Louie’s Ace Home Center

This place use to carry a friendly vibe. We could go in there and ask for anything under the sun. Staff would know the store they would be able to tell you where exactly to walk before they took us there. Now we walk in there and have to rely on our memory from prior trips. For some reason all of the old veterans are being replaced by rookies that not even tell you the department it should be in. Thank Goodness for Ken still being there. We buy a bunch of paint frequently from there and he is the only one left that knows what they are doing. Last year I went in to get touch up paint Jim told me that it was impossible to make it because of a new system. Thank Goodness Coral walked up and made him walk away to give me what I asked for. Another time Marion took his time to truly find out what I needed in the bolt area. It may have took longer than the company expected but he got the correct items the first time. My one wish would be to see Bill, Tim, Coral, Claudia, and Barb as part of the family again.

THIS STORE SUCKS!!! Horrible customer service been harassed by the managers because of the way I look even when purchasing something GO SOMEWHERE ELSE don’t support places like this!!!

Did you know that they have a bunch of party supplies and rentals like bounce houses? I hope the weather is nice the day of my sons party! If not, I can cancel THAT DAY. Also, Louie’s Dollar Store has tons of party supplies. Great stores.

Remember the old Mom and Pop places? This is one of them. You go in, tell them what you want or what you are trying to do and they actually know their products, where things are located and can help you find it fast. The kind of service that you never find in WalMart, Kmart, Target or any of the other big box stores. It is also a lot bigger than you expect just looking at it from the front.
If they do not have what you need then you had better plan a trip to Reno.

Once again Matt and this stores staff went above and beyond to help my uncle. Thank you is not enough. When ever I am in Fallon I will always go to Louie’s Ace Home Center.

Today we went to Louie’s to see Santa. We would like to suggest that next year when Santa is in town, that he should ask for a can of food for a picture with him and your dog to help with the local food pantry and less fortunate. We would like to thank Santa for allowing us to get our picture taken with him and our two dogs Buddy and Rock E. We would have posted the pictures but could not find Louie’s on Facebook.

I agree with Steve, this is a nice Ace hardware store. The layout was great, and everything was organized. They had a lot of merchandise — much more than I’ve ever seen in another Ace store. The staff was very friendly, and while they didn’t have exactly what we were looking for, they made sure that we knew what they had that was close. It is worth checking out Louie’s if you are in the Fallon, NV area.

Probably one of the best hardware stores i’ve ever seen.
Almost a destination in itself. A must see when you are in Fallon.
