I have not eaten at this place since it was branding iron bbq and was curious how the food was since the buy out. I must say I was slightly disappointed in the lack of options compared to the previous. We ordered a full rack of ribs and the brisket. First the good. The portions were good, especially on the brisket and it was cooked well. The bad: the brisket had almost no flavor at all, the ribs were very dry and over done (reminded me of next day reheats at home). The atmosphere felt like a fast food place and the food was served very quickly. My corn on the cob also was cold as if reheated. For the price I definitely wish I would have eaten somewhere else and will probably not be back. When it was the branding iron we ate there almost every other week.

Only BBQ joint in town! The pork steaks are huge and really good. The sides taste like they just came out of a can. The potato salad has a mustard base to it and tasted like it was pre made and not freshly made. They baked the baked potatoes we got with our meal for way to long. Way over cooked and tough. The fries I got with a meal were hot and fresh and I would recommend those. You also get a free ice cream with your meal.

My experience as a new customer was wonderful. The employee at the entrance was friendly and accommodating as he explained the menu items to me. The pulled pork sandwich I decided on was delicious. The sides were both tasty and reasonably portioned for the price. Overall, it was a pleasant place to dine.

Stopped in while in town on a business trip, ordered the brisket sandwich with coleslaw and fries. The brisket was delicious – thin sliced and tender with great smoked flavor. Fries were ok, coleslaw was creamy and a bit on the sweet side. Friendly staff and service.

Happened upon this bbq joint randomly looking for a quick lunch. It turns out they make a mean pulled pork and rib combo. If I had to pick just one I would opt for the pulled pork. Portions were large and the sides were standard BBQ fair. I had the baked beans and potato salad. It’s counter style BBQ, which I like and very comfortable. Our food was out quick, considering the rush. The cherry on top is the complementary soft serve after the meal. I’m a huge fan of the sweet after salty. Solid 4 star establishment. Worth the stop if you’re traveling through.

We came in spur of the moment, and are happy we did!!! I had the brisket platter and you get three HUGE slices of tender brisket and two sides (took over half of it home :) My husband had the ribs (kids too) and the bones were picked clean! Complimentary ice cream and free drink refills! Food arrives quickly, and every staff member was friendly and seemed happy to be there… even though it was Valentines Day! Atmosphere was good and dining room was clean. We will definitely be back!
