Just get the super burrito. Best burrito in town. And make sure to get some red and green sauce on there.

Good little place to grab quick Mexican food. Had the ceviche tostada, it was really good and had a fair amount of shrimp in it. Second item ordered was the California Burrito, not since I left San Diego have I had one and I must say… it’s pretty darn good and damn near a full pound as it should be.

Love their breakfast burritos, and their $ 1.00 tacos on Tuesdays. Very friendly and great selection of food and beverages. But it is more of a take out kind of restaurant.

The best Carne Asada in town, and great fresh chips. Very quick service. Order your food at the counter or call it in to bring it home.

After living in San Diego and visiting various locations in Mexico my expectations are pretty high and Azteca Bakery didn’t meet them. I was hoping that with all the great reviews that this would deliver. The place is overall clean and there is beer which you can buy in 6 packs, cool! I went to the sauce bar, which was empty and picked up one of two salsa options in squeeze bottles… oh well, it was late. They probably put away the other offerings, but what was out was In my opinion bland. I Ordered my «super burrito» which was a mistake, I think I Americanized a good dish and may have ruined my own dining experience, but, I was hungry and waited. The price was reasonable, service fast and portions large. The food came out, and I began eating. I found the rice mushy, the beef overcooked/dry and the cheese not melted and the beans watery. The whole burrito was just a mushy mess and lacked any significant flavors. Unfortunately, from seeing the other diners, I think this is als legit as it comes in Fallon. On a positive note the tortilla was perfect and held up to the soupy mess that was my burrito. I’ll pass on Mexican in Fallon as this was my last great hope. Portions are huge, but I would happily take less food for an increase in quality.

Absolutely fantastic! Greatest authentic Mexican food north of San Diego and the coldest beer I have ever been served!

I ate here over the weekend and it was delish! I shared the California burrito and a chicken quesadilla. Both were awesome! This place is definitely authentic– the menu is in Spanish.

Not impressed with the food. I got the combo taco plate which was ok not spectacular. A bit of a language barrier and a bit pricey for what you get. Wouldn’t recommend.

Great authentic Mexican food! Be bold. Try the tacos de lengua(beef tongue) or ceviche tostadas. They sell out of buche(pork belly) in the morning so I still haven’t tried it. Azteca is very informal but certainly not dumpy. They have a good selection of Mexican beer and soda, and generally a selection of pastries, however the taqueria menu is definitely their best feature. And the staff is friendly! Enjoy some terrific Mexican food in Nevada today!

Great Mexican restaurants are hard to find. But when you find it you never let go. This is one of those places. Excellent food and service. Simple real authentic Mexican specialties.

Good solid restaurant provided you know what to eat. Their burritos, both breakfast and regular, are outstanding. Their chili relleno is very tasty as well. However, I’ve had a few dishes that made me scratch my head, their super nachos for example. However, the good outweighs the bad and the burritos are pretty fantastic, so I’ll keep coming back.

We should go more often. I had lunch with my husband today and the food was really good. I had the tacos that are in the profile picture with a little bit of green salsa. Yum. He had a burrito and loved it. Definitely give it a try!

A generally sound taco /burrito joint. A very no trims style and help yourself vs table service restaurant. There is a pretty vast menu here for all the classics. I went for tacos having previously had a burrito here. Ive seen some rave reviews here, but in the bigger picture the taco was just average, good solid food. Portions are really generous and the prices are really cheap and good value. The food is presented ok, but I was disappointed with what was obviously not fresh guacamole lacking flavor(bought from outside presumably), when I was there there were only mild hot sauces on offer. All being said, its a rustic cheap joint which throws out some solid food, i’d definately go for burrito vs taco, give the chips a miss! Worth a visit! Good value.

We were hightailing it through the Fallon/Reno area when we decided to stop for lunch. I pulled into this place because it looked authentic. OMG. My ceviche tostada was so good, I ordered another one. My husband’s carne asada burrito was excellent, he said. We talked about our lunches there for days afterwards. Granted, I’m a gringo, but I spent a good number of my childhood weekends in the early 1960s being dragged to Tijuana from San Diego because my mother was tighter than a rusted nut and knew that groceries would be less expensive there. I ate a lot of street food and developed a taste for Tijuana’s food carts. Tortas, ceviche, fresh tortillas, grilled stringy beef, etc. I continue to try to relive the culinary experiences of my five-year-old stomach, mostly with limited success. The food at this panaderia was not like the street food of Tijuana, but it was still damned good. As soon as they run light rail from Seattle to Fallon, I’ll be there at least once a week.

I’m in Fallon for a couple weeks for a school at the NAS out here. This place was recommended by the front desk clerk at the Holiday Inn. Boy was he right! The place was mostly empty, which I found surprising. It was about 5, so maybe folks eat later around here. I ordered the Pork Burrito Supreme(I didn’t see the California Burrito, which has fries inside. Next time…). In about five minutes, my number was called, and the lady behind the counter pushed what looked like a small baby wrapped in foil toward me. I grabbed some brined jalapenos and the verde sauce, then told my self«Myself, you will eat only half of this massive burrito.» When Myself took the first bite into the shredded porkey, guacamole-ey, ricey, cheesey deliciousness inside, he said«%$#^ you I’m eating this whole thing.». It was sooo goooood, and only like 6 bucks too! Afterward, I had my first fit of heartburn ever. I’m getting old. Bottom line: Eat here, and get the California burrito.
