Favorite spot in Falmouth! Loved the calamari, tuna and steak. Best part for me was the mocktails menu for the pregnant lady :)

Came here around 8 on a Friday night. Got a seat at the bar immediately and didn’t have to wait. Started with app of freshly shucked oysters and shrimp with a glass of rose. — oysters were fresh and delicious. Main meal was cod. Fish was cooked perfectly. Dessert was crème brûlée infused with bay leaf. Was amazing and had a depth of flavor that I didn’t expect. Ambience is on point. Service was top notch. Kitchen is open and one can see the food coming up. Place is very clean and organized.

The food here is just incredible. My cousin had her wedding«brunch» here. They started out with fresh fruit and hand made croissants. The food was so good. For the main course I had flat iron steak over potatoes and asparagus. Cooked to perfection. The Crème Brûlée was the capper to the meal. Everything was so fresh and the atmosphere was incredible.

Delicious! We went in looking for appetizers and drinks and everything was amazing. The salmon crudo should be a must order for everyone. So good!

Top notch service and food. Good cocktails and wine list. Tuna tartar app and romaine salads were very good, but the main meals were the highlights! Loved the flat iron steak and my husband loved the tuna. The s’mores dessert was out of this world. If you arrive earlier than your reservation or have to wait they have an upstairs lounge to hang out in and they serve drinks up there, as well as an outside lounge area. I was very impressed!

Love love love! IF you can get a reservation AND dont mind being very cozy with your neighbor eating next to you it is nothing short of awesomeness. Fabulous wine list, never had a bad seafood dish and every dessert is divine. Go early and eat leisurely. Pricey but worth every penny!

The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. I had the steak frites With grilled asparagus and house cut truffle fries. My girlfriend had a delicious vegetarian plate consisting of 4 tasty and delightful options. The wine topped it off. In addition the mason jar S’more was outstanding!

Went for our anniversary and… MAN…best choice! We had a reservation so we didn’t wait for seating and our server, Taylor, promptly introduced herself & offered drinks. When she came back with them I ordered the Thai Calamari app… it was DELISH! My hub and I ordered our dinner… mine being the swordfish, and his being the winter salad with flank steak. Both were AMAZING… they actually made his VERY rare, just as he likes it but every other restaurant is afraid to make it to order that way, and the grilled swordfish literally melted in my mouth. OMGITWASSOOOOOOO good… best swordfish dish I’ve ever had… and I live in the North Shore which is famous for its restaurants featuring swordfish. The Mason Jar S’mores was an unbelievable closer to an otherwise nearly perfect meal… Taylor even put a little candle in my dessert to make it special for our wedding anniversary. She was so attentive and knowledgable of every item on the menu… and the owner/manager came out and checked on us himself not once but TWICE! All in all, I’d highly recommend C. Salt to anyone visiting Falmouth. The only downside I experienced was our table was right in front of a door either to another bar or dining room and I had to keep scooching closer to the wall for people to go in & out… and the noise level was a little high… but none of it was enough to take away from the otherwise awesome experience. Believe me, I very, VERY rarely give 5 stars unless I really feel an establishment deserves it, and C. Salt most definitely does.

Was delighted to find out this place has city food in a small beach town. We made a reservation for 6– they fill up fast and were seated right away. Start with warm bread from the local French bakery that’s delivered daily. Our server Taylor was most helpful and directed me towards the perfect glass of wine, rather than pushing the priciest product she got to know what I was really looking for and found a perfect match. We decided to share two entrees, the salmon which was cooked to perfection and the vegetable sampler which is a sample of 4 different side vegetable dishes. All were amazing– tons of flavor and all unique. The only thing id tell the chef is not to include the side that already came with out salmon(wasabi whipped potatoes, yum!) we were more than full but decided to get dessert… dessert was okay but the dinner and the service was the real treat. We will be back :)

Awesome food from the apps to the deserts. Wine list is one of the best in the area. But what really sets it apart is the service. Waitress was perfect and manager/sommelier Errol was great. Can’t wait to get back soon.

Sesame Hoisin Wings… Shrimp cocktail to start. The ten wings prompted us to say how we want to come back and sit with friends for 3 orders of wings, martini’s and a taxi ride back to the boat for the Vineyard. Amazing! Wish they opened for lunch, one, just ONE afternoon. 2 orders of the shrimp special and an order of short ribs, perfectly done with all of the entrée’s with the most amazing sauce that made a fat kid look for more bread to mop it up with. That was the fat kid next to us at another table, i’m just«husky». I love the size of the restaurant, I love the heat from the kitchen gently warming the room with just the right amount of heat, not overly warm, loud or crowded. We were at a high top table and felt extremely comfortable with waitresses walking around our table and loved the service from a folded napkin when we went outside to chat on the phone or to the restroom. New fork for dinner service and a knowledgable server. To those that got over salted(that one poster), send it back and get new, you’re paying for it.

Delicious!!! We had to wait 45 minutes for a table but the upstairs waiting area and a bottle of wine recommended by the sommelier made it go by fast. We were up there with two other couples who were awesome. The appetizer wings were unbelievable, I highly recommend them and holy Moses! Get the Filet Mignon.

C Salt has a small dining room with only 11 tables, which is why reservations are a good idea, but they pack a lot of quality into such a cozy venue! Even though you are pretty close to your neighbors, we still felt like our table was intimate because of the dim lighting and the layout. It was obvious to us that there are many locals who frequent this place, and we felt like we were ‘part of the family’ for a night. Having the kitchen open to the restaurant made it more personal and kept it from feeling too small. It was very nice to see the flames from the brick oven in the background on a chilly night. The chef-owner Jon was very professional and personable as he prepared dishes and really seemed to want everyone to enjoy their evening. All of the staff seemed to be working very well as a team. The hostess made us feel right at home as soon as we walked through the door. Our server, Sara, was very attentive, but not intrusive. We could see her checking on us, but she never ‘hovered’. She was able to answer all of our questions about the food and drink. The short ribs were amazing, but a little too sweet for me to eat the entire portion all at once. So I took the rest home and had a few bites of my husband’s local halibut, which was fresh and perfectly cooked — so moist! We don’t usually get dessert, but since they have an in-house pastry chef, we decided to get something. We split the lemon meringue, which was light and refreshing. It’s not a pie, and I think that since it doesn’t have a crust, it might actually be gluten-free, but you should ask if that’s important to you. We look forward to returning to C Salt on our next visit to Falmouth.

Everything is awesome here — service, food, & ambiance! We sat at the bar because we didn’t have reservations, but it was wonderful for watching the food prep in the semi-open kitchen & Chelsea was perfect! Loved the oysters — especially the one with“sweet” in the description — they were all so fresh! The Thai calamari was awesome as well — huge portions! The mason jar cheesecake made with goat cheese was also delicious — the granola was perfect. The above-mentioned were my fav dishes, but everything else was also spectacular. We got the pork belly bites, which were very flavorful, the sushi grade tuna that was fresh & innovative, the mac & cheese side with bacon was very good as well! Chelsea even got us the espresso crime brûlée since I had expressed interest when she was telling us about the flavors of the day, which was so nice! While the crème brûlée was good, the biscotti that came with it was absolutely divine! I was super stuffed by the end though, and wished I could have finished everything. Even the bread and butter was great — bread was nice and warm. Loved that the service was unpretentious and very accommodating. Definitely worth the try!

Wow! Amazing chef and staff not only create delicious dishes and top notch cocktails but offer amazing service in a non-descript looking small house next to CVS and other strip centers. Delicious and unique dining experience. With no reservation(dumb!) we grabbed two seats at the bar next to the open kitchen and started with an oyster sampler that included selections from Duxbury, Cotuit Harbour, Washburn Island and Wellfleet. Fresh and delicious. Paired with an Albarino white, we moved on to a perfectly prepared scallop main course of SIX scallops over wilted spinach and the evenings special, a flat iron steak with broccoli rabe and pasta topped with raw egg yolk. Finished the evening with homemade strawberry ice cream with balsamic reduction. Fine dining in Falmouth. Not to be missed.

A fantastic little place in Falmouth… Eight of us went so we got a whole variety of things. Highlight: The raw bar and calamari appetizer were fantastic! The mussels are also pretty solid Entrée: Tuna was good, but not so sure about the rice ball it came with. The special of the day(fluke) was excellent; light, buttery, and perfectly seasoned. Others that got the scallop all agreed it was to salty, but they loved the greens it came with. Dessert: we ordered all 6. Crème brulé and the roasted strawberry ice cream were the unanimous favorites. Definitely get one of those if you have to decide on one desert. Service: our waitress was excellent. Efficient, helpful, with just the right amount of attentiveness. Overall I would highly recommends this place. It’s good for a casual night out or a dressed up dinner date. Nice looking bar area as well. Will definitely try that next time I stop in.

EXCELLENT food, matched with EXCELLENT service! Loved every bite! We went here last night– a Wednesday– and there was a wait, so be sure to make a reservation. But the food was WELL worth the wait and the hostess was incredibly sweet, serving us drinks outside while we waited. I asked for a virgin cocktail and the bartender made an amazing concoction that included muddled fruit and I have no idea what else but I really appreciated the care that she obviously put in. Everything we ate was delicious! I especially recommend the calamari. Just trust me.

This intimate and cozy restaurant is unbelievably perfect for a dinner for parties of two or four who enjoy lovely conversation, delicious cocktails and mouthwatering dishes. C Salt is a tiny house on a main road. Ample parking is behind this little building and one can enter through the front or through the back which is wheelchair accessible. The dining room seats just over 40 people, with tables of two or four chairs. There is also bar seating for about 8 people. This could be a fancy date night out, since the food and service warrant their upper twenties low thirties price points, but one could also come in a pair of nice jeans. One table had children at it, but they were some of the best behaved children I have ever seen. I wouldn’t bring my loud-food flinging toddler here ;) Instead, it was an ideal location for a rare date night out. My husband ordered the C Salt Bourbon Smash, and said it was amazing. We shared a seasonal salad, which was perfect as a starter for two. A generous bread basket was also brought to our table, with soft light fluffy bread. I ordered the Wagyu steak — served over seasonal veggies and perfectly whipped mashed potatoes. The presentation was flawless, and so we’re the flavors. What really blew me away was the perfect portion sizes for our meals. Often, at establishments like this, the servings are on the small side. The quality of food trumps your rumbling tummy! This is not so at C Salt — where my husband happily finished his whole place of short ribs and I took home a third of my meal to enjoy with lunch the next day. The service was knowledgeable and friendly. I would certainly come here again.
