Super fun idea! Woo wouldn’t love to create their own pizza. And they are so yummy! Great place to eat for everyone!

Pizza okay. No issues really. Average for the dozen or so make your own/unlimited topping personal pizza spots around the area. But as others have commented on– staff. You need to have more than a few teens running the shop. And you need to make sure the gloves get changed– I saw the same gloves go from pizza dough to cash register, to random organizing behind the counter and then right back into the next customers pizza dough. Aside from the health code aspects of it– it’s just gross.

5 stars for the pizza, 1 star for some of their staff. The pizza is great if they dont skim through the toppings. The pizza is just enough for an adult and the big guy with glasses puts no more than a couple of chunks for each topping you ask. He seems like being robbed when you ask for more toppings which is idiotic. If the owner makes this right, the pizza place will be a blast because the quality of pizza when made right is great.

As others have mentioned below, the customer service at Firenza is completely lacking. The people working here are more focused joking with each other than actually paying attention to customers’ orders and making sure their needs are met. This was my second time back here and probably the last due to the repeated poor service. The only reason I’m giving two stars for this review was the custom pizza I created — I picked a pretty damn good combination of toppings. Definitely not worth the headache dealing with the staff here for an over priced pizza. Note to owner: spend some more money on decent staff. I bet your store will have more sales and positive reviews!

I was really excited about this place at first glance and looking over the Unilocal reviews. The Fairfax location is right across the street from my office. So, when I saw a Groupon for 50% off $ 30 for $ 15 I jumped at the chance to buy it. My first visit here was all right, the pizza was pretty bland(they sure didn’t put much toppings on it). The employees seemed depressed and more interested in playing on their cell phones than helping customers. I was excited a bit by the coke machine. The place was practically empty on my lunch hour on a Tuesday. The second visit was not much different than the first. I ordered a different pizza and it was bland, I noticed the employee making it was sure skimping on the ingredients but I didn’t say anything. The pizza was the worst this time, I wouldn’t even call it pizza. Again, the restaurant was empty on this visit which came in on another Tuesday. My final and most likely last ever visit will be today. The restaurant was a bit busier, probably because it was a Friday but it sure wasn’t packed by any means. I came in and ordered a different pizza but before doing so asked kindly if they could make the pizza have a bit more ingredients because my last two times the pizza was a bit bland. One of the cocky kids behind the counter was quick to correct me saying«We have portion sizes.» I asked him what was more important«portion sizes» or «customers and traffic to his restaurant?» He didn’t answer, this time though my pizza had bigger portions and tasted better. I won’t come here again because of the lousy customer service and I urge others to consider this before you patronize this restaurant.

Pizza’s about 3.5 stars but I rounded up. It’s nice to have a quick and convenient pizza shop in the fairfax area. It was formerly a Donato’s but removed the counter and replaced it with an assembly line of dough, sauce and toppings– fairly similar to &pizza. Total came to 7.99 before tax for a single size unlimited topping pizza. A head’s up for those who love spicy– they maybe dropped a couple red pepper flakes into their spicy sauce and called it a day.

My brother went there and ordered a salad, and the guy that made the salad did so without gloves! Just his bare hands. When he said he didn’t want the salad anymore the man was not understanding. This sort of thing is unacceptable.

Maybe I’m coming at the wrong times, but Firenza seems fairly disorganized. There were more employees than needed, standing around and joking with each other, and they didn’t seem to be paying attention to actually making the pizza. I got asked if I wanted some wings or meatballs, to which I said«Sure», and the guy at the register was confused by that. I didn’t find out until I got to the register that their credit card machine wasn’t working; lucky for them I had cash. They didn’t offer a receipt, so I have no idea if I was charged correctly. After sitting around waiting for a few minutes, the staff discovered they’d given our pizzas to a takeout customer(who was lactose intolerant, so I’m sure she enjoyed our cheese). They were very apologetic and offered some free coupons, but were also quite clueless as to how the mixup happened. Maybe if they hadn’t been goofing off so much, they would have figured it out. The food itself was good, but nothing to write home about. The oven roasted wings were meaty and juicy, and the meatballs came with a lot of extra sauce. The pizza was fine, though I’ve had better from this sort of place(Black Iron Pizza in DC and Blaze Pizza in Bethesda come to mind).

Let’s start with the staff… ROCKSTARS– ONTOPOFTHINGS! More than polite, and give you the scoop of how Firenza works… yes that’s hard to come by with the way yall else raised your children ;) Now for the food… BOMB! So damn good, somebody called it the Chipotle of pizza… I’d say HELLYEAH! You choose what you want for a flat rate… PILEITONBRO! Grab a beer and crush that pizza!

A little explanation on this place, because it was a completely new concept for me. This place is like a Pizza version of Subway(not the quality, though!). They only sell personal sized pizzas, I think 8 – 10′, but you select all the ingredients, unlimited, and they make it to order right in front of you. Food: The pizza was super fresh and really good. Loved it. Atmosphere: casual, a little cramped inside, but had outdoor seating. Lots of other good stores nearby like 7 – 11, coffee shop and frozen yogurt. Service: they were super friendly and helpful explaining how it worked, I should have tipped! Price: A personal pizza with unlimited toppings was $ 7.99. With a drink you are looking at about $ 10/Head. Totally reasonable and good for dinner or lunch! Overall: I really enjoyed the place and will definitely be back.

Wonderful customized pizza. It has only one size, and you choose all the toppings, just like you do in Chipotle, then put your personalized pizza into wood fired oven. There are a lot of topping choices including add on crust flavor or drizzle and you can choose California style. The crust is fresh hand made which i think it’s very important as it’s the main part of a pizza and it tastes super great — -thinner than normal pizza, but thicker than those thin crispy ones, neither too soft nor too hard to bite and with wonderful texture. It’s not too salty which is also worth to mention. In summary, great pizza and great concept. I always love delicate fast food.

Search for a awesome Pizza in Fairfax finally ends. This place has it all. Price, selection, friendly staff and speed of service. Visited this couple weeks ago as they had a coupon for buy one get one free. Amazing concept. You pick the crust, sauces and all the toppings you want. They MAKE it and BAKE it. Its as simple as it gets or shall we say KISS!(Keep it simple and stupid) If you are unsure, they also have menu from which you can order. Again all at same price! No $ 1 for each topping as other places will charge you. I ordered one from menu and one my own creation. Loved them both. Cant wait to go back

This is such a great concept. I got to create my own pizza and put whatever toppings I want on it. They have so many options for toppings. They also have gluten-free dough. I created a pizza with the regular pizza dough. They roll the dough and spin it to make it the right size. Then they ask what type of sauce you would like. I choose the pesto sauce. Then you can choose what toppings you want. I got chicken, artichoke, cheese, spinach, and sun dried tomatoes. Afterwards, you pay and they place your pizza in the fire brick oven and then you find a place to sit. Once your order is ready, you go and pick it up or they bring it to you. The pizza was ready in just a few minutes. The pizza was cooked perfectly and the flavors were amazing. All of us got different pizza options and it was great! I will be returning to try some other types of pizza. Also, you can choose to get the garlic sauce with another sauce to give it some additional flavor. I will be trying this next time.

This place is right next to smash burger and is a subway/chipotle style pizza place. You can pick and choose the toppings how ever you want. I was pretty impressed :) they also have the soda machines with like a hundred different flavors. Prices are good too will be coming back

I very much enjoyed my visit here. I came to firenza because the now defunct similar version to it from Worldgate in Herndon, called Pizzanese, shut down, so i saw this place has the same business model so i came to try. There is another chain out of the west coast that is quickly gaining steam with the«chipotle of pizza» model as well. Essentially you load up a fresh slab of dough with whatever sauce and toppings you want and its ready five minutes later, for one low flat price. It’s fresh and tasty and they have really good ingredients and a good variety. The restaurant is clean, well laid out with modern design. The entire shopping center it is housed in is very clean and new looking. I will be back, Firenza!

Coincidentally, I had just been to &pizza for the first time this week. Firenza is pretty much the same concept. A lot of people know of and highly recommend &pizza but I feel like I’d never heard of Firenza before. I’m not sure why — I feel like both are equally good. I stumbled upon this place when I got a coupon for a free individually sized pizza in the mail. When you order, you can choose one of their eight signature pies or design your own a la Chipotle. I decided to go with the pesto sauce, mozzarella, spinach, pepperoni, Italian sausage, meatballs, onions, and mushrooms. You’re allowed to choose as many toppings as you want, so I went a little crazy. The ingredients were amazing and you get a good amount of food for your dollar.

Came in for the free pizza promo Wc is a really good way to drum up attention to a new place. Crust had a nice char, crisp and not soggy in the center. Dough is hand thrown and made to order in front of you. I got the Firenze special w extra olives, hubby had pepperoni w sundried tomatoes. You can basically take any of their menu pizzas and customize as you wish for 7.99++ a bit too much fresh garlic on mine had me breathing like a dragon after and hubby didn’t like the sundried tomato, too dry. The girl by the oven was busy texting on her phone, I know that’s a violation right there. Bad impression even if they are kids on a summer job. All in all, an ok place not bad, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back.

Firenza is amazing. It’s Chipotle meets pizza. They have a large oven that heats it fast as well. There’s multiple sauces to choose from(including Alfredo) and a myriad of protein and fresh veggie toppings. It’s all the toppings and sauce you want for around $ 8. Make sure you try the meatballs as well.

This pizza place seems really new, so the staff seem to still be learning their jobs, a bit slowly, but they were all very friendly and offers very nice service. The pizza dough is lighter than some of the other personal pizza place I’ve had since they stretch the dough by hand, therefore a little less uniform. I was really disappointed when Pizzanese went out of business but now Firenza will be my go to personal pizza place! The crust isn’t as crunchy(not thin) but everything else is just as fresh(no anchovies tho). Tip: my family agrees their spicy marinara sauce with garlic oil on the crust is the way to go!
