DON’T go here if your looking to be seated in a descent amount of time. walked in and told a 15 minute wait which quicklyquickly into 45. They have no idea what is going on in the area i.e. the Allen Event Center… can’t say anything about the food because that is yesterday to be seen. It’s no wonder the other 2 locations of this place have closed. Doesn’t look like they can keep any help either.

I LOVE Patrizio’s food, but the service at this location just plain sucks. I had a party of 14 friends join me for a Christmas get together, and everything that could go wrong, did. The place was freezing, they were out of several selections, they were slower than snails and then added 20% gratuity to the botched separate checks.

I really wanted to like this place. The impression I got walking through the door was«this place looks like a cross between Maggianos and Grand Lux.» It’s super nice. We were greeted by four hostesses, and seated immediately at 6 pm on a Saturday night. The dining room was only about a third full, and two groups were parties. While there are some similarities between this place and Olive Garden, the prices were a bit higher, especially the liquor. Full disclaimer: we were here thanks to Groupon, using a $ 15 groupon for $ 25 deal. We ordered no appetizers, no drinks. We got two entrees and that’s all. The bill, after the $ 25 discount, was $ 15, so two entrees only came to about $ 20 a person. Manchild got the chicken parm and he said it was pretty good, almost identical to OG. I got this really unctuous sounding seafood ravioli, only to be served five(17.97 menu price mind you) ice cold cheese ravioli that I had to send back. Look, I know that these ravioli a in all restaurants are typically frozen, but for $ 18, I expect you to heat them up. The waiter was very apologetic and the manager refired a new plate and brought out the new dish. It was like a completely different dish: more sauce, toppings on the ravioli and six instead of five. So did they not do the right dish the first time? Anyway, the manager and waiter were extremely apologetic so I appreciated that. The ravioli tasted off, like weirdly off. It wasn’t pleasant, but I felt bad after having sent it back the first time. I tried to finish two, and then asked for the rest to go. As the check came, I immediately felt bad. So as the Manchild paid, I went and threw up. I chunked the ravioli in the trash outside, as I’m pretty sure that’s what made me barf, but I can’t say it for sure. There’s nothing special about this place except that it is nice inside. The food just blows, which is unfortunate, because the staff and ambience is awesome. Even with a groupon, I didn’t find this place to be a deal. Proceed with caution. Manchild is fine, so I’d say just stay away from seafood here.

My family took me here last night for my birthday and I had a good time. Since we try to remain low key we decided to sit and order from the bar. The bartender found out it was my birthday and set me up with his Holiday Mule which was awesome. My wife ordered the Mint Chocolate Martini and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Since we had to wait for our youngest daughter to meet us, we ordered some appetizers(goat cheese and their bruschetta). They arrived promptly and were quite tasty. When the rest of the family arrived, we decided to go ahead and order dinner. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana, my daughters each ordered the penne caprese and my wife ordered a Quattro Formaggi pizza. While we waited, we ordered another round of drinks(try Ed’s Slammer!!) and enjoyed talking with our bartender Ed and some of the other patrons at the bar(very friendly atmosphere). The food arrived within a reasonable amount of time and again it was very tasty. The eggplant was smothered with cheese which is the way I like it and the portion was enough to fill you up but not make you feel bloated. The girls ate all of their dishes… my wife couldn’t finish her pizza so took it home. All in all we had an enjoyable time and would come back. Make sure to ask if Ed is bartending!

I’m really disappointed in Patrizios after my third visit. The first time was excellent, and it was several years ago at this location. The last two visits have been not as good, with the third visit being worse than the second. When the food is excellent, I can usually overlook any issues in customer service, but if the food begins to decline, then I won’t return. Sadly, I will not return to Patrizios. The service is by far the worst part about this location. I overlooked it the first few times, but it really does put a damper on a special night out when the servers look like they would rather be at the dentist than doing their job. This time they forgot to get me a cappuccino that I ordered and had mentioned to them THREE times throughout the meal. When I asked her about it, she kept saying that she was waiting to see if they brought dessert, but I really do not believe her answer. In any case, I won’t be returning. Sad, because I love this place.

For the 5th year in a row, we went to Patrizio for Christmas Dinner. We were extremely disappointed. The service was slow, the food was bland and the pork shank was served ice cold — almost questioned if it was cooked. As the waiter walked off, he proceeded to touch the pork chop with his finger. Then came back and told me they were heating it up. Needless to say, I didn’t eat it. We all remained in the Christmas spirit, but the experience at this restaurant was not a good one. We will start a new tradition next year.

We had some problems with a pickup order at Christmas Eve, but Jonathan’s efforts to make it right with us deserve 5 stars. Spaghetti and baked ziti were excellent. Every business will have some problems, but excellent customer service goes a long way to keeping customer loyalty.

The main entrees wer very good, but the calimari appetizer was chewy and VERY greasy. I guess they need to change out their fryer oil, because it was not good. We asked the expediter what the green dipping sauce was and he did not know. It ended up being the only tasty part of the appetizer. The service was mediocre to bad, the whole staff seems to be very young and not trained at all. They could not even find a pasta spoon for my wife’s dinner… there was less than 9 tables on a Sat night at 8pm… The bright spot was the reasonably priced wine. We skipped dessert and went somewhere else. A few minor tweeks and this could be a decent place, but I doubt they will fire the whole staff and all the cooks…

Wish there was a no star to a negative star option for this restaurant. Kind of hard to go back to a place where the service was horrible, food average at best, and expensive. The icing on the cake to this horrible dinner adventure was that my entire family became ill with salmonella food poisoning from what we believe to be the spinach artichoke dip as it was the only thing we all shared. If you have never had salmonella, let me put it this way, no restaurant can make up for how awful you felt. Eat at your own risk.

So disappointed! Patrizo’s in Highland Park Village was a favorite, and it has been years since I visited. Hubby and I went to the Fairview location on a Tuesday night to celebrate a low-key anniversary. The food was good, but the service was horrible! My wine glass was littered with water spots. Had to ask for bread, had to ask for olive oil & balsamic dipping sauce, had to ask to cracked pepper on my pasta, had to ask for more water. Was not even finished with our mean when the waiter dropped the check on the table. Guess we did not want any tiramisu. Hopefully, the C-team wait staff was due to a weeknight.

I just… am so disappointed. My husband and I went to Patrizio this afternoon for a late lunch and to try their special on pizzas and left so disappointed. We had the bruschetta appetizer to start off with and were happy with it, but when the pizzas came out it was a whole different story. Do not fall for their pizza special, they are so bad I couldn’t even finish my first piece. You can tell the dough is pre-packaged, our pizzas were undercooked and the cheese is average at best. I’m giving it two stars because our service was very good. The server was very attentive and always made sure we had full drinks and everything we needed. But, we will not be returning to Patrizio.

Just had a great dinner here with the family. We had the chicken mushroom lasagna(divine), shrimp tanglorini(flavorful with jumbo shrimps) and a spicy crumbled sausage pizza that were all very tasty! Nice and classy atmosphere with beautiful wall paintings. Jared was our waiter-he’s very courteous with awesome service… made our dining experience even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back to try out some other dishes.

Boyfriend and I both ordered a pasta dish that they had recommended and both were quite bland. My cocktail(peach martini) was not worth the $ 12. Food overall was a 2/5, still better than Olive Garden With that said, the décor and feel of the restaurant is quite nice, very elegant, the pricing of food almost seem low in comparison, service was good and a nice touch with offering mouth wash in the restrooms! We had a groupon deal for this visit, if we hadn’t this wouldn’t be our Italian restaurant of choice

I honestly would be writing a mini novel(novella?) if I told you everything that went wrong. Not a good experience at all. Food not good. Desserts not good; dry. Chef Boyardee is better. Manager gave us a card for five for next time, which would be a nice remedy, but the food is not worth going back, even for free. Server was very friendly. Three of the five of us will not go back for the free meals. For the price, we expected better quality food.

Waited at the front door, no one came to greet us, hostess station was empty, nothing but a phone charging. Went to the bar. 4 people were there, locals or regulars. 5 tables were seated, waiter came to visit and told us to sit anywhere. The first empty table was dirty, the second has crumbs in the seats, pretty amazing for a slow as it seemed. July has special for peach Bellini, those were good, slow for the first one, felt nervous to order food. The other locations, Highland Park and Plano have ALWAYS been packed and great service, not sure what’s happen here? Too bad, great possibilities.

Casual Italian fare. Good was mediocre. The pasta was cooked well and the chicken very well.

Uggggh! This place is not worth the roulette you have to play with your food. The good: — The minestrone soup is surprisingly good — very rich and tomatoey. — The cheese in the mozzarella platter is yummy. I love burrata! — The veggie plate with The bad: — A lot of food is very inconsistently prepared, tastes bad, or is cooked poorly — We don’t get what’s specified on the menu The waitstaff is pretty amateur feeling. They’ve messed up a bit, but the kitchen is what makes me give this a 1-star. I’ve been here at least four times. I’ve always gotten the Mozzarella plate. It’s been different every time. Like, sometimes it has the semi-dried tomatoes, sometimes not. one time it didn’t have any fresh tomatoes, only semi-dried and peppers. There’s never any mention by the waitstaff of how it will differ from the menu. The cheese is always yummy, but the dish is CRAZY expensive for TX: $ 17(The menu on their web site is out of date; I’m almost certain it was $ 17 when I ordered it last time). I got the Eggplant Parmesan twice. The first time, the pasta or its sauce was just gross, somehow. The second time, the pasta was fine and the eggplant was badly undercooked, tough as hell. I couldn’t finish it. The Penne Caprese(which both servers who mentioned it called«ca-preeze») was alright, but flat. Needs more/bigger chunks of veggies, more tomatoes, something. They don’t have an espresso machine, so no cappuccino with your dessert. This is a surprise for such a big Italian restaurant. The drip coffee I got was either stale or brewed in a coffee machine that hadn’t been cleaned in a while. I ordered some kind of pear/cake dessert(which is not on the web site’s menu). Guess what? No pear. A slice of a strawberry, instead. I don’t mind having strawberry, but nobody even _mentioned_that the menu was inaccurate or they were out of pears or… anything. The look of the place is *way* too grand and done-up for how crappy the food and service is. It’s amusing that the hosts/hostesses always look like they’re dressed up to go to a dinner party. The plants are fake. This place is not worth it.

Just went to lunch with my family here. I t has been a few years since we last visited. We had a good experience back then and was looking forward to visit again. This time is not the same. When we went in, no one was there to greet us. It took a good few minutes before someone came and seated us. Then our server came with ice water without asking if we would like something else to drink. We ordered the chicken parmesan, linguine with mussels with pesto sauce and the canneloni. The linguine was in white sauce instead of the pesto we ordered. The mussels have a strange taste. I usually don’t like to waste food but I didn’t want to finish them because of the taste. The canneloni was OK, but somehow it tastes like there is something missing. The chicken parmesan was the best out of all three. Throughout our meal, different servers came to help us but all of them seem to be lack of experience. They were polite but had to apologize frequently due to the mistakes they made. When it was time for the check, I showed the server the Groupon on my phone. She took my phone and disappeared into the back room for a while before she returned with our check. I don’t know if it is common practice to take customers’ phone away, but it made me feel uncomfortable having my phone in a stranger’s hand and unable to see what is being done to it. We stopped by the ladies’ room before we left. It was not well-kept at all. There was toilet paper on the floor and it smelled bad. The toilet paper roll was just laying on top of an empty roll tube on the rack. To summarize, I think the management is doing a poor job at training their wait staff, monitoring the quality of the food and the cleanliness of the restaurant. The only reason I give 2 stars is for the portion size of the dishes we ordered and the elegant décor. It is sad to see a once high-quality restaurant became so bad. I don’t think i will return.

Tasty fresh lunch. Treated my wife to a lunch date that started with an appetizer of crab cakes.(Texas blue crabs) Wife ordered fettuccini pappagano; I ordered tomato basil soup and Cobb salad. For dessert, she had tiramisu and I had biscotti with coffee. This is a refreshing place to have a delicious lunch. Come on by!

Came here while visiting family in Allen and was pleased with the food, though service was a bit slow. I got the baked goat cheese appetizer and a house salad as my meal. House salad was really good! Baked goat cheese was not as good as I anticipated. Everyone else in my party enjoyed their meals as well. We split a tiramisu and a triple chocolate cake for dessert. Tiramisu was good, however triple chocolate cake was very dense and thick. I could not withstand more then one bite. Prices are similar to Olive Garden and seems like they have really great deals for lunch.
