Grecian Grill

Food was good, small place. But one waitress sat one table away from us BLABBING on her cell phone LOUDLY, even throwing in a few choice curse words and derogatory terms. Unacceptable! Especially being we had our son with us which she plainly saw.
I can’t give a bad review for the whole place, but that lady has got to GO!
Disrespectful and crass.

I’ve ordered takeout from here numerous times and the food is always delicious. I’m a big fan of falafel and their falafel sandwich is amazing! I love the platters so I can add fries. I say tahini instead of tzatsiki and they always get it right! The food is always ready when I go to pick it up. Years ago I went on a date here and I always remembered it as a nice place. I hope to come here soon for lunch with a friend. A nice local Greek spot with DELICIOUS food!

I love Greek. I eat it quite often. I was very disappointed with Grecian grill, I got a chx souvlaki sandwich and the chx was weird it didn’t taste like chicken. I ate cause I was starving but aside from it being weird it was fatty and bland also. I won’t be returning.

We stumbled on this restaurant. What a pleasant experience! The food was very fresh and satisfying, including the Kids Manu. The lady who runs it is so friendly. All of all it was a great satisfying and warm experience.

The salmon on spinach was so fresh and delicious. It came with a Greek salad and rice. My friend ordered the same thing and we were very pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere is cozy and small. Service was great. I’ll be back.

Stumbled upon this place with my wife and kids and have been back a couple of times since. Really good food, amazing salads and very nice service. One of the butter Greek places I have been to, in the area. Will definitely continue to come back.

Just started ordering from them for take out. I usually get the Grilled Chicken with Greek Salad Wrap and the fried calamari. Wrap is fresh and tasty while the calamari is nicely fried to a golden color. When picking up my order the staff is friendly and nice. Now i just need to come in and sit down.

This is your average neighborhood greek restaurant. I had a spinach pie and my hubby had the gyro melt. I thought the spinach pie was OK but ive had better. Found it weird that it wasnt served with tziki sauce as everywhere else serves this dish with a side of tziki but the waitress brought it over quickly upon request so it wasnt a big deal. My husband enjoyed his gyro melt very much. Prices were average and the service was good.

We ordered take out from here and were very surprised.
Fresh lettuce for our greek salads, no brown edges at all. We didnt get grape leaves — kinda our favorite thing — maybe they were forgotten or maybe here they are not part of the salad. Othwerwise a nice clean healthy salad and a fair portion size.
We ordered falafel balls — never having had them before. They were DRY — very DRY — I am not sure if they were supposed to be. The sauce that accompanied them was great, so we drowned each bite so as to have some moisture. They were not OLD — they seemed fresh — so I am thinking they are that way by design…
Now our favorite was the Hummus. Most greek places either have watery hummus, or too much garlic, or just overall something missing. If I could give ¹⁰⁄₁₀ for the hummus alone I would.
Overall if we are in the area this will be our go to greek place — but I will still travel a few extra minutes to go to my favorite — undisclosed location…

Just ordered out tonight. I had a gyro on pita and the chicken souvlaki. The souvlaki sauce was in a large cup, giving plenty to share Among the 4 of us. There were at least 14 slices of pita in the bag and the food was delicious. The meat had excellent flavor and the veggies were cooked perfectly. This is probably one of the finest Greek places in Long Island.

Grecian Grill is a small and cozy restaurant. The food is delicious, the prices are excellent and the servers are always super nice.
I always order the same dish at Grecian Grill. I get a steak, onions and mozzarella sandwich with French fries. It’s the best steak sandwich that you’ll get on Long Island and probably the best French fries.

I had heard good things and they were confirmed. Fresh, tasty, quick and friendly.
Pretty straight forward, I haven’t been back in a couple years but I’m sure as many times as I’ve been there over the years, they have great gyros to this day.

Food is excellent here! Great gyros and love the mozzy fries. Staff is friendly and have never been disappointed. I always get take out for my wife and self. Greek salad always fresh and tasty. My wife loves their chicken gyro! Definitely give them a try! Nice portions.

Best freakin gyro I’ve ever had. The lamb is ridiculous. The fries just as good as the first time. Casey, I don’t know what happened to your fries but you gotta give em a second chance!

. Staff is super friendly, especially the adorable waitress who works Friday nights, she always remembers us and our order and is attentive and awesome.

This is a fantastic, small, warm and welcoming family owned Greek Restaurant in the heart of Farmingdale. The food is delicious and is served very quick. My usual favorite is the Chicken Souvlaki Platter with Greek Salad and extra tzatziki sauce on the side.

No, no, no. The avgolemono was bland as bland can be. Tasted like watered down chicken broth with flour and rice thrown in. I took a couple bites and pushed it aside, which is unlike me (usually I’ll eat something even if it’s not thrilling.)
The chicken gyro was disappointing. It was floppy, almost like the pita and chicken had been microwaved. Just disappointing all the way around. I don’t understand all of the positive reviews this place is getting. Maybe it’s because I’m from Astoria, so my expectations are higher. But trust me, all of the places to choose from in Farmingdale… I’m sorry I wasted my pallet on this place!

Their food here is really good. But more than that the husband-​and-​wife that own the place are great. They’re always quite busy yet they still seem to be friendly and happy to assist us with our orders, and take the time to even just say a quick hello.
Also, they have a couples special which is two gyros and a Greek salad. I don’t member the price but it was it was a good deal. We usually order that because it is very good and very filling.
