It’s rare that I’ve visited this ABC and they did not have what I «needed».
They had a shortage of Caol Ila for awhile which happens to be my husband’s favorite. But their staff is very knowledgeable and were able to recommend some comparable bottled peatiness from Islay that they DID have in stock. Points.
I also appreciate the fact that they have an aisle full of Virginia wines. Not everyone drinks hard liquor so it’s nice to not have to make another stop. I’m crossing my fingers one day that they’ll pick up some of the sparkling VA wines.
They will check your ID if you use a credit card for over $ 100 — even if you look 80.

Very rarely go here, as I do not consume much booze. When I do go here, they always have everything I am looking for in stock.

I had just survived the Earthquake of the Century, so I figured I needed a little something stiff to ease my nerves. Actually, being from California and riding through my fair share of earthquakes, it wasn’t a big deal. But I had a rough day and still had to get back to the hotel to answer a couple dozen emails, so why not with a bourbon and coke?
Definitely well stocked, clean, and did not have a typical liquor store feel to it. Only problem was that what I wanted they didn’t have in the size that I wanted. I didn’t need something huge since I was in town for only a week, but didn’t want a single shot, either. Had to compromise by getting a more reasonable size of something else.
The staff inside was very friendly and after I made my selection still chatted with me for a bit.

I go here when I needs to get my drink on, ummmm what more can I say, clean, organized, friendly staff and a good selection of alcohol. Not ghetto like most liquor stores.

This liquor store is right up the street from me, which is both good and bad, since our trips there are perhaps a tad too frequent. They have a good selection of alcohol and a small collection of Virginia wines. They also have lots of sample sizes.
The guys who run the store are friendly and helpful. We’ve had good luck asking them for advice/recommendations. Also, if there’s anything you want that is not in the store, they’re happy to order it for you.
Open on Sunday, too, which is a plus.
