If you’re like me, chances are your schedule is jam packed. There’s a million things to do in a given day and not nearly enough hours in a day, much less days of the week to get it all done. Workouts tend to be the last item on the totem pole. However, when days are too long, this is where Inward Office comes in to help with your wellness on a hectic day. I have been taking yoga at work through Inward Office for the past few months and I’m absolutely smitten. We have a few classes available, including Zumba, but yoga is the most popular and my favorite method of de-stressing during the day. Inward Office works by bringing exercise to you at your workplace. There are a variety of teachers available and scheduling is flexible, so as long as you have the space to practice. No need to worry about mats, the teachers bring the mats to you if you don’t have your own or don’t have several on hand. Jen is my current teacher, and her lunch hour class helps me break up the workday and feel well rested for the hectic afternoons. Her classes are inventive and creative, and challenge me in ways I didn’t know I wanted to be challenged. I’ve also had classes taught by Bani, and her class was wonderful and mindful, complete with essential oils at the end.(Every teacher should do this, but that’s just me!) Having yoga at work gives me a built in opportunity to stretch out and correct my constant computer-induced slumping posture. I’m not a particularly skilled yogi, but having class at work makes it easier to get to said class. If you have the opportunity to bring Inward Office to your office, give it a try! It’s much better than«Nama-staying» at your desk.
