I love this place… I used to work fairly close and then switched jobs. So happy to be back in the area again!!! Food — the only two things I get are the cajun cheesesteak and the chicken tenders. Both are great in fact the cajun cheesesteak is the only cheesesteak I’ll eat outside of Philadelphia. The fries are crinkle cut and always done well. Soggy stale fries make me want to kill myself(joking joking joking) but seriously the fries are some of the few I look forward too. There is «another one» in Fairfax station but isn’t anywhere near as good. So don’t think you’ll be getting the same and don’t based this location on that one. Only 4 stars because they give you a can of soda. It’s 2016 who really does that anymore?!?

The Cajun Chicken sandwich they have is by far the best chicken sandwich I’ve had … like ever. I do drive by the shopping plaza where this little gem is located and I have to stop and get it I’m not so sure about anything else on the menu, because I don’t get anything else besides this. But if you like chicken subs… this one is a must try.

Steak n Things is a nice little dive in Fairfax Station for those that don’t want to eat at a commercial chain establishment. They have a nice selection of American fare that is priced to suit the food they serve up. Ed, one of the owners is a nice guy with flair who will always make sure you are satisfied with your order. Check ‘em out! The funnel cake fries are off the chain!

This place really disappointed me today(4÷23÷2015). All I ordered was a simple cheese steak with white American cheese ketchup and grilled onions. After biting into my sandwich I knew they did not use American cheese. I called the establishment to see if the issue could be fixed. To male a long story short the gentleman I spoke with didn’t know the difference between white American cheese and Swiss, Provolone… He would have made another sandwich for me but after he told me «I used Swiss American cheese» I was done. I hope the people who read this know there is White American Cheese and Yellow American cheese. They are almost the same nevertheless they taste nothing like swiss or provolone or mozzarella. So be careful because they may tell you«We used White American Provolone. American cheese is not the same as Swiss Provolone Mozzarella … This place doesn’t know the difference. Would have gave it 2 stars but the sandwich was still decent just not what I ordered.

One of my go to spots when I’m craving quick and easy food. I do have to say that each individual item by itself isn’t the best, especially when comparing it to other spots in Northern Virginia. But I commend them for their variety of foods and they aren’t all half bad. My favorite would be the Steak and Cheese as it is one of the best after New York Steaks in the Springfield Mall food court closed. The bread is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The steak is very flavorful and the cheese is melted to the right amount. The seasoned waffle fries are the perfect compliment to it, and a lot better than the waffle fries from Chick-Fil-A. I’ve also tried their Supreme basket, which consists of Fried Tilapia, Chicken Tenders and Fried Shrimp. I was very satisfied with it, seeing as how I didn’t spend more than $ 10 for it. They are great for delivery, however, the few times I have had it delivered, the fries were stale and hard. I prefer dining in since the food is a lot better when it comes out the kitchen right away. The store itself is quite small and a little messy, but don’t be fooled by it. The staff is very friendly!

Don’t come here after 9PM because they won’t want to serve you food even though they say they close at 9:30. They’ll try to be smart with you and offer you only a cookie but who the F wants to buy a cookie for dinner? Oh, and they were already counting their $$ at the front 20 min before closing. Why don’t they wait until they close for real or at least change their hours to reflect when they actually close. Unprofessional and rude.

Very good steak and cheese subs. A little greasy, but tasty. The waffle fries rock. My go to place for a quick steak and cheese in the whole area. New management and staff are a big improvement. Very friendly and courteous. Great for carry out or delivery. Not very appealing for eat in.

inexpensive, quick, free delivery, friendly service. it’s not high end cuisine or meant to impress foodies, but when dealing with out-of-town family, moving, or just plain lazy(me), it’s a great go-to. the steak and cheese sandwich is delicious, as are the old school crinkle fries. the chicken gyro was also tasty. i’m anticipating it will be perfect for the 8 hours of football watching once the season starts up again, since it’s basically bar food that delivers.

The Cajun cheesesteak is my go-to. Waffle and regular fries are delicious. Tacos and other Mexican fare is pretty good if you’re looking to mix it up. Gyro is lacking for me but it’s not terrible. Ordering delivery is always easy and they usually show up in about 30 minutes. This place has been a lot more consistent since under new management.

This location is SODIFFERENT from the Georges Steak & Things up the street on OX. Avoid this one at all costs. I have ordered from here twice and the chicken sub was just gross(pretty sure they used frozen, precooked chicken), the fries were undercooked, and the food was just unappatizing. GOUPTHESTREETTOOX, IT’S A WORLDDIFFERENT. And why are there two accounts for this one?

Omg Steak n Things n your funny name!!! For my short 6 month stay as a Lorton resident, my roommate would order from here all the time. I’m like, eh… I SHOULDHAVELISTENED! What prompted me to finally order was the fact that I am finally moving and refuse to go food shopping until I move into my new place. Now that I no longer live in Lorton, of course I have to find out that this place is actually GOOD! I love the fries. And(n) the people that work there are cool. He poked air vents into my Styrofoam container so that the moisture inside wouldn’t make my fries soggy. Or maybe he was just taking out his aggression on my to go container with a sharp object. Either way. Rock on, guys.

For a chain this was quite good. I have had the chicken and steak sandwiches. The steak was better but the chicken was quite good too. I wouldn’t make a special trip but if I was in the area would go for sure.

This little, casual restaurant offers salads, buffalo wings, fish or chicken baskets, spaghetti, hamburgers, subs, etc. The food does not wow my tastebuds but is perfectly acceptable, especially when I am too lazy to cook dinner at home and need a quick meal delivered. Prices are reasonable. I have been a customer many times and will continue to be.
