A user correctly informed me that my bad review belongs to Tyson’s location, not Fair Oaks. Fair Oaks had the friendly and helpful staff. 5 stars to the Fair Oaks BCBG!

Sorry to the other Unilocalers, but I haven’t had to return anything here, but I suspect that I will be making purchases more carefully. I like this shop, since the customer service is friendly. I can come in looking like a hobo and they will treat my money just the same. They also have frequent 30% off sales, which is hard to find for BCBG unless you drive out to the outlets. But then again, for clothes, it’s pretty pricey, and sometimes, the«fashion» does do a dance on fine lines somewhere in fashion heaven…

I like their clothing, but I don’t care for the way they conduct business. I had the same experience on buying something there only to let me casually know after they swipe my credit card that there are no returns, but I could exchange color/size within 10 days or get store credit basically. It sucks overall because I’ll now think 10x more before I ever buy anything there.

Chic clothing and accessories for the sophisticated young woman fill this lovely, well lit shop. Lots of fresh designs in fabrics that flatter the figure. Nice salespeople, too. Bring your credit card, it can be pretty pricey.

Either you’re a fan of the line or not, so I am writing this review solely because of their shady return policy that I was lucky enough to experience. I selected a dress from the 30% off rack and tried it on with no issues. I went to pay and handed over my card. Then the salesgirl swiped my card and casually said«oh by the wayyy this is final sale.» Thanks for springing this on me after swiping my credit card. Nothing I can really do at this point so I acquiesce despite the overwhelming sense of buyer’s regret. She turned her back and takes a while to package the dress in the bag. When I got home, I realized what took her so long — she removed and kept the tag without telling me! I’m not sure why this bothered me so much since I do not keeps tags on the clothes so I can return merchandise after wearing. I guess what irked me was that she was very sneaky about it. I have several issues with this: –The sketchy way the staff conducted the sale — consumers(like me) are lazy/stupid, at least have the decency to tell them in advance and also let them know you’re taking off the tag. –The clientele at this mall(keep in mind this is Fair Oaks mall with mostly suburban teenagers/soccer moms, not Tyson’s Galleria) are probably accustomed to having more consumer rights, especially with returns. I anticipate that many patrons unfamiliar with higher end brands will be just as dissatisfied/miffed with the inflexible policy. –What if there was something wrong with the dress that went unnoticed at the store, especially with the way the sales clerk was manhandling it? BCBG won’t even give store credit for it now that my tag is gone.
