Twas like pulling teeth. Trying to get my order by an associate with no brain on the time I placed my order. Another experience where I came out confused. So confused I didn’t get to use my ONE app and collect my points. The team leader was no help either. Did not like my experience at all at this location, thanks team!

Okay, let’s get one thing straight. I’m a Chick-​fil-​A connoisseur. I’ve worked for two stores (I haven’t reviewed either of these nor do I know the owner of this store personally) and I know which ones do it right and which ones do it wrong. And the Fair Oaks Mall location does it very right.
I understand that the owner, Joe, is retired military. I think this shines through in his operation of this CFA as everything is perfect. I’m not joking. The biscuits in the morning are perfectly round, the sandwiches are all put together like works of art — some of these things may not happen during rush periods, but there’s extreme attention to detail to almost everything. To top it off, I respect Joe’s incredible work ethic: every day, he is in the restaurant, in a suit… wiping down tables and greeting guests. Not hiding in an office. He isn’t above any task. I’ve only known one other CFA owner, one that I worked for, that does this.
The food is pretty uniform from CFA to CFA, so I don’t really need to review that. If you’ve been to a CFA, you know the food is generally universally good. But just know that at this store that everything is prepared with care and that the owner is intimately involved with making each experience great, and that’s what CFA is all about.

Been here a couple of times and it can be packed on the weekend nights. But I have had no problems with this place and the staff are pretty friendly.

Thia chick fil a in fair oaks mall was very busy but they were moving pretty fast which was great because I was starving and needed a quick chicken sandwich before my event. It was odd that when you dine in, they give you this tall thing to sit in your table, there are no numbers or anything on it, so Im not sure what the purpose was since there was no way to identify the tables from each other.
as far as the food and service they were great, on point as always.

It was a bit crowded, but i didnt stand in line very long and my order was ready very quickly. I have it 4 stars because the floor was quite dirty and needed sweeped.

What can I say about Chick Fil A ?
It’s the best chicken sandwich place and the cleanest and the best customer service for a fast food place!

Just like every other Chick Fil A I visit, this one was amazing. I really wish someone would tell me the secret of how everyone working there is so friendly and efficient! The drive though line is always super long but always takes less than 5 minutes because they have people outside taking your order and 2 people at the window. I just don’t get it … I know they’re a Christian company, which is why I started going there in the first place, but what do they do differently to make their employees at least act like they don’t hate life!!! Sometimes when I’m in a bad mood, I go there just to hear the people say «my pleasure!» because it makes me smile.

I have to say that I am very bothered that this is actually second worst chick fila I have ever been to! I rush from one side of the mall only to arrive five mins before 9:30 (actual closing time) and by the way the gate is still up, only to have the employee tell me that they closed at 9pm… Funny how that works and your gate is still up! The worst part of it is that It would have taken me all of two mins to order my little nuggets.

The line was out of the store and the restaurant was already packed. Service from the employees are very efficient. Two people at the register and one man bringing the food out. It took four minutes to get my food.

Great crew that provides great service. If you go there often the make an effort to get to know you. Most of them know me by name. Much friendlier and welcoming that the new Chick-​fil-​a that opened in Fair Lakes.

This place gets a little crowded during lunch, but service is always fast and friendly. Management has done a great job here.

I love Chickfila. This was my first time at this location, and it was just bad. I got the market salad, but with a different dressing and chicken that I asked for. I didn’t see it until I opened the bag at home.

WORST place to get a milkshake. I went and got a peppermint milkshake on my way home from work (I live in the apartments right next to the mall) and my milkshake was literally water by the time I walked in my house.

I Love the Chick-​Fil-​a location than the other locations. This the #1 place i always go to. The owner Joe and Liz Emma and staffs here are so so so friendly, funny and nice and the best. My order is always fast and fresh and HOT and very very very YUMMY! This Chick FIL A got the best customer service, satisfaction and ALWAYS go out of the world by making you HAPPY and PROUD of you orders to make you feel WELCOME.

It’s not the cleanest which is why I knocked down 1 star but, boy oh boy is the chicken still as amazing and consistent with any other chick-​fila you will visit.
The dining area is a bit cramped, but again love that everyone was super nice and friendly when I requested my sauces and when they brought the food to your table.
The French fries came out smoking hot and the food was deliciously fried.
I dig the spicy chicken sandwich deluxe… The milkshakes… The French fries… The umpteen sauces that are available !!

The food is your basic Chick Fil A, which is to say good. The only issue is that being a mall location, we always seem to get stuck in line behind a pack of teenagers that I end up wanted to smack upside the head.

Very sloooooow service. One person only woking the counters with a long line. Food was okay and restaurant is somewhat clean… but very crowded with the tables and dividers very close to ech other so not a lot of walking room or to navigatte easily with a stroller.

Reliably great food — LOVE the fries, and really like the chicken nuggets/​strips. Oddly I don’t really care for their grilled chicken nuggets — and 95% of the time I prefer anything grilled to fried — but have friends who like them with dipping sauce and it’s nice to have the option. The chicken soup is ok — perfectly fine, though not great — I just don’t see the point in ever ordering it when I’m emotionally attached to the fries and enjoy the chicken so much more.
Like most Chick Fil A’s I’ve been to, this location lets you order a four-​piece nugget independent of a kids meal (the Chantilly location by the expo center does NOT). They also have much more consistent sweet tea than the Chantilly location, particularly when buying a gallon to take home for company.
The line usually moves pretty quickly; sometimes the food is up surprisingly fast, other times there’s a wait. Staff are always friendly and competent, and they keep it pretty clean given the wait for tables and immediate turnover at peak times.
Note: This review is only about the food/​service, not the chain’s politics. But since I don’t care for many quick food options (and Chick Fil A and Subway are literally the only places I like that are convenient to my general area), I just donate $ 1 to a gay rights organization every time I eat there to compensate for the fraction of a penny from my meal that they put towards causes I find deplorable.
