Brothers Bistro

Went there with my husband & 1yo and we LoVe the food and atmosphere. The outdoor seating was awesome because our daughter can get loud, and also because the fish pond they have out there kept our daughter pretty occupied while waiting for our food.
We ordered the stuffed mushrooms for appetizer – a must-​have! We didn’t leave anything on that plate. I ordered the lasagna which both my daughter and I loved. My husband had the special of the day – swordfish with saffron rice I believe. He couldn’t stop raving to me about how great it tasted!
We went there to try the Calamari that we saw on the menu online but we’re a little disappointed that they were not serving it that day. not sure if the menu online is outdated or if the menu varies day-​by-​day but we were told the calamari would probably be brought out on the weekend. We still cannot wait to go back! Hopefully they will have calamari then!

My family and I just had a very terrible experience with this restaurant without ever actually making it inside the business itself. We contacted this restaurant about a month before we wanted to host a rehearsal dinner at their restaurant. After weeks and weeks of insisting that we upgrade the package we had talked about, the owner just cancelled on us one week before our event. They sent a very rude and insulting email in which they essentially told us we weren’t spending enough money for it to be worth their time. They told us we had an «unreasonable» budget and that our guests would leave their restaurant hungry and very unsatisfied. If they did not want the business, that is fine. It is their private business and they have a right to refuse service to anyone. But they could’ve handled the situation in a much more professional manner. Not only did they lose the business for the night, but we will make sure our 25 guest at the rehearsal dinner and 100+ guest at our wedding know what unpleasant group of people run this establishment. We will never give this restaurant another chance, the way they handle business is simply unacceptable. Don’t believe me? Read the one star reviews for this restaurant. They all have to do with their poor customer service and cite the management/​owners as the root of those problems.

I was not impressed with the $$ meal the bread for the starter seemed very small portion and very small bread had the steak was dry sorry maybe I’ll try another night and it will be better

Started with a side salad, the presentation was great. Got their signature Bistro Combo Pizza, personal size, and it was really good. At first I wanted some extra pizza sauce on the side, but forgot all about it after the first bite so I am glad Andy, the Waiter, forgot it (the sauce MAKES or BREAKS the pizza, and their sauce is fantastic, so much so it didn’t need more). Pleasantly full after finishing, glad I didn’t order the larger pizza. This place deserves more customers: good environment, good wait staff, good management and great food.

Had the pleasure of dining with dear friends at Brother’s last evening and it was such a fine, fine meal! We were thinking of going to Oink and Moo which we also love but decided to switch it up this time. We each ordered different items and shared bites and got to sample a few things.
We started with the stuffed mushrooms, savory perfectly seasoned and just Oh Wow good, not to be missed. The sea bass was cooked PERFECTLY as in sooo juicy, as were the shrimp in the Scampi. My sausage calzone was absolutely delicious– was that ricotta in there too? I wanted about seven or eight items on the menu — and what a menu it is!- so I look forward to going back for more. Keep those hits coming!
What a lucky thing to have the choice of dining in such a place in our tiny little community.

This is one of my favorite local restaurants. The food is always delicious and served hot. I’ve tried a variety of items, all good, but tend to revert right back to my favorites; Grilled Vegetable, Herb and Goat Cheese Sandwich, or the Southwest Chicken salad. Their Classic Caesar Salad is the best around town, for sure! The service is great! They are quick to bring you water and a menu, and quick to check back. During the beautiful spring and summer weekend evenings, they often have live music on their patio. Such a lovely place to sip a glass of wine and relax. You won’t be disappointed!

Best little restaurant in Fallbrook! Great food, great atmosphere and great fun!

Brothers Bistro is a lovely place for locals and visitors. Good food, good atmosphere, completely enjoyable.

Met friends at this place for the first time on Valentine’s Day for dinner. Our first clue should have been the scarcity of customers in the restaurant. The menu was a mandatory 4 course meal for $ 60 a head. It was that or nothing. I and my fiancée ordered the sea bass and it was bland with no real seasonings. One of the courses was soup or salad so we ordered the clam chowder which arrived lukewarm at best. The waitress was nowhere to be seen as our group of six and one other couple were the only ones on the patio so we finally just gave up and ate it cool. By the time we got to dessert which I had ordered at the onset, they claimed they were out of chocolate mousse so I had to eat a very thin sliver of what was obviously store bought cheesecake. Overall, this was extremely overpriced for what you got. Food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. Totally not impressed and will warn friends about this overpriced and mediocre restaurant. Wish we’d gone to Rainbow Restaurant instead – less expensive and much better quality food!

Great entrees !! Besides cooking our meat perfectly They know how make soup — reduction sauces– and vegetables! Love the lamp chops — and my hubby loves the fresh fish and seafood. All for a decent price… This is our bi weekly treat to ourselves — we even went went for their special thanksgiving feast — stuffing and maple glazed butternut squash was amazing — Thank you Brothers– and I would be remiss to not mention our server who is just great too!

This place was recommended to us by a friend who lives in Fallbrook so we decided to drive from Oceanside and try it out. The service was great and the food was delicious! The patio seating was nice, quiet with perfectly dim lights. The atmosphere was pleasant. This place is a perfect casual spot to dine with a great menu. We will definitely be coming back here again.

Best ciopinno I’ve ever had! I’ve had ciopinno in some of the best restaurant in San Francisco, LA, and San Diego. This restaurants cipinno was so good. The seafood was fresh and the red wine tomato base was perfect. You have to try it. The seafood was perfectly cooked. So many restaurants overcook their seafood when making this dish but they nailed it. Oh and the olive and goat cheese flat bread is on point. The crust had that brick oven taste. So delicious. I am going to try one of their pizzas next time. Other dishes were great as well such as the Chicken Picatta, the homemade lasagna, and shrimp Scampi.
Our server Robyn was great, super sweet, and attentive. Definitely the best experience I’ve had in a while.
Oh and they have live music on Friday nights!!!

Brothers Bistro has a welcoming, warm, family feel to its lovely ambiance and fine food. The owner and staff are always ready to greet you like friends. The chicken picata, pizza, salmon, salads, soups, and pastas have all been cooked beautifully and delicious! I look forward each and every time I go to Brothers Bistro. The experience has always been terrific!

Amazing!!! #1 the smell when you walk thru the door makes you start drooling. # then they bring bread sticks that melt in your mouth. # 3 the food is beyond delicioso. Best meatball I have ever had in my life. (I’m Italian & sorry grandma!!) #4 the service is perfect! I can see myself being a wallflower here! Thank you Ron!!! See you soon!

Great service with a beautiful courtyard to enjoy the evening. Music is live when we went. The owners were very attentive.

Visited Brother’s Bistro for the second time this evening and once again I’m very impressed! My husband and I both ordered two or their three specials offered. I had the picatta style halibut and my husband had the french style rosemary pork chop, both were absolutely amazing. The pork chop was so tender and juicy and the fish was cooked to perfection. Robin gave us amazing service to complement our meal. Thank you again Robin, you’re wonderful! Love this place!

Pleasant surroundings in the garden, excellent service. Food was sufficient in quality & quantity, but not outstanding enough to justify the prices $$$ This place does not rank high on my Fallbrook Restaurant list.
I should note that i am not a big pasta/​italian food fan to begin with so i may be unnecessarily stringent in my evaluation. However, i have eaten at italian restaurants where the pasta is made fresh every day — you can taste the difference. This is *not* one of those places; thus my gripe anout the prices.

I have visited Brother’s with my parents who live in Fallbrook on a number of occasions. On our most recent visit I had an unfortunate experience with the lamb that I ordered. I am a lamb lover and was excited to indulge but to my disappointment the lamb came out and was pretty much inedible. It smelled awful, was sitting in a pool of oil, and burned my mouth it tasted so bad. It really shouldn’t have ever been served to anyone. Luckily our waitress was gracious and made sure to get me a new meal. I chose to have the crab cakes as my second choice and they were delicious. Everyone else at my table seemed very pleased with their meals and I can attest that both the crab bisque and clam chowder were very tasty.
That said, this experience definitely left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended) but I would be willing to give them another chance someday.

Absolutely lovely spot in Fallbrook. We had the white pizza with mushrooms, calamari appetizer, ceased salad and the crab bisque. Crab bisque was absolutely superb! Amazing bread with oil & vinegar!
Our waitress was so sweet and friendly and told us all about her avocado ranch.
Definitely check this place out! Get fresh cracked pepper on everything!

Best pizza in town. Best patio dining in town.
Owner run and operated, so the quality is high and consistent. Many Italian dinner choices and wines to choose from. Always specials and wonderful desserts.
Not to be missed when in Fallbrook.
