The food here is phenomenal and the service is even better. This Portuguese takeout concept is unique to the south coast. I’ve eaten here several times and the quality has been consistent. Great options for catering gatherings of any size. Try the clamcakes!

Over priced and not that good honestly. It really doesn’t taste like feast food. Fries are delicious though. Quahog stuffing a bit bland. Chicken mozambique is average. Won’t be getting food from here again.

I like the concept of this place, but unfortunately I just did not like the food. The first time I had the cacoila sandwich, and it was just not good. There really isn’t any other way to put it lol I decided to give them one more shot and went again. I got the chourico sandwich figuring I couldn’t go wrong with a chourico sandwich in Fall River… but I was wrong. It was definitely a below average sandwich. Overall I was disappointed. I was so excited for this place to open!

Ordered the specials –Shrimp Mozambique and the Pork Alentejana. Both were absolutely delicious! The shrimp were nice and large. I ordered it with fries and rice. Yum. The taste of the sauce in the pork Alentejana is so good. I will be back. Nice job guys!

We frequented Avos twice already and both times the food was excellent. Stuffing was just like the one you get at the feast. The only thing that could be changed is in the sandwiches they were soaking in sauce by the time you got them home they weren’t sandwiches anymore. That goes for the chourico, Mozambique and cacoila sandwiches. Everything else was excellent.

I have frequented Avo’s a number of times. I have found their sandwiches to be very good. The chourico and pepper sandwich was tasty and appropriately spicy, the bifana sandwich featured deliciously marinated pork and the cocoila was probably the best I have had. Avo’s quahog stuffing is to die for. The Portuguese soup is tasty, but has far too much pasta and not enough kale. No visible kidney beans in the soup? This is a no no. Now the bad. Today I had their daily special, Avo’s Crab Meat and Potatoes. There was no crab meat in the dish. It was loaded with imitation crab meat, also known as sea legs. It was worse than terrible. The name of the dish was very misleading. Shame on them. Hopefully this will be corrected. I would have given this place four stars if l had not had this horrific meal.

I came early hoping the food Food was ok i dont know what all the hype was about. My chicken was ok little too grilled, dry i can tell the flavor would’ve been better had it not been overcooked. The potato were cooked good. The flavor eh… the onions they put on top were too tangy. the bread was awesome. Super clean nice and helpful staff. Would i go back? Not to sure

Excellent, reasonable food. Had bifanas sandwich and favas, both were excellent. Prices were perfect, and atmosphere was casual. Will certainly be coming back!

Came here on a late Saturday afternoon for takeout. Place was steady but not crazy busy. I went with the bifana sandwich and the feast fries. Quality of the food was spot on. Service was relatively quick and friendly. Total bill came to $ 8.01. My only suggestion would be to increase the portion size. After finishing my meal, I was still a bit hungry. Lol. Seriously, I felt that the portion size was a bit small for $ 8. Maybe larger size fries and possibly one more slice of meat. Only my humble, personal opinion. Interior was nicely decorated and had a nice/cool vibe. Overall, place is a nice addition to our community. Nicely done!!!

Friendly service, and food that reminds you of happy times in life. Avo’s feast is specialized in Portuguese comfort food. I had a biffana, feast fries and the quahog stuffing. My fiancée got the cacoila. So, so very delicious. If you want some rib sticking, spicy, salty and melt in your mouth food, eat here.

So I finally came to see what all rave and talk about Avo’s was all about! So I was told that the food at this restaurant was«feast» inspired like the feasts during the summer! I understood the whole concept, but the food quality looks nothing like something you would get at the feast! So I got the Mozimbique sandwich, fries, and some favas… So the Mozimbique is soaking in this sauce that I myself couldn’t distinguish if it was Mozimbique or not… It could’ve of used less beer and more sazon for more flavor! Let’s just say they were not afraid to use hot sauce! I live close by and by the time I got home my sandwich was no longer a sandwich but a sloppy and soggy mess! The best thing about my meal was my fries to be honest! The favas were just plain with no taste and again loaded with hot sauce! I’m sorry but if your trying to portray Portuguese food as a fast food, at least get the taste down packed! I think they need to revisit their recipes and tweak them a bit and make them more authentic! Being Portuguese and all I’ve had better Portuguese food then what I just had for dinner! I gave them 2 stars for the effort and that they had my favorite dessert, flan! But if the flan is floating on the same boat as the food, I’m not sure if I’d be coming back here… Reasonable pricing, but I would like to see the quality and taste of the food become more authentic to be worth it!

My girlfriend and my friend and myself stopped in for lunch i had the chicken Mozambique and it was very blah no flavor and watery, my girlfriends cacoila was not too bad but again not very flavorful and my friends fish was small empty pieces of batter had to have new pieces made and was better but not too flavorful.

My wife and I went for lunch. My wife had the Cacoila sandwich, I had the Chicken Mozambique sandwich with a side of Feast Fries. Tender meat with a little kick! Terrific food, large portions, great price.
