I’ve eaten here a couple of times, and both experiences have been decent. Tonight, I had a large greek salad and chicken with rice. The salad was a typical diner greek salad: HUGE, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, crumbled feta, kalamata olives, and(by request) anchovies), with a light vinaigrette. I took a moment to remind myself that not every salad has to be some over-engineered masterwork and there’s value in enjoying«Greek Salad 101», so I did. The chicken and rice isn’t quite on the menu, but being a good diner, they whipped it up for me. Instead of just throwing a chicken breast on the grill, they took the time to slice it up and put a bit of marinade on it. The yellow rice was tasty – not greasy or salty, which tends to happen too much. And, they threw some steamed broccoli in, a nice surprise. Five stars if what you’re looking for is a damned fine diner. If you want to take the significant other out for an important date, you may want to go a bit more upmarket, though!
