We’ve stopped by this Games Workshop several times in the past year with my 8-year-old son. Every time the staff have welcomed us and been very informative about the games, painting, and the hobby. They even gave my son a free painting lesson and miniature and showed him how to play the games. We must have spent an hour in the store the other night and asked some very hard hitting questions about age appropriateness and if there were younger players that frequented the place. I got honest answers and I never felt like they were trying to just make a sale, but genuinely pass on their enthusiasm for the hobby to others. As a parent out of their comfort zone, I really appreciated the honesty and the clarity of information. If you’re interested in Warhammer or have a kid that may benefit from the model painting aspect, I highly recommend this particular store. The staff have always been awesome and even the regulars have provided valuable input and created a friendly atmosphere for all ages.

I was very surprised to find that hidden within the Fair Oaks Mall food court was a Games Workshop store. From the moment I walked into the store the staff was incredibly helpful and informative. It may be a bit over the top at first, but it stems from their genuine enthusiasm for the games. They have a nice area for playing games and even painting miniatures. They also hold painting demos/tutorials and will run through a 15 minute game to help you learn the rules. I really enjoyed finding this diamond in the rough. Their only drawback was that the store is a touch on the smaller size. If you love tabletop games then you need to check this place out.
