I’ve been coming here for years. This is the place where pizza is cut in small squares. Pizza is really cheap Monday through Wednesday when they have great specials. The place definitely has that true local feel to it. I like to eat in at this place. The number of pickups around 5pm is pretty impressive.

A must when I visit the Fargo area. The Moorhead location is quality as well. Service has always been good for me. It tastes just as good today as it did when I ate here 20 years ago. I always get the pizza but recently tried Jo-Jo’s (battered potato wedges) and I found another tasty reason to keep coming here. I heard the chicken is tasty too. A unique, divey, Fargo original. Have I said the food is TASTY? Well, it is!!!

Poor service, got here at 630, ordered at 6:40 and still no pizza. It’s been over an hour. I understand if you are short staffed but come on. Hire some help! Where is the management at times likes this! I hate to complain but we have 3 very hungry people looking forward to the «best pizza in Fargo»

The pizza came hot I will give it that but it tasted like Lipton onion soup and cream of mushroom soup instead of house special. Also asked for cheese and peppers. Never came. Won’t try again.

Re-​visiting old favorite while back in town. While many things have changed in Fargo, Duanes has not. Still serving up the great pizza I remember.

Wow, the pizza was okay, not bad but not great. but they REALLY skimped on the toppings. Worse yet, I had a «large» delivered only to find a medium size that they called a large. I was able to finish myself, easily. After delivery and a additional $ 2.00 for the driver, I was out over $ 22.00. I got ripped off. Looks like locally they offer coupons, but I’m not from the area so it clearly wouldn’t apply. Again, the pie was okay, but I would have been better off at one of the chains

I ordered the Chef’s Special and I am 90% sure they put saurkraut on my pizza instead of onions… either that or their onions are cut ridiculously fine in fine strands and gobbed on the pizza. Who am I kidding… if you know what saurkraut tastes like you can recognize it. I am a fan just not on my pizza. When I called to ask if they maybe mixed mine up the guy assured me he remembered it being made and NOPE it was onion.
Either way the pizza itself just didn’t impress me. It was okay, and I’d eat it again if I had to but I wasn’t crazy about the crust or the sauce. It seemed to lack a lot of flavor and it was overwhelmed with meat.

I seem to remember this pizza tasting quite good 10 – 15 years ago, but ordered some yesterday and was left unimpressed… I get the feeling they’ve went to cheaper ingredients. It was bland and the crust tasted like it had cornmeal in it and call me crazy but crust should be made with wheat, not corn… bleh not eating here anymore…

Duane’s pizza is made the old fashioned way and is always a treat. The house special is always an excellent choice.

Hot slices and they used to have a great pizza buffet, this place is buzzing with delivery activity (although they have an abnormally high need for new drivers). They make a pizza that is slightly less thick than Pizza Hut’s and their toppings are usually decently distributed.
Prices can be a bit high for some of the special pizzas, though.

Good First Expierence
My wife and I went to Duane’s for the first time last night (10÷16÷08) and really enjoyed the experience. It is one of those great neighborhood Pizzerias with limited seating and real food. I wouldn’t call it upscale by any stretch of the imagination, but it was a warm cozy place.
We ordered a large double crust Beef and Onion with an order of Cheese Bread and absolutely loved it. The beef was crumbled perfect, the onions added great savory flavor, and the best part was the crust! Nice and thin, buttery, and just perfect on the edges.
We will definitely go there again and take our family and friends with us.

I am temporarily pulling my review down, as I am currently employed by Duane’s House of Pizza and, as such, feel that any personal review would be inappropriate.
I can and will say, however, that I am very proud of the food that we serve and that we always strive to do the absolute best that we can possibly do!
