Love this place! They have the best cheese rolls. Awesome people and great service.

Delicious breakfast in a cozy restaurant in a neighborhood setting. We pulled up at about 11a and the «closed» sign was on display in the window. I was ready to leave but my husband insisted on walking up to the door — it was open but someone forgot to flip the sign around to say «open» — and they didn’t bother to correct it after we told them about it. Friendly staff, good coffee.

Very homely, reasonable prices and welcoming. Small but quaint. Food was done quick and delish. Everything we ordered was done perfectly. Best of all, very sweet, hospitable and extremely attentive.

I have had the opportunity to have one of their amazing cheese rolls and it did not disappoint me! He has a flair for variety in combining different foods to create a mouth watering menu. The fast service and bottomless coffee will leave you with the feeling of wanting to go back and try other things on his menu.

We all visited this place a while back and did not have a pleasant experience. We were visiting the New England Area and coming from out of state, and just driving through.
After posting my review, the owner contacted me several times with threats, calling me names, and did engage in acts to bully me to take down the review.
I did take it down, and contacted Unilocal,and the local authorities.
After consideration, I posted a screenshot of the communication I was receiving to Unilocal’s website, and have decided to post my review.
We did not care for the food, and were not waited on well. We all went based on what we read on Unilocal,however I have to wonder, based on my experience, if others who wrote honestly about their negative experiences were bullied into taking them down as I was.
If this owner’s response is representative of his business practices, then it should be avoided. It is unfortunate that this is the case, and hopefully things can be corrected.
UPDATE: The owner harassed me and then contacted Unilocal after I posted pictures of his harassment, and of my original review. Unilocal took it down because his content was so bad in his communication with me. Just something to think about.

Food was great but service was crap, sat waiting for a menu for ten minutes, I will return for the food because k have a summer house here and it’s awesome but they need to step up their service. Not okay. Pay attention and take the time to do well for your customers.

Cozy little side-​street diner. Welcoming staff, fresh coffee. Well wrapped omlette (you know what I mean). Left stuffed for $ 10. Definitely going back when I’m in the area.

Fantastic service. Great food. Awesome hidden gem. If you want a good place to eat in a casual setting, you cannot do any better then this little establishment. I got the steak omelette and blueberry pancakes. Very pleased with the service, quality, and the fact that it is a local family owned place only adds to its charm.

Would you like a side order of vulgar swears with your pancakes? The cook/​owner is rude and he is NOT afraid to insult you from the kitchen.
We arrived 30 minutes before close and as a well mannered person, we asked if they were still seating. The cook INVITED us in and said «Yes I will serve you». Okay great let’s order food. We ordered 3 entrees. While we were waiting, we heard the cook blatantly cursing us for ordering so much food.
1) Do not invite customers in if you are going to complain.
2) Really? We ordered too much? Did you really expect us to all share 1 plate?
3) Do not insult us.
4) We did not need to hear the f word and s**t over and over again especially when it was directed towards us.
5) Do you have thing against minorities?
I am solely reviewing on the service. The waitress was nice and I feel bad that she has to deal with this man. This place is in business because of regulars but what happens when new customers never come back? I will not support someone who only cares about money and not the people!

Great ‘greasy spoon’ style eatery, perfect for a heavy hangover brunch, or a family/​friends meal. Their menu includes your regular breakfast items, but don’t don’t miss their ‘specials’ board which offers some awesome options, all of which are very reasonably priced. My party ordered the crab cakes benedict, the lobster benedict, a scallop and bacon omelet, and french toast, and NONE of us were disappointed :) The staff were friendly and the atmosphere that of a classic breakfast joint complete with a diner bar. Will definitely be back.

We missed the ferry and stopped here on a whim. So delicious (I ordered the lobster benny!) Staff was nice and place was clean. I would love to have that for breakfast again.

Planning for our road trip vacation to RI with a day trip to Cape Cod, I hit up Unilocal!for some suggestions on places to eat scallops — my bf LOVES scallops and they can’t get much better than this area, right? I saw the scallop omelet on Simmy’s menu and we bookmarked it for our breakfast stop on the way to the Cape.
Finding this place is easy with Google Maps but if you don’t know where to look, you’ll certainly miss out — Simmy’s is tucked in a residential street which means it’s easy to miss but it wasn’t overrun at 9:30 on a Saturday morning.
The dining room isn’t large but it’s comfortable. Our server seemed a little timid but was friendly and maybe taken a little aback by a bunch of upstate NYers.
Four of us ordered breakfast and it overtook the table. We had a little of everything. My cousin liked the crab cakes benedict. My son ordered the plain crepes and a cheese roll. I had the «cheat day» breakfast with scrambled eggs, linguica (holy good sausage!), pancakes and a cheese roll. My bf got the scallop omelet and loved it — I tried a bite and it was great.
I think my favorite was the cheese roll. Must be a MA thing because my RI cousin and her RI lifer friends had not heard of it. Think soft sandwich roll meets thick slice of cheese on the flattop grill. Delicious! (And sealed the deal on the whole Cheat Day concept.)
Thank you Unilocal!ers for helping us find this little hidden gem. It was a great start to our Cape Cod adventures.

Loved this little gem. It’s tucked away on a side street in cutie pie Fairhaven. The chef owner was seen serving up the food. He greeted us and chatted a bit about his life story. The waitress was amazing. We loved sitting at the breakfast bar. The food was A O K. We arrived on a Summer Sunday at 12 and had no wait at all. The specials are quite creative. We can’t wait to go back.

Morgans was my favorite breakfast place & I never liked any of the other restaurants that took over their space until now.
My spinach, feta, cheddar omelette was delicious. I like that they have turkey options for their breakfast meats. Home fries were decent & portions were large.
My daughter loved her cheese roll.
We will be back for sure!

Solid start to the day, mom got the Banana Bread French Toast and I had the Scallop Bacon and Cheddar Omelette. We also both had the last two Cranberry Muffins, we got there kind of late.
My Scallop and Cheddar omelette was so amazing, I told the chef it was the best omelette I had had in years. It was just a stunning work with just stunning scallops in it. It was just a great dish.

Small place, amazing food. The portions were huge and delicious and you can’t beat the prices. They have a simple menu but some very interesting specials. I will absolutely come again!

Any place that bumps Steel Pulse at 9am on a Saturday is a great place!

Arrived at 8:15 in a rainy Sunday morning and seemed to be the first guests. By 8:40 all 10 tables and the counter were full. Glad we got there early because the service was friendly and efficient, the pumpkin cheesecake pancakes and scallop and bacon/​cheddar omelette were dilish and place was rollin’, except for with only one waitress on we didn’t want to break her stride and chose to simply pay without a check. Yes we’ll be back, and early too.
