Dairy Queen

Always dirty for the past three times I’ve been in, employees complain about being at there job and how everyone sucks, closed early during posted hours. Worst Dairy Queen I have experienced.

This location is pretty good. The girl that works the drive thru regularly is really nice, Im not exactly sure her name but she is usually always there. Really nice, pretty quick. This locations drive thru can get kind of busy though. I don’t usually go though when I have anything else to do so its not really a problem. I could tell they are training new staff today though which is why it took a little longer and one of my cones was a little lop sided. Tasted fine though =)

For a fast food place, this location is pretty nice inside. Helpful cashier, suggested items that i wanted, food came out quick. Food portions are small! They forgot part of my order and didnt apologize, but corrected it. Ordered the shrimp basket, shrimp is not very good. Overall nice environment, decent food quality and not terrible service.

How do you run out of Oreo blizzard mix??? This is the second time this has happen. It would be nice to let people know before waiting in line for 15mins and then not be able to get anything. At least Safeway is in the same parking lot to still get ice cream. I’m never coming back to this location.

I ordered the #8, chicken melt, a salad, plain burger and large fries. My total ended up being $ 17.99. The whole time i was ordering i felt rushed by the girl taking my order. Once we got our order we asked for ranch for the fries and burger for our kids so they didnt have to share the one thing of ranch. Kayla was very rude and would only give us one sauce and wanted to charge for the other one ranch.
I was not impressed by the serivce, whatever happened to making the coustmer happy? It was just one ranch thats all we asked for.

I have made two visits to the federal way Dairy Queen. I would give the drive thru a solid 3star, and recommend staying in your car as opposed to going in. The line inside is unorganized’ and meanders through a sea of customers waiting for their treats. Inside is Basically the opposite of a well oiled Starbucks. Both visits I used the $ 1 off coupon from the value-​pak, making the historically overpriced Blizzard a fair priced indulgence.

It’s 90 degrees outside and 95 degrees inside this place!!! No A/​C or at least it’s not turned on!!! Sitting in the restaurant sweating!!!
I bought a cake for my daughters graduation party, worst decorating job ever!!! Looked like a 2year old did the work. Wasn’t ready when they said it would be it was soft and melting when they did give it to me!!! This DQ needs some help or new management that has an eye for customer service!

When it’s 90 degrees in Seattle and you are melting, DQ is refreshing. The drive thru here is small but steady.
The Blizzard is the way to go. The soft serve ice cream melts really fast though. I tried a new peanut butter flavor.

The new stoplight installed at the corner means you won’t be held for ransom like in summer’s past when attempting a left turn.

Went in here on Friday night (6.12.2015) close to closing to get a blizzard. They were relatively busy with lost of families. My experience was unpleasant to say the least. It smelt like garbage when you first walked in, like no one had emptied the garbage cans for days and they were incredibly full. You could see garbage coming out of the top. The whole reason why I walked in instead of going to the drive thru was because there was a line of cars and it seemed to be taking forever. All the staff in the back seemed very disorganized and not paying attention to the customers. Granted it was near closing and they probably wsnted to close up and go home. When it was my turn to order the girl who took my order was rude. She seemed to be a shift lead maybe. She had bright fluorescent red hair was getting everywhere. She said are you going to order or not before even saying anything else. I stepped to the side and waited. A young girl came up after me and ordered blizzards and a banana split. The cashier was equally as rude to her as me. She called my order and when I walked up to get it she made a comment about how I was taking to long and rolled her eyes. The girl after me was called next. They made three of her items wrong and when she pointed it out, they tried to argue with her. They finally remade them after they served other people in line. She said something to them about not getting her things first and the cashier with the bright, long red hair called her a snatch. She actually called a customer a snatch. She then took her name tag off and went to the drive up window. RUDE… When the girl was leaving with the place the cashier proceeded to wave and say have a nice night snatch. WTF! If I ever go back here and she is there I will refuse to deal with her and ask for a manager. You can’t call customers names like that. Hopefully she gets fired because of it.

So disappointed with my double Burger. Usually has the flame boiled taste. Oh no not this one. It tasted like it had been microwaved, the lettuce was hot and cooked. I will call this #4 combo at more than $ 6 a rip off. Dairy queen shame on you. Forget that shame on me.

Really poor service.
I have to repeat my simple order at least three times. Customers that where in last in line get served before I do.
The place smells like cheap perfume in order to cover other smells. The oder is so strong you would think the place is full hookers.
Worst of all the employees are louder than a 727 on take off.
The only good thing is that do have $ 5 bog standard lunch. So does every Dairy Queen. This location is not a good Dairy Queen. So it’s better to go someplace else.

Not a fan, only stopped by because my daughter was hungry after school and we were passing by. Went through the drive thru. Ordered a kiwi strawberry Orange Julius, was told they didn’t have it anymore… an updated menu would be nice if they no longer had it, especially if that was an advertised special on their menu board. Secondly, I ordered the $ 5 chicken strip basket, and the strips are literally nuggets, they were so small and sad looking. I accidentally asked for ranch, but my daughter wanted bbq sauce so I asked if I can switch it. The girl told me she has to charge me 59¢ for it. Screw that. I told her I will just use my own bbq sauce I have at home instead. Service sucks.

So I came through the drive thru ordered 2 salted caramel blizzards for my mom and i. Waited 10 min in line. Got home started eating what I thought was what I ordered. The girl rang me up for cookie dough blizzards. So I call and she says she’ll replace them if I come down there. I get there and the manager tells me I have to bring the blizzards in with me to get them replaced. The girl I was talking to on the phone wasn’t even a manager, so I don’t know why she’s answering the phone and telling me she can replace it. So they wasted my time and wasted my money on something I didn’t even want. NEVER WILL I EVER DO BUISNESS
THERE. This place is very inefficient. 10 people is considered really busy. I don’t recommend this dairy queen… this place SUCKS.

DQ is DQ in most cases but this one suffers from Severe logistic issues
Came here once no hot fudge ran out
Another time no bananas ran out (hello Safeway parking lot)
Last time ran out of peanuts
Tonight ran out of cones
Come on who is managing the supplies here?

I have been coming here for a few years now and like most fast food places, can find something to complain about if I want to but I am choosing to see the good and this DQ has more good qualities than bad. Yes, it’s true, this place has a smelly past, but that is all behind us now. Under a new remodel, this place is already starting to look better. The staff works hard, the food is always fresh and hot, and I’ve personally had the store manager help me at the drive thru and talk to me like an old friend on more than one occasion.
This may never be the BEST fast food joint in the world, but for me and my family on this side of Federal Way, it’s suits us just fine. =)

Ordered a mushroom cheeseburger because I had one a long time ago (not this location) and raved about the loads of mushrooms. When I opened the burger there were 3 tiny mushrooms in the middle! Whoa! It was the most terrible burger I’ve ever eaten. Will never order food at the location again. It’s something about the area because the KFC across the street is consistently bad. I don’t eat at either place anymore. And I’m not a picky eater.

Horrible customer service!!! Sat in drive through for 10 minutes while being told every 2 minutes to hold on we will be right with you. If you order food inside plan on playing with your phone for 20 min

This place is so bad. It literally smells like vomit or sour milk in the dining area. Bathrooms are nasty both from lack of cleaning and maintenance. Staff is the rudest most dismissive bunch of young adults. The make you present ID to pay with a card. I actually had to go home and get a copy if my marriage license because my husband’s name is on the card, for a purchase under $ 5!!! Food always tastes old and chicken strip are more like nuggts.

Filthy, dirthy & super smelly restaurant (girls said it smelled like dirty diapers…). Had a bad experience here a few months back (got charged $ 9 for 3 super small dipped cones…) but decided to try it again.
Went inside to get 3 Blizzards — ordered (had to change our order twice because they were out of ingrediants…) went to pay, had a coupon from there store and the manager wouldn’t take it because it wasn’t printed out (no where does it state it needs to be printed on the coupon). Walked out and guarantee I’ll NEVER go back…

This is the 2^nd time I have gone there…
The 1^st time I had 5 sep orders going through the drive thru. Whoever was on intercom told me I had to come inside to place my order and was extremely rude! Why would I have to go inside to place my order when it is basically the same as 4 other cars being behind me if we all had one order?! Just makes no sense… Had to carry all of the food, drinks, and ice creams out by myself! Shitty service…

Had 2 sep orders, the $ 5 lunch boxes. My boss wanted the cheeseburger ones and def got everything EXCEPT the meat on there! Weren’t many fries at all either. My boss called and they told her she can bring burger back to get it replaced but didn’t offer anything for inconvenience. Smh just rude people working there & shitty service! We are never going there again…
Only gave 1 star bc it is required!!!
