Smoothie King is one of my favorite places for lunch… just not this location. They didn’t make enough of my smoothie to fill the cup, so my friend and I waited for them to remake it. Then the other employee accidentally tipped over my friend’s smoothie. This I didn’t mind because life happens, but it did contribute to a longer wait time. The lady who ordered after us ended up getting her smoothie before us. We were the only people inside. Maybe they were having an off day, but after this experience, I’d much rather drive the extra miles to go to my favorite location in Belleville. I had higher expectations for this Smoothie King and it’s really unfortunate given its location on 159. Oh well.

Don’t come here unless you have a A LOT of time. Slowest service ever all 3 times I have came here. It’s painful. I could have went and ordered a full meal somewhere, waited while they cooked it and been half way done eating by the time the fix a simple smoothie. Then on top of it the straws are too skinny and flimsy to suck anything through the straw. Do you guys not test your own product?

Rude service. Utter crap. Can’t believe I was treated so unfriendly. I did not spend my money here. Worst excuse for a smoothly king I’ve ever been to. I wouldn’t be surprised if this went out of business before Christmas 2015.

I made the sad mistake of going here, one which I will not make again. I was on my way to chipotle in search of a remotely healthy meal after my workout. As I pulled up at 8:55pm the«open» sign was off and they were turning the lights off. Sighing, I drove across the street to smoothie king where the open light was still shining. I thought, surely something remotely healthy can be found here. I walked in to the death glare of two high school looking girls. One rolled her eyes and shouted to the back, «hey we need a blender back» while the other said«I’m gonna turn the light off cause WE’RECLOSED». I should’ve turned around and left right then and there. Pardon me for providing you with my business a few minutes before closing. So I hurried to pick something after being asked 3 times what I wanted within 90 seconds. I settled for a smoothie that had«meal replacement» next to it, thinking it would be the best option for a high protein, low calorie meal. After they begrudgingly made my smoothie and handed it over(additional glares free of charge) I took one sip. Wait no, I’m still sucking on the straw… 3 minutes later, still sucking. It is so thick I can’t drink it. I give it the drive home to thin out. Then I open the lid, it’s literally smoothie smush on the rocks. So I decide to look up the nutritional info to see if the effort is worth the while. And let me tell you what I found: OVER150CARBSINONEFREAKINGCUPOFOVERPRICEDBLENDEDFRUITANDICE. I threw it away and made some broccoli. I didn’t realize that«meal replacement» meant it could replace the #4 meal at McDonalds. Needless to say, the overwhelmingly friendly customer service, high quality and reasonably priced HEALTHCONSCIOUS smoothie left me yearning for more.

Actually didn’t even get to try anything. Went through drive thru and was shocked by the prices. For a moment thought I was back in NY city! Wow almost $ 8.00 for a medium before adding anything!!! Then I asked for gluten free items. The girl wasn’t sure. At that point I decided it wasn’t worth it. Sadly I give this place 6 months.
