It’s a fantastic workout and a nice studio. It will definitely get the job done and get you in shape if you keep going. I like this much better than Pure Barre(which eventually ended up hurting my knee and I had to quit). This is all about proper spine alignment, where Pure Barre is all about holding a tuck that isn’t natural for your spine, and I believe that’s what ended up causing me the knee issue. TDM has actually helped my knee and helped me have better posture and alignment. The only thing is that I cannot find a way to enjoy this class. It’s difficult, it’s painful, and I really have to push myself to get through it because I just don’t enjoy it. The instructors are good, the music is good, the method reshapes your body, but it’s HARD and I’ve been going a year now and really struggle with enjoying it. That’s my only downside. I will keep showing up and reaping the benefits though.

Have been able to improve my posture & strength, firm up, slim my seat, thighs & stomach going to the«mixed» classes 4 — 5 times/week for 3 months at Corte Madre & now Fairfax. Am now a core member(great discount) at Fairfax — love the relaxed vibe there. My all time favorite teacher is Tiana! She is the very best of all the teachers at carefully, distinctly describing each exercise, step-by-step. This really matters so you get the full benefit & because of background music & acoustics.(I also like that she doesn’t haul your body around to correct your position.) Classes are only one hour(which is plenty), starting & ending right on time. Liz is another favorite teacher for the same reasons as Tiana. I also like Caroline and Susanah. Very clear direction/demonstration/correction. The online booking is great. Overall a wonderful workout. I sit too much for work. This is a great solution for me!
