. Overheard them speaking rudely about other customers. Not good. Hopefully the owner will read this and address his staff.

Ness Pizza is hands-down the best pizza in town. Their main 5 pies are white, bruschetta, buffalo, sicilian, and regular. Most of the times I’m there I get a white, a regular and one rollatini which they heat up in a ceramic dish. Unlike most places, Ness makes their own mozzarella which gives their pizza a unique taste similar to much higher-end places found in NY. While I’m on the topic of NY, I would point out that they offer one of the best thin crusts anywhere. Their crust has some great flavour and in over 30 visits never had a bad one. Another great characteristic about Ness is their drinks. Unlike most placed in the area, they offer Boylan sodas and the occasional small brand I’ve never heard of before. Granted they don’t always offer the same flavours(for instance they had«orange cream soda» for a month in the summer but I haven’t seen it since). Still, the little things they put effort into really count. One of the other things I would recomend to have while you’re there is definitely to spend the extra $ 3 for one of their cannollis… they make their own cream, and it’s awsome. Overall, Ness Pizza is one of those gems in the community and I would definitely recommend checking them out.

Been eating here for what seems like forever. It’s like my go to place. Food is great, plentiful and more than reasonable. I can even get ½ orders of pasta if I’m not all that hungry. Staff is friendly, attentive and engaging. Great pizza, mussels, pasta and pretty much everything else. Of all the places I’ve reviewed, Ness is the only one I’ve been to literally hundreds of times and I’m sure, hundreds more. All the best.

Ness is my favorite hometown pizza place and the home of the quintessential Jersey slice: thin crust, crispy, and slightly burnt around the edges; sweet and savory tomato sauce, but not so much that it falls out after taking a big bite; and fresh mozzarella cheese. I would give it 5 stars, but my only gripe is that sometimes the bottom of the slice is a little floppy. Still, really good. Quick tip– the bruschetta slice is their local specialty. Also, there is a dining area on the side not visible from the street. Grandma will like it.

Great buffalo pizza. They also serve gluten free. Steve, runs the place, great guy. Staff is real nice and treats you nice. Even though they don’t have to, they insist on brining your food to you. Great place, and affordable.

AMAZING… DELICIOUS…THEBESTAROUND!!! I’d give this place 6 stars if there was a 6th [to give]!\ Sauce: very original… not too zesty but very flavorful… not too tomatoey either vodka sauce is out of this world. Crust: baked thin to perfection Cheese: always enough and very fresh Best items on menu: Manicotti [i order with vodka sauce not marinara] Eggplant rollatini Pizzas: plain, white(with garlic but no tomatoes for me), OR Buffalo Chicken Great for single family order AND Catering. Catering is very fresh, prompt delivery, polite, and usually organized. My roommate, friends, and I have a definite obsession with Ness :)
