We needed a case of Napoleon cognac for a special event, so we were asking around at our various most trusted liquor stores. Rob at Uva was the only guy who was even able to correctly identify what a Napoleon cognac is! I used to be all about Stew Leonard’s, but even though this place is obviously a lot smaller, I think it’s my new favorite. Don’t forget to ask about the rewards card!

Rob is incredibly friendly, helpful with recommending wines and offers a rewards program that allows you to accrue credit towards future purchases. I buy all my liquor and wine there. They even special order me cases of my favorite wines and have them in a few days. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. With flexible hours, helpful service, a huge selection you can’t go wrong.

Stopped in last night on my way to a family gathering. I was so surprised at how large and clean the store was! So many of the shops on Main Street are cramped and run down, but this place was nearly cavernous, and sparkling clean to boot. Also, pleasantly surprised with the wide selection of liquors… they had more to choose from than Stew Leonard’s, and the price-points were very similar. Every time I’d passed by the store, I’d noticed the sign that detailed the wine tastings scheduled for the near future… last night we were lucky enough to catch one(sweet and semi-sweet Italian whites) and we ended up buying a few bottles that everyone at the party enjoyed. The staff behind the counter were super friendly and even signed us up for their rewards program(1 point for every dollar spent, discounts on purchases when you hit certain point balances). I’m so glad that a clean, bright, CLASSY, well-stocked liquor store has FINALLY opened up in downtown Farmingdale!
