I come here all of the time. The servers are awesome and they are quick. Not only that but when you order a side you get A SIDE. Very inexpensive for the amount of food you get and if you don’t like to be in a smaller on the louder side bar with more of an older crowd then go someplace else. The Landing is awesome. Wings are highly recommended.

The burgers were mediocre. I ordered the California and the wife ordered the bbq burger with onion rings. I was not impressed with either. For the money it was not worth it.

So sad to have been utterly disappointed with this place. I was really looking forward to some fish fry to go with a cold beer. Receiving a borderline room temperature beer after a 20 minute wait should have been our cue to get food at one of the Irish Bars down the street. BUT it started to rain something violent and we were starving. Never the less, should’ve taken on the storm instead of waiting almost an hour for our food. My fish bake was average with nothing special. I’d say it was expected, but for the ticket price and wait, I was better off picking one up at Wegmans. IT.WAS.NOT.WORTH.THE.BAKE! Also, my friend’s order was wrong, and to top it off, the wait just kept getting longer and longer. The check took almost as long as the drinks and food. And once we got the check and politely asked for it to be split(like we originally asked), the server caught an attitude and didn’t return until another 15 minutes… to again get it wrong. The pattern doesn’t end there as we waited some more to sign the receipts. The women’s restroom was atrocious. Kinda expected for a dive, but I didn’t think this place was THIS divey. Never again.

Love this place. Live music every weekend, darts, pool, and quick draw. I’ve lived in Rochester for the last 5 years, and have tried chicken wings at numerous places in the area. I have to honestly say that the chicken wings at The Landing are some of, if not the best I’ve had in Rochester. Just make sure you get them well done(crispy) and extra saucy. I’ve tried a few other menu items, and their burgers are excellent and the portions are very generous. This place is definitely a local-friendly bar, but they treat the non-regulars very well and it has made me come back time and time again. Also, the frequent Groupons are awesome! Recommend coming on a Friday or Saturday evening for food, drinks and music.

My husband and I wanted to try something new, and landed at this place. The food was excellent, we both had burgers, and ordered wings(50 cents on Thursdays) I would go back in a heart beat. I loved the bun on the burger, so tasty. This is definetly a bar first and resturant second. Only negative I have about it is it was a bit confusing when we first walked in. The bar is right there, crowded with people, we wanted to sit at a table and weren’t sure if it was seat yourself or not, no sign. We asked the bartender and she was helpful and told us to pick any table and someone would be right over. Our waitress was super sweet and nice. Overall great experience

This place was awful! The place looked disgusting and like they didn’t care about it. I ordered a diet Pepsi that tasted like five different old sodas mixed together. The food was average. It took a half hour to get when there was no one else waiting. I ordered a bufallo chicken wrap that was nothing special. I could’ve made it myself without the excess grease. Needless to say, I don’t reccomend this place and will not be returning.

This place is basically Cheers to its regulars. It’s nice to have a neighborhood dive like The Landing, but don’t expect it to be much else. The food is really average(don’t order the paninis — they are actually cold subs and not grilled). The portions are just MASSIVE, but the business falls prey to the common misconception of equating quantity with quality. The bartender was a cantankerous a**hole, but in a very tongue-and-cheek endearing kind of way. He could take it just as much as he dished it. The patrons were curiously happy. The atmosphere was familiar and jovial. There’s nothing particularly great here, but nothing too terrible either. Not my first choice for Fairport bars, but you’ll always feel welcome if nothing else.

The food tasted good, but that’s because we were hungry. The various meals took between 60 and 90 minutes to arrive after ordering. And that was for burgers, nothing that should take any time. First and last visit.

Where do I start. We went there because we bought a Groupon. My fiancé and I love to try new place. I was craving wings and this place had them. So I was sold… briefly. When you walk in, you walk into the bar area. There are no signs or staff to point you to the dinning area. We found it eventually and waited to be seated. It was a Friday afternoon, not busy by any means. We waited for 15 – 20 minutes to be seated, and were seated only after we flagged down a waitress. Then we had to flag down a waitress to order drinks another 15 minutes after we were seated. She took our drink order and left. 30 minutes later … no drinks. We then flagged down another lady who was busy using Spic and Span to wash the tables down EEEK. The did comp our drinks which were delivered with our meal. The food was OK, not bad if your drunk and hungry but certainly not worth the wait or frustration if you are simply going out for a meal. I would not recommend this place. If I hadn’t had a Groupon I would have asked for my money back. This is the first time I left a note on my bill. BADSERVICE. If you are at the bar and want some wings then I am sure it’s OK, but not for a sit down meal.

The Landing is a great little bar & grille. We used to come here fairly often with the kids for dinners. Not so much nowadays, but whenever we get a chance we pop on over. Great place to catch one of the local acts that appear here… you can kick back in the bar area or grab a seat at a table. Beer prices are a buck or two cheaper than the hipster bars & the locals are quite congenial. Great wings!

Friendly service and friendly patrons. It’s nice to go to a local bar where you feel like a local your first time there. The food was awesome(and cheap). Come hungry because the portions are plentiful. I’ll be back again… and again. .35 cent wings on weekends — delicious wing BTW — and happy hour all day in Sunday. You can’t go wrong.

I ate here last week and really didn’t care for anything. The seating was uncomfortable, the service extremely slow, one order was prepared wrong, and while my burger was okay, I would avoid the sweet potato fries and iced tea. Neither were good. I look forward to seeing if anyone else reviews this restaurant — maybe it was an off day?

Pretty good food. This is definitely a bar first and restaurant second. However, there is a nice eating area. has a great gift certificate for this place, which saved us $ 25. My GF had a reuban, which seemed a bit fatty. I had a(boring) grilled chicken sandwich as I was trying to eat healthy after our wing appetizer and french onion soup. The wings were outstanding. The sandwich was decent, I’d get it again. There were lots of other very good looking sandwiches and burgers on this menu I’d like to try. I got tater tots with my meal instead of fries and they were freaking awesome. The soup was fair. It wasn’t very salty, which is kind of rare for french onion but it was just OK. They really have a limited menu with lots of good sandwiches, salads and burgers and apps(quesedias, potato skins, wings, etc.) and a fish fry on fri/sat. nights. No steaks, chops, chicken or pasta dishes. I like bar food and I’ll go back. It’s very casual but if you want a real«meal» instead of burgers and wings, go elsewhere. If you’re up for bar food, this was a pretty good place.
