Their Chilquilaes(forgive my spelling of this!) are the best on Earth!!! Get them with the red sauce and you’ll be thanking me! Enjoy :)

My burrito didn’t come with what I ordered in it and when I told them they wanted to charge me again and the hot sauce sucks. Shitty customer service. Will not go again

Great fast food alternative. Take it to go if you don’t want to feed the flies in the outdoor seating area.

i have to admit that the street tacos are great. the lengua burrito was great. there are seats outdoor on picnic benches. they only take cash so if you don’t have any, they will direct you to the liquor store next door. the $ 5 charge on the machine influenced me to leave and make sure that the next time i brought cash. don’t eat the fish tacos. we ordered six for three of us. the fish was so fishy and smelly that it was quickly spit out. bad fish makes you sick. if they can’t store their fish correctly you may be the one that gets sick.

Great authentic cheap Mexican food. We ordered the vegetarian quesadilla, grilled chicken chimichanga, and grilled fish taco. Everything was great and portions were generous. Everything plus a couple cans of soda was around $ 17. The meat(chicken and fish) were good quality and not gristly or greasy. The rice(in the chimichanga filling) had good flavor. We went on a Sunday afternoon and there was a middle school aged kid working the cash register. I’m guessing he was the only one who spoke English, so if you don’t speak enough Spanish to order, you might want to come on a weekend rather than a school day. It’s cash only and there is a small outdoor seating area(it does have a tarp over it for some shade), but I’d suggest taking it to go. Since there’s no real ambience, I’d not suggest this for a date place or anything, but it’s great when taken to go. They pack it well so it won’t spill, and they include plastic cutlery and napkins. I’ll definitely be back!

Hole in the wall, just like Mexico! Ask for the Chiliquilles with eggs and steak(pay the extra couple bucks). Awesome Mexican breakfast!

I must be the only one to hate this place. My brother recommended it claiming they had delicious tacos. However I got tacos de caveza and I had to spit it right out because it tasted so gross. Waste of money had to throw em out… Service was great though that is why they get a 2.

I’ve grabbed food to go from here when visiting the liquor store. If there’s one food I know, it’s Mexican. I think I probably got a chile verde plate, it’s usually my go to meal. The food and hot sauces were good. But these Mexican places not accepting cards is inconvenient! You lose business this way. To Chris J, you can’t judge a place by rolled tacos, if there’s one food that’ll be frozen, it these. Try some real food next time, & Jack in Box across the street as a better choice? Seriously?

It’s the Village Taco — Everyone’s had a bite! On my few trips to Fallbrook I’ve always wanted to try this place and I finally had the pleasure on my wedding day of all days. Yes after an early ceremony and reception I was craving a carnitas torta and boy did the Village Taco deliver. Cash only and all the ambiance of outdoor tables on Mission Road. I am intrigued over their«Hawaiian» tortas but I did not have the chance to try them. Probably the closest you’ll get to Lolita’s quality in that neck of the woods. Excellent.

I love this little hole in the wall! Cash only. Authentic mexican. I love to order food to go then go next door to village liquor and pick up some beer then head home and feast. The adobada fries are so good. All the burritos are good. This is one of our staples.

So good! I love this place. The only reason I’m not giving a full 5 stars is because my husband is not a fan of their chorizo. They have ceviche which is delicious. Their breakfast is great and they serve more than just burritos. Breakfast tacos and plates too! The don’t have an indoor dining area but they do have a wonderful patio and in Fallbrook it is always great to sit outside. It is right next door to Village Market & Spirits so we go grab drinks there. My husband and friends have even bought cold beer to have with their food.
