Charlotte’s Frozen Yogurt is mainly a Fro yo place with some extra things, like ice cream filled cookies, ice cream, and coffee. It really adds a nice touch to main street, as there arent many places to stop and get something cold in Farmingdale. The place is clean, and the staff is helpful. The prices have gone up since they first opened, but I guess that’s to be expected. If you stop by, try the cake batter fro yo. It’s superb!

Charlotte’s is clean, simple, and friendly. It’s like a 21st century version of the idealized 50’s malt shop. Walk in, grab cup, add yogurt, enjoy. Try the apple pie!

stopped in here for dessert after a nice meal down the block at Rolling Spring Roll(they were getting mobbed) – nice little place – like all serve yourself places, your cup fils up fast. They have a nice variety, ice cream(hard and soft option); frozen yogurt and coffee. Chairs were comfortable and they didn’t move you out too fast

First time here and I just felt for something sweet. Went in, it’s self served(becarefull it can get pricey) I got a small container. They have many choices of toppings. There’s also yogurt, ice cream and smoothies. Cute lil place, it came out 5 and change but it was worth a lil treat.

Great coffee and espresso! We needed this place here on Main Street. The owner is great too!

To be honest, if you’ve seen one self-serve, pay-by-the-ounce frozen yogurt place you’ve seen ‘em all. So I can’t tell you anything you don’t already know, for the most part. But what makes the difference is atmosphere and customer service. And I’m happy to say Charlotte’s hasn’t lost their touch yet! The décor is still warm and inviting and the same can always be said of the employees. So ultimately that’s why this place gets 5 stars from me. Again it’s not REALLY different from any of the other yogurt places, but going there always makes me feel happy!

Charlottes is very clean and spacious. The coconut yogurt and the chocolate caramel Flavors were delicious! The staff is very young and super helpful and I would recommend their coffee too!

This place isn’t your typical bright candy colored corporate owned froyo places that you may be used to seeing, in fact there isn’t much color appeal to the place, but don’t be dissuaded on that alone. This place offers 18 soft serve albeit self serve machines. Prices are based on weight so it can get pretty expensive. The owner was very nice and the two girls who worked there were more than helpful. This place is fairly new only opening in 2014 and I’d like to see it survive and stay in business.

From friendly helpful service to great flavored yogurt, this is truly the best spot. They also offer Sedutto ice cream in case froyo is not your thing or if you just want to change it up or request a custom milkshake.

I don’t like that they don’t have little cups out to use to try flavors. Some of the flavors are horrible while others are pretty good, although it’s kind of hard to mess up ice cream or frozen yogurt. I come because it is convenient and close to where I live. It is ridiculously expensive and now that I think about it i don’t think that the prices are displayed any where. Considering what I know about most frozen yogurt(ie how it’s not really yogurt, lacks any real health benefits, it’s cheap to make and full of chemicals) for the price it’s a complete rip off but then again maybe they aren’t like most conventional yogurt shops and actually make real frozen yogurt. For two people it can easily be well over ten dollars I wish they had more dessert options as well. A plus is that they also serve coffee yet whenever I go in here there is no one behind the coffee part so it discourages me from even getting anything.

Lost my Froyo virginity here a month ago, and ever since I’ve been craving more. Came here for a kid’s party – yes they have a small kid’s party area in the back. And us adults kept our eye on the froyo section while the kids wrecked havoc. We got ourselves some large cups, and in a more nerve-wracking array of choices than a Chinese buffet, we took our times trying to savor every flavor and topping choices that we could. Close to home, clean, great staff, and endless options – I will be back

I initially stopped in to pick up some desserts after dinner, but they barely had anything. this place is more of a self serve frozen yogurt place/hard ice cream. It was also a little odd that they didn’t have anyone working above the age of 18(or at least it seemed that way) felt like kids running the place. Although they were a little awkward they were very friendly! I didn’t try the soft serve, but I got mint chocolate chip ice cream and also tried the pistachio. If you like pistachio ice cream with lots of chunky nuts get it here it was actually packed with nuts. Mint chocolate was good however the chunks of the chocolate were way too big and almost hurt to bite down on them while eating. If you get their loyalty card they punch it for every ice cream you buy. After 8 the next one is free that doesn’t exceed 10oz. The card is free and I’m in Farmingdale all the time so why not. I’ll be back, but this place wasn’t that great for my first experience.

I was rather confused by this place… The outside headliner says this is a Dessert spot, not just frozen yogurt. Yet there is practically no desserts other then ice cream and frozen yogurt available. The yogurt was pretty good, but rather expensive. This place is spacious, and even had more then 1 seating area/room. I know they have birthday parties here, so I can see that working well in this space.

Had a great experience attending a children’s party here. Pizza, balloon animals, tattoos, frozen yogurt with various flavors and many toppings to choose from. Kids have a private back room to eat pizza and yogurts. Great place to have a kids party. Quick and easy. Owner and his brother are so friendly and really god with kids activities that they offer. My three year old really enjoyed himself. Kids at this party ranged from ages 3 – 6.

Stumbled upon this place after dining down the street. It’s super cute inside and clean. Nice seating area, a clean bathroom, and nicely decorated. It felt homey and we loved it! The frozen yogurt was yummy and they have a good selection of flavors and toppings to choose from. No bad aftertaste or bloating like I get after going to other frozen yogurt shops. My mom and brother got coffees from the coffee bar inside(how awesome!) and they both enjoyed it. Friendly service too. Next time I’m in Farmingdale I’ll definitely make a stop here either for coffee or frozen yogurt or both!

Came in tonight after having dinner down the street; I want this place to last. Like, seriously. Is this where the art gallery was? I was trying to think of what used to be in this space. The staff is friendly and generous with the samples; coffee bar looks awesome, and I would try that next. It was a little late for it tonight; my friend and I got frozen yogurt. Main Street in Farmingdale is experiencing a little revival with this place, the little diner where Bollinger’s used to be(I still miss Von Leesen’s!), the Dark Horse Tavern, and the new Hush Bistro. I would include Cara Cara but I’ve never had a good experience there; still, if its successful, I suppose it deserves kudos too. Survive the winter, Charlotte’s! I want you around! P. S. I would love to see some comfy seating added; I could totally see coming down to read or work on my laptop here, but not in those chairs!

I love this place. My girlfriend and I go at least once a week. Delicious flavors and so many great toppings. Staff is super friendly, some of the nicest I have ever encountered. Just a warning… it is self serve and it is very easy to put too much in your cup and it can get a little pricey if you do so ease up! It never bothers me, I load up cause it is worth it!!!
