Tre Scalini

This little restaurant is a hidden gem. It is very cozy inside. The wait staff are always very friendly and attentive. The food is outstanding and the portions for the price can’t be beat! It’s great for family affairs or a cozy dinner for two. I highly recommend

Oh my god. Horrid. Worst Italian food. I ordered pesto and it was like black and old and all dried up. And the pasta was so undercooked I choked on it literally it kept getting caught in my throat. This is one of those restaurants where you kind of just want to run out on the bill because paying for the nasty food is so depressing. My dad got a chicken dish I forget what it was but it looked like a microwaved meal that you would buy frozen.

Awhile ago, a friend of ours told us that we should check this place out. We decided to do so. It was a terrible experience! The service was terrible. It took a long time for someone to come and take drink order, took a long time to get drinks, the food came out luke warm (not hot at all) and no one came back to check on us. We were sitting there with our glasses empty. We would have understood if the restaurant was crowded, but it wasn’t. We very much regret going to that place. Waste of money!

My friend and I was here for lunch, food is great. The staff is pleasant and very knowledgable of the menu. I do recommend this place.

Really sad. This was a family favorite.
We celebrated my mom’s 50^th birthday here last night. Upon booking, the manager would not give us a Saturday at 6pm because he would lose too much business, so we settling for a Saturday at 8pm so we could have the whole place to ourselves. We were inviting 50 – 60 people. Two times we confirmed (by me AND my cousin) that we would have the whole place to ourselves.
Last night, when my fiancé and I got to Tre Scalini, there were still 50 people there eating dinner. There was nowhere for people to sit for almost an hour! We asked Angelo multiple times for more tables, and he said he could not lose business by giving us more tables. So for an hour we stood in the middle of the room until tables cleared.
My fiancé approached Angelo about the issue, and Angelo told him multiple times that he was lying, and he said he was never promised the whole room. Upon seeing my cousin, who frequents Tre Scalini more than us, his tune changed. All of a sudden, he admitted he made a mistake.
Luckily, Hugo was great with helping us out and actually ADMITTING to the mistake on their part. He gave us many bottles of wine on each table, and made sure things were as efficient as possible.
I know I will not be coming back here to eat after such a bad experience. The was everything was handled by Angelo was very upsetting.
On a regular night, the food is great. I’m not sure if we had a bad taste in our mouths from the beginning of the experience or what, but last night, it just was not the same.

We went here tonight for dinner we have gone there a lot times always had great food and great service but tonight we had a coupon from the entertainment book for a $ 15.00 voucher and they would not take it it said nothing about can’t take it on Saturday night I asked to talk to the manager so he came over and said he never put it in the book and would not do anything about it it is very BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. We will never go there again and the manager was very pleasant. Wish the old manager Jimmy was still there cause he had very good customer service. So don’t go there with any coupons they won’t take them.

Oh lord. You call this Italian? By far the worst Italian food I’ve ever had in my lifetime. Watered down bolognese sauce. Ewww not coming back.

Went here for a Bridal Shower and the place was pretty nice. The décor was nice and the staff was nice too. Only two bathrooms (one male and one female).
Food was pretty good– we started off with eggplant, calamari and bruchetta. There was a pasta with vodka sauce which was pretty good and multiple entrée’s to choose from; I had the chicken marsala and the sauce was delicious. Dont have too much to report about it but based on the food it was pretty good. It isnt my most favorite Italian place to go but I had a good experience.
