I just stumbled across Sunny Day Salvage and I am hooked! Adorable little store with amazingly afordable prices. I was totally inspired by the beauty, chic-ness and simplicity. The owner has an amazing eye and a creative bent that reinvents the old and typical into something unique and beautiful. Character abounds. You’ve got to check this place out!

If Fairfax’s «Beach House Style» had a baby with almost every little adorable shop on Fairfax’s Bolinas Road, the result would be this little offspring over behind Fairfax’s «M&G» and beside«Frogs». Sunny Day Salvage is a mix of repurposed, reinvigorated, recycled, and reclaimed furnishings, clothing, jewelry, and more. Lots of well-priced or downright inexpensive things to imagine in your home, in your yard, on your body, through your ears, and around your neck. Make an afternoon of it as you explore, on foot, all the exciting, inspired little shops in Fairfax, but don’t miss this one which is a hidden find a bit off the main arteries of Fairfax. Stumble on in on a sunny day and discover something salvaged but perfect. Love, love, love to see all of the creative non-chain shops being birthed in Fairfax; there’s nothing else like it anywhere else in Marin.
