This locally owned business reminds me of the chocolate shops in even the smallest villages in Belgium. I think it is so cool that Fairfield can have its own Chocolate Café. I always get the handmade chocolates, especially love the rose and blueberry. I wish they would make a violet chocolate — hint hint! If I remember correctly, I also got some vegan chocolates here for my dairy-free friend. She loved them. They also sell imported chocolates — the standard ‘praline’ selection. If you are missing European chocolate shops, this place will make you happy. There is a great selection of gourmet chocolate bars — the merchandising on these is really good. I would love to see them add Maison Bouche chocolate bars! As a side tip: don’t get the ‘Indian Popcorn’ expecting to use it in your air popper. Unless you like popcorn flying all over the room. It’s just too light! But, over the stove it makes the cutest tiny little popcorn. If you are a local who wants to treat themselves, or someone who wants to send a ‘Fairfield gift’ to your friends out of town, this is a great stop for you! I know I’ll be trying some hot chocolate here this autumn.

Excellent cheesecakes and chocolates. I often buy the Mint Divine chocolate bars. Prices are very good for a chocolate boutique.
