Dr. Christensen is a great optometrist. He has a funny personality which makes the visit enjoyable. He’s GREAT with my kids. He also really takes the time to get to know us. The staff is always nice and sweet when we visit. My son has to get his glasses tightened often and he’s in and out of there each time. We’ve been going here for over 5 years. I’m so glad we found this office through our insurance carrier.

Dr. Mark Christenen in Fairfield is the BEST most honest and trustworthy Dr. I have EVER had… he actually cares about his patients and will help you find out whats in YOUR best interest and not for his benefits… I no longer have insurance but yet still go to him and pay full price which in my idea is not bad at all! He’s honestly the best and won’t go to anyone else. Seriously this guy deserves at least 10 Stars

I found this office using my insurance. I couldn’t have been happier with the thorough exam from dr Christensen. He is funny, Informative and has a genuine interest in ones eye health and vision needs. Barbara whom assisted me in selecting my frames was equally helpful and pleasant. I never felt pressured to get all these extra features on my glasses like anti glare etc. I said I had a tight budget and she helped me stay on track. Also contrary to a negative review of this office I had no problems in scheduling my appointment and speaking with a live person every time.

Dr. Christensen is a very competent eye doctor, and I have never had a complaint about the quality/accuracy of his exams. However, his office staff totally drops the ball. I needed to get our son in for either an eye exam, or at least a copy of his eye glass RX. Our son was leaving for the Air Force in two weeks and needed to bring glasses with him to basic training, and he only had contact lenses. I called the office several times and always got the answering machine. I finally gave up a couple of days later and found another practice that took our insurance and was able to see my son immediately. Wanna know when I finally heard from Dr. Christensen’s staff? Three weeks after my son left for Basic, 5 weeks after my phone calls. When I called them back to tell them they blew it, the woman who answered the phone could not have cared less. Bottom line, we are done with this practice.
