I never tanned before coming here. I’ve been going here for about a year now and the sales associates are friendly and knowledgeable. I’m in the military and appreciate both cleanliness and professionalism, and this place delivers. If you’re unsure about where to tan or just tanning in general, try this place out.

I have been tanning here for about 2 years and I love the staff! Sam and Amy are amazing and very sweet and make personal contact with all customers in a positive manner. They are the reasons why I return! Anyone can have great beds but if the staff is not friendly it matters. That being said the other girl does not have good interaction with me (can’t say for the other customers) and it saddens me. A business is successful based on their clientele and a customer is the one that pays the employees check. It makes me wonder why she would ask customers why they come in late or on a holiday eve with an attitude. Is she mad because she has to work? She has to be there anyways so why does it matter when or if I come in? There’s short and curtness in her manner when I come in which is vastly the opposite of what I’m used to with the other girls. She makes me look at other places to tan. And if Sam or Amy leave I would definitely leave. It’s a shame because I really love that place!

I Always rely on Stella and her crew to get me in color shape for any upcoming event. Beds, bathrooms and waiting area are ALWAYS clean and neat. Personal is always happy to see their customers coming in. Everyone is nice to me and my daughter.

LOVE this place. It’s always clean, the bulbs in all of the tanning beds are frequently checked and updated when needed, and the staff is super knowledgable and can give you advice on your tanning habits to help you get the tan you want without burning. And their level 3 bed «the legend» is the best bed I’ve ever tried. They charge the same amount as any other salon for the most part, yet this bed gives me better results than any other! And all of their other beds work great too, and they each have separate face tanning bulbs you can turn off or on. I’ve never had a spray tan done so I can’t say anything about that service, but 5 stars for sure on everything else. Best tanning salon in Fairfield by far :)

Easy going, no pressure, like family only cleaner than my house. Always greeted and most of the times the girls remember my name and machine preference (Stand Up). I drive by two other Tanning locations because I don’t want to waste my money I have worked hard for.

Great service. Took time to explain the packages and bedss to us, even a little tour. It is a clean location with a fun beach theme. For new customer 1^st tan is free. cant wait to go back.

I got a spray tan from this place and it was as if I rolled around in dirt. I have been getting spray tans for the last 6 – 7 years from array of different places. I have used spray booths and have been sprayed by individuals. This tan by far has been the worst spray tan I have ever received. The lady that sprayed me appeared to be in a rush and did not take the time to fully dry me off. On the short drive home some of the tan on the back of my legs came off because it was still wet. Along with losing part of the tan on my legs I started to observed blotchy brown specks where I was not sprayed thoroughly, which made the tan look like dirt. I had to shower two hours after I got the tan because it was so messy and uneven. Please do not use this place for spray tans it is a waste of your money.

This place sucks, dirty, burned out bulbs, lotion is SUPER over priced! Go to Amazon and get your tanning lotion for at least 60% cheaper. They’ll try to tell you if you buy it somewhere else it’s old and stale but that’s not true because some of the products are new products, they haven’t even been out long enough to go «bad». The owner is very sensitive and rude about this issue, weird.

This is an amazing place to tan. All the staff members are extremely friendly. The salon is also very clean. I recently got a spray tan, and it was amazing. The color looked natural and the tan was evenly distributed. It was so much better than a booth. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new place to tan.

After reading all the reviews I decided to go in and try out the airbrush tanning for myself and unfortunately the result was not what I wanted. I did everything I was suppose to before and after my tan and i still turned out with a blotchy spray tan. Won’t be coming here again.

Very comfortable atmosphere very professional owner I will be returning soon! I do have an unfortunate skin condition and my comfort level was a 10.

Thank you STELLA!!! Stella is an artist with a craft that is unmatchable by machine spraying booths which only provide you with 1 to 2-​dimensional sprays leaving imperfections, such as lines, blotches, tan spots, streaking or pale spots. STELLA’s custom spray tan (~$ 40) is applied in 3-​dimensions with eye and hand coordination taking into consideration individual anatomy, contours and shape to accentuate and enhance the body. I came in for my spray tan days before a professional beach-​themed photo shoot. When I returned home that night I accidentally dribbled water on my thigh causing drops and streaks during my post-​spray development. Before I could freak out, I contacted Stella and she brought me in late that night spraying over the area to correct the imperfections and then blending the tan so that the touch-​up didn’t look unnatural. This was all done free of additional charges. At the photo shoot, everyone thought the tan was «real» because of Stella’s amazing abilities. Remember, those HD cameras pick up every little discrepancy, so a high quality spray tan is essential. Additionally, I would highly recommend purchasing the small bottle of touch-​up DHA spray (~$ 9) for your hands, wrists, feet, ankles, and in my case, the shaving distribution on my face (seriously important for guys). The touch-​up spray can be applied with wedged blotting make-​up sponges by just rubbing it on. With that said, my tan lasted about 10−14d. All of this was made possible because Stella’s been in the industry for over a decade and takes personal interest in individual satisfaction. She also is very comfortable with herself and offers spray tanning in the posterior /​gluteal regions for guys, which is the only way to accomplish that natural and even tan. Quintessential spray tan!
Rachel is Stella’s protégé and she’s very good as well. I found her to be very knowledgeable, supportive, energetic and willing to offer good advice. Although, I would encourage her to extend her practices to spraying men’s posterior /​gluteals to complete that natural-​looking tan. Thanks for returning my diamond studs I left in the room! LOL
Incredible experience! The BEST in the BAY AREA!
[Anticipated down-​sides of spray tanning that are no reflection of the skill of your spray tan artist = fading of certain body parts (i.e. hands, feet, etc.) and a musky odor from the DHA tanning agent that typically only lasts until you shower 8 hours post-​spray.]
Recommendations = Hair removal (i.e. wax or shaving) should be performed a day or two prior to the spray. Guys really you don’t have to shave, because the spray tan still turns out well, unless you want that shiny /​sleek look. Wear black loose-​fitting clothes and sandals to avoid staining your clothes and warping the tan.

Cleanest, nicest, most up to date tanning salon. I refuse to go anywhere else. I recommend getting the level 3 package or a spray tan. The older lady that does the spray tans is the best and they’re a bit pricey but they have good deals and specials like $ 5 Sunday.

Love love LOVE tanning here :) I even make the drive from Martinez! Now I’ve got such high standards, I still haven’t been able to locate a tanning salon close to home that is remotely as awesome as Island Oasis!

Great place to go tanning! Always clean. The friendly and efficient staff are always willing to answer your questions or help you out. Inexpensive with three different bed levels so they have the inventory to fit everyones needs and their budgets! I recommend this place to all my friends!

I was heading out to Vegas in a week and wanted to get a nice glow before I left! I went in and asked the girl at the front what I should do, what I could buy, and etc. they had a package of 5 sessions in a Level 2 bed (there is Level 1, 2, or 3) for $ 50, so I purchased that! I am naturally light skinned, the girl also recommended a bottle of ‘Go To Black’ lotion that would give me that dark color without the red/​tingly, it was $ 55. Really clean facility, the beds are in great shape with a large variety to suite your skin tone and what you’re looking for! I was very nervous about burning, they started me off at a low time and was able to work my way up! Within a week I had an amazing tan for Vegas!!! Everyone (employee) is very friendly and nice! Great place to get your tan on, well worth the price!

I’m a semi pro cheerleader and auditions are coming up for pro in a few months, thought, why not tan? I ask around and I call two or three other places around the Fairfield/​Suisun/​Vacaville area and although the prices are competitive I have to say Stella at Island Oasis had me because of her willingness to help out without making me feel like a burden. She actually spoke to me on the phone and was willing to address her pricing for everything including her brush tan service, which she personally does herself. I come from a customer service occupation myself so knowing she thoroughly advised a newbie on all the effects and trimmings of tanning made me pick this place.
This store is located in between the Safeway and Costco shopping centers in Fairfield by the college. When I first walked in I immediately noticed the blue walls, clean counter tops, vacuumed floors, nice comfortable seats, and a valentines decoration above the main hallway into the bed rooms. It smelled sweet like my tanning lotion I also purchased there.
Stella, the owner, gave me a tour and told me what she would suggest for my type and my lifestyle, since it’s pretty busy. I went with the unlimited package number 2 bed, for $ 95. She does offer a 15% discount on all packages and merchandise and even your first tan free when you sign up on your first day. I felt informed after making my decision and was lead to the far bed to the right down the hall.
Stella gave me 7m to put my lotion on which was more than enough time, then the blue lights came on. She kept me in for 5m as she advised to see how I reacted to her beds. There was no wait for me, and I felt like her customers were her close friends the way she called all of them by their first names.
That’s customer service! I will be returning and recommending Island Oasis to any of my friends interested in tanning!

This is a lovely privately-​owned salon that always makes me feel so relaxed when I come here to tan. :) Prices are good for the area, they offer three types of beds [last time I was in town] and the highest level bed is AMAZING — I always end up at least one shade darker when I use it.
They also have an email newsletter for promotions and tanning info, which is sent out once a month. It’s pretty awesome!
